Lila watched as Rain leaned closer. Then she felt his lips on hers. She pulled him closer and tried not to giggle while she felt the fish swim around them. Her horn began to glow a bright blue flame. Its wormth radiated to both of them. She broke the kiss with a grin on her face and the flame went out. Her parents would disaprove of her but they didnt matter at the moment.

As they broke apart Rain felt very surprised, And it was showing. "Wow...I thought you would push me away." He said, Blushing.

*I just...I just kissed a pony...I have been made fun of my whole life...I cam here expecting to make some friends...And I think I have made more than a friend.* He thought, Looking into her eyes and smiling. *Wait a sec...I didn't just kiss a mare...I kissed a queen.* His eye's widened.

Goldseek, realizing he had just left Scamps, walked back to the beautiful lime coated pegasus. "Sorry for running off like that. I guess I got a bit distracted." Goldseek felt a blush form on his face. He put his hoof around he shoulders, hoping she wouldn't mind.

The redness in Dusks face began to fade, and he started slowly walking again. He looked around, and realised there where several flowers all with their heads pointed in his direction - he felt as though he was being watched, and that made him a little edgy. 

 

"Why would I ha- " Dusk stopped as he found himself eventually approaching Evergreen. 

He then turned his attention to her rather quickly - "Um, hello?" He spoke the words quietly, almost to himself. 

Eve's head snapped up from where it had been lulling, lost in thought.  "Oh, hello." she said, not unkindly. She peered curiously at the colt who had spoken, and the mare who stood somewhat behind him, and off to one side. Looked like he'd already found himself a marefriend, whoever he was.

"That's okay, I've pretty much met some ponies who were shy." Leaf said, trying to make her feel better. "So let's go left and see where that takes us." Leaf directed. He then went up into the sky to see what the garden from the bird's eye looked like. He could see the pond where he and Silver are probably going. "You can come up here if you want! It's okay if you don't!" he called to Silver.

"Okay!" She smiled, Leaf was actually a really sweet pony, maybe she could do this after all. She flew up and her eyes filled with wonder. " I've never been so high up before I usually tend to stay on the ground!" Laughing she fluttered around Leaf, and she realized that he was really sweet, and cute.

As he spoke, he slowly offered his hoof out for a hoofshake, but as he did so he noticed Evergreens gaze shifting between himself and Star. It was then he looked back to the mare he had been socialising with - completely forgetting about his half extended hoof, leaving it suspended in the air. "Oh and of course this is St...well, I should let her introduce herself shouldn't I?" These words where accompanied by a look of question to Star, the kind of look that says - 'If that's okay with you?'

Rain smiled and hugged her. "I can imagine they would be little protective...And I like you allot too." He frowned. "We are one strange couple...A deer and a pony." He said, taking her hooves in his. "But I guess...When you like someone...You like someone." He smiled and gave her another hug.

Lila liked the hugs and laughed a little at his comment. "Oh, who cares. What difference does it make? Its not like Equestria is going to randomly blow up for no reason." Lila then looked around her and saw the hostess. "I havent introduced myself to the hostess. I should probably do that." She said as she swam to the edge of the pond and got out, trotting over to the hostess.

Dusk raised an eyebrow when Star tapped his hoof, then he noticed and immediately placed it to the floor again. "Oops, there I go again" he joked, "Of course, you told me you had already met" exclaiming with a facehoof.  He then looked across at the flowers Star was interacting with, and became aware of the flowers from before - the ones that still seemed to be watching him. "Umm...what's with the flowers?" He spoke softly, to try and keep unnoticed "I know this place is magical and all, but I feel like i'm being watched - I dont...like...being watched..."

Evergreen made to take the extended hoof that was slightly slackened, but the pony withdrew it before she could. "My name's Evergreen. But you two can call me Eve. Everypony does." She smiled at the flowers that opened. THe air seemed to be humming with the same cyan energy as the unicorn's magic. With a comment about the flowers looking at him, well... "This garden is as alive and aware as you or I," she told him. "It's watching everypony."

Rain nodded. "Ok...I will be somewhere around here." He said, Following her out of the pool and shook himself off, Then he trotted over to the dance area. He smiled, Looking up at the large topiary sculpture's. *I can't believe that one pony managed to do all of this.* He thought.

Dusk recoiled at the fact that he WAS being watched, and not just imagining it. He felt slightly uneasy all of a sudden, even more so than he was when he first entered. He backed up from where he was stood, desperately looking for a dark area - there where none close in sight, but there was one spot near the maze that looked...dark. He glared at the spot intensely over his shoulder for a few seconds...

Evergreen made to take the extended hoof that was slightly slackened, but the pony withdrew it before she could. "My name's Evergreen. But you two can call me Eve. Everypony does." She smiled at the flowers that opened. THe air seemed to be humming with the same cyan energy as the unicorn's magic. With a comment about the flowers looking at him, well... "This garden is as alive and aware as you or I," she told him. "It's watching everypony."

