writing Our bias of reality

 Does it take your breath away to see your life for what it is?

Knowing that the very basis of your thoughts contain the bias of humanity

What does this leave you feeling as you stand atop your pedestal?

Looking down upon the world for only what you would dream to see

With no consequence, and no reason for any actions

It would seem that my point has been made clear

However, it most obviously has not…

 

There are no morals in a world of power

One man will gladly trade the life of another in pursuit of selfish desires

Showing oh how noble we truly are

So, I have come to question reality as a whole

This dark, twisted sacrament of intertwined greed and death

A plane of existence that should not even by its own right, exist

 

So where does this place you?

Or perhaps a better question, where does this place me?

Are we really just the same?

The same, as in one with a generation of cut-throats and thieves

I’ve begun to surely lose hope that we can be salvaged
