open Need for Heroes! (Revamp) Role Play

"So Nighty, have any fun with Delphina last night? I know she made you eat my brownies this morning!" Sapphire stuck her tongue out at him and bounced in a circle around the group, "You know, you really should be at home though," she said, sounding sad, "You're not going to like what you're going to see... Maybe after the date that I'm not supposed to tell you I gave Delphina gift cards for later, you can sleep."

Delphina turned bright red and said nothing.

 

"No, I didn't eat the brownies. And last night... I went straight to sleep. So if I think I am correct, no, we didn't."

He blushed, ignoring the comment about some kind of card. He leaned into Delphina, still moving forward. He liked hearing Sapphire prattle on, but he made a mental note not to tell her any secrets.

"Oh yah, and there's one more thing..." Sapphire sighed, "And I've had to do some serious blocking in my brain for this. I went back to Den's old apartment; his sister is staying there. I know you know, but if you tell him Nightfall..." she shook her head sadly, "Things won't end well."

Delphina leaned comfortingly back into him and ignored Sapphire, "We're here. That's his cottage, right?"

"Oh yah, and there's one more thing..." Sapphire sighed, "And I've had to do some serious blocking in my brain for this. I went back to Den's old apartment; his sister is staying there. I know you know, but if you tell him Nightfall..." she shook her head sadly, "Things won't end well."

Delphina leaned comfortingly back into him and ignored Sapphire, "We're here. That's his cottage, right?"

"I know, Sapphire. She herself told me."

He sighed. He looked up and saw the cottage, and it indeed was Jack's cottage.

"Yes. That is it."

He leaned a bit more into Delphina.

"Why is Sapphire here?" He whispered into her ear. "Is it in case the promise needs to be fulfilled?"

Delphina shook her head, "I don't think he thinks you're ready for that. Besides, Sapphire would not be bouncing if that were the case. She's keeping a lot more secrets than you think, like how late she stayed up last night covering your paperwork, how she didn't actually get you that blindfold, but ran out and got the herbs for the tea this morning, and how the gift card was actually a gift from Speedy, who was to embarrassed to tell you herself." He stepped up to the door and knocked. Jack would be home, if course. And the first thing he would say to him would be something of a greeting with the word dimwit, Jack's favorite name for him, in there.

Delphina bumped him out of the way of the door and winked at him. Sapphire sent him a telepathic message, She thinks maybe Jack will trip up and call her dimwit instead. Worth a shot, right? Then you can call HIM dimwit! He also got the telepathic equivilent of rolling on the floor laughing, with just the faint hint of a smile actually on her face.

Cumulus was sitting on the couch and Jack was, for the moment, nowhere to be seen. He looked at Nightfall, then went back to staring at the wall. "Close the door. It's getting cold." he said.

 

 

 

Patches nodded to Den but didnt say anything. He grabbed his back pack and put it on the couch.

Cumulus was sitting on the couch and Jack was, for the moment, nowhere to be seen. He looked at Nightfall, then went back to staring at the wall. "Close the door. It's getting cold." he said.

Nightfall got the message, but something was off. He stepped inside, almost closing the door on the mares.

"You're too familiar. Where's Jack? He sent me a message which I'm admitting I'm late to respond to. I need to talk with him."

He stepped further inside.

Sapphire sat on her hind legs, "Hi Butajiri. I mean Cumulus. Den says hi too. I don't think you ever met me. I'm Sapphire," she smiles at him innocently.

Delphina hisses, I can't blow it now, I've already gone, like, 5 hours! "JACK! WE'RE HERE!"

Den sighed, "Eat your sandwich first, Patches. Better to do your work while your full."

Mirror looked at the green figure dully. Not a single thought crossed her mind. Here eyes darted around. No pony to copy anywhere. They had all ran away. She instead walked up to the green figure and studied it closer, trying to find out what it was. "Your old. Too old. Tell me why." She could tell all of this through tests the scientists had given her.

"I've had enough of these games. Now, you can come to the police willingly and I wont have to kick your flank or...I can kick your flank and I will force you to come to the police. Your choice." She said, preparing herself for the pony to make a move. *That was a typical thing to say...I gotta come up with better lines.* She thought.

Jack walked in from his bedroom one wrinkled hoof at a time. "It's really good to see you again." he said in a raspy voice. "All of you. I have tea on the counter for you, but I only made two cups."

 

Cumulus stood up, walked past Jack and stepped outside, avoiding conversation.

 

"And Im sure at least one of you recognises him." Jack sighed.

Sapphire stared at Jack, confused, "Why doesn't he want to talk? Is he an introvert?"