" Wow, they really are?" Star Rain said in amazement. She decided to see if the flowers would open up all the way in response to a few magic spells she knows very well. She levitated a rock off of the ground and used her color changer spell on it to make it purple. The flowers opened up again, this time halfway. She used a shining spell to make the purple rock smooth and lustrous. It looked like a little amethyst stone now, shaped like a heart. In response, the flowers opened up to reveal a luminous, yellow light at the center. It went really well with the purple petals since purple and yellow, as Star Rain knows very well, are contemplative colors.

Dusk couldn't make any sort of eligible sense out of his own words, he was shivering now at the thought of being watched, and his flank started to ripple with different shades of the darker colour spectrum as he approached the darkness, black, purple, navy blue and all kinds of similar colours, until that part of his flank matched perfectly to the shadows behind him - he didn't get time to fully hide himself before he collapsed onto the floor, shaking and covering his head with his hooves and whimpering to himself.

Star Rain's eyes widened with horror when Dusk collapsed. " Dusk! Dusk, are you ok?!" she shouted, running to Dusk's side. In a quieter voice, she said," Dusk, it's ok. I'm here now, the plants won't attack you or me just because they're aware of our presence." She felt like she was being watched, too. She wasn't insecure though.

At first, hearing the hoofsteps running towards him caused Dusk to scramble back as best he could, but to almost no avail. He just lay there terrified and quaking. Upon hearing the now familiar voice however, he seemed to calm down a little - at least to the point where he stopped shivering. He was still whimpering a little, but not as much as he was. He attempted to bury his head a little more into his hooves, practically into the floor at this point. Despite Star Rains calming efforts, Dusk was still trying his best to hide in the darkness where he could - again, to no more avail than before.

Lila trotted up to the where the gold pelted mare was standing with a few others. "Excuse me, but are you the hostess?" She asked politly. She was aware of the other ponies and hopped none of them felt like she was intruding their time with the mare. She then noticed the flora around her seemed to be "watching" her and felt a little uncomfortable.

Star Rain laid down on the ground next to Dusk, who seemed less terrified now. She saw some reeds nearby and suddenly had an idea. She began to use wind magic on the reeds to make a calm, liquid sound. It sounded like a harp, except there wasn't a lot of plucking sounds. " Dusk, calm down. We won't be harmed in any way here. I promise from the bottom of my heart," she asked, hoping he would calm and sit up.

Eve had been watching the colt freak out, feeling useless, when another mare approached. She nodded, and said somewhat distractedly, "Yes, I'm the hostess."

 

She looked at the pair she had been talking to before, and said, "Well, they're only watching because they don't know you yet. They're nervous. Just show them you're friendly."  @@MagicalStarRain,@,

 

She turned back to the mare from just moments ago. "Sorry..."

Only slightly aware of his surroundings, he barely noticed Star lying next to him. It took a few minutes, but eventually Dusk seemed to be behaving almost rationally again now, the colours of his coat had returned to their normal dark blue/purple colour, and he was less shaky now. 

 

Given a few more minutes, he managed to raise his hooves from his head, and lift up from the dirt - somewhat awkwardly making his way into some form of sitting pose. It didn't look natural, and it wasn't particularly any more comfy than it looked, but he made do - still shaking. 

 

"S...star?" He said, almost in disbelief that she had come to comfort him. He never normally let other ponies see his emotions, being weak as he was - "I'm...i'm...i'm sorry you had to see that Star...I...I didn't -" he cut off, his voice now leaking telltale signs of holding back tears, but looking frustrated more than anything now, and dug his hooves into the ground firmly. "I'm so sorry..." He looked down and away from Star, and tears silently streamed down his face. "Thank-you...for not running..." was about all he managed to say.

Only slightly aware of his surroundings, he barely noticed Star lying next to him. It took a few minutes, but eventually Dusk seemed to be behaving almost rationally again now, the colours of his coat had returned to their normal dark blue/purple colour, and he was less shaky now. 

 

Given a few more minutes, he managed to raise his hooves from his head, and lift up from the dirt - somewhat awkwardly making his way into some form of sitting pose. It didn't look natural, and it wasn't particularly any more comfy than it looked, but he made do - still shaking.

"Your welcome, Dusk," Star Rain said with the same, calm voice. She stopped her spell and sat up. " Just like what Eve said, we just have to show the plants that we're friendly," she said, repeating Evergreen's words. She then placed her hoof in Dusk's hoof and sat there, waiting for his response.

He then started to fly around the garden, thinking the Silver was with him. Smiling Silver followed Leaf to wherever he was going, "where are we going?" She asked. She flew up beside him and looked below, her heart raced as she realized how high they were. Out of instinct she flew closer to Leaf for protection and comfort. "Oh I'm sorry Leaf, I'm just a little nervous .. I've never flown so high before"

Lila waited pationtly while the hostess talked with the other two. When she turned back, Lila smiled. "Its alright. Im Lila Fireheart of FallenMoon." She paused for a second then slowly and cautiously stuck her hoof out to shake unsure if it was what she was supposed to do.