 

"No Sapphire," Delphina replies, "He's as far from introverted as possible. The question is; why is he here?"

 

"To help us make brownies?" Sappire sounded a little to hopeful, and Delphina sighed.

 

"Let's let Jack answer the questions, Sapphire."

Your choice." She said, preparing herself for the pony to make a move. *That was a typical thing to say...I gotta come up with better lines.* She thought.

"I'm not playing games. I'm asking questions. What are you?" Mirror asked, still showing no emotions. If she could become impatient, that's what she would be right now. She looked at the pony-like creature. It seemed so much like a pony, yet it's emotions were not copyable.

Arrow raised an eyebrow. "Why do you think its your business ?" She asked. "You snap a ponies wing and now you're wanting to know everything about me ? Why would I tell you anything. Now, Come with me...Or I will make you come with me." She said, tapping her hoof on the ground impatiently.

Fight.' She lunged at the form as fast as she could, but, lacking the speed the pegasus had given her, it was slow enough to dodge if a pony were to think fast enough. She stared into space, not even taking into account what she was doing. Not even caring.

 

Having sent out the Blank to do his dirty work for him, Démence set to work trying to find a way to escape. The Blank couldn't help, it would just set off the shock cuffs. He began trying to translate the letters. No use. This prison was genius. Who could invent something like this? He continued to study the bars.

Fight.' She lunged at the form as fast as she could, but, lacking the speed the pegasus had given her, it was slow enough to dodge if a pony were to think fast enough. She stared into space, not even taking into account what she was doing. Not even caring.

 

Arrow quickly jumped to the side. "I gotta admit...I was expecting more than that. And I guess this is your decision...have it your way then." She raised a hoof and several small thorn's...about the same size of a dart...Appeared above her hoof, they all shot in Mirror's direction.

Mirror made no attempt to dodge the thorns. They all hit her, but there was no blood. She didn't even flinch. She pulled one out. "A thorn. How is that possible?" She asked, still with the same dull tone. She made a similar lunge, this time her speed increased a little. Her thoughts were flooded with the same two words.

As Mirror ran at Arrow for the second time, Arrow punched a thorn deeper into Mirrors arm...But sadly, Arrow didn't move in time. She was knocked to the ground and hit her head against the pavement. "Buck...You're lucky we're in a city...If these were dirt roads...You would be dead." She said, standing up and making a few more thorns materialize, But these ones looked different, They had a faint green aura surrounding them as Arrow sent them flying at Mirror.

 

(OOC: The darts are like sleep darts.)

Mirror looked at the second array of thorns. They pierced her coat, but still did no damage. "Really? You would do that again? How stupid are yo...." She collapsed onto the ground, asleep.

 

Démence heard a beep on his device. He checked it to find out that the Blank was down. "Dammit! Wait. Still alive. Just sleeping. What the buck is going on out there?" He was getting annoyed. He tried to attack the bar, causing his hoof to hurt. He felt like screaming.

Her head hurt and she had a pony on her back. *Why did I think this was a good idea ?* She thought a few minutes later, landing outside the police station and tapping on the door. *I have no idea what i'm doooiiing.* She thought, peeking inside.

Sapphire felt someone attack the bars of their cell at the police station an shifted her weight, "Umm... Can we hurry up here? I get nervous whenever I can't check the holding cells... Bad things always happen." Oh Speedy, please be okay... Please don't be und attack again...

Thunder Hooves ate his food then nodded to Ferean before flying out of the appartment. 'So, step 1: Job, Step 2: Booze, Step 3: Crime fighting,' he thought as he flew above Manehattan. He stopped in front of the police station and chuckled. "Like I would even consider," he snarked. He did however peer into the police station, and after deducing it was mainly empty, he walked inside. "Come here Brooooowniiieeees..." he called out, looking for some treats, and possibly checking to see if they had any criminals from the previous night locked up.

Nightfall shot a glance at Sapphire, then at Delphina.

"It would. Go ahead and start, Jack. Oh, and Sapphire, if you aren't needed now, go back to the station."

Nightfall sat down.

"I am," Speedy replied walking out and hearing two heroes in the lobby. "Hey! I'm here!" She ran down, helping one of them with a prisoner.  

 

"Um...Hi...Ok, so. I caught her breaking a pegasai's wing while they were both flying...the pegasus is ok but I think she needs to go to a mental institution or something...I don't think she is right in the head." She said, placing Mirror on the ground. "When she awakes she will feel very sick and she will be very dehydrated." Arrow spread her leafy wings and jumped into the air, then she flew in the direction on her apartment.

 

(OOC: Lets just say Arrow was wearing her costume... )
