I suppose I might be weird for saying this but I never really considered myself really a part of the fandom.  Sure I've been off and on many communities and websites but I never took any part in any of the major hubs (YouTube, deviantART, Equestria Daily, etc.).  Oddly enough I felt that conventions have a completely different feel that what I've had to navigate through on the internet....So I don't know...My odd ways of thinking are odd.

Nonetheless I will probably remain a part of this as much as I can, but I will say that things went terribly downhill summer of 2012.

If you can't accept a change that would make something not 100% perfect to you, then don't let the door hit you on the way out. That goes for anything.

Change is okay.  Changing the main character for no reason to take the show in a different direction all together is probably not okay.  I have been impressed with the writing so far so I'm going to try to have faith in them, but it's hard.

I personally like the fact that Twilight is becomeing a Alicorn. As much as people think the Mane 6 are all main characters, technically, atleast from my standpoint, Twilight Sparkle is the Main Main Character. She was sent to Ponyville, and if she never got sent, the friendship the mane 6 have might have never happened. (Though there is the fact that Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, and Fluttershy were friends before the first episodes events...)

My thoughts exactly. She's also well versed in magic and Equestrian history, which is expected from a princess.

Anyway, to answer the OP, I will be a brony for a while. Heck, the show has been over for almost two years now, yet I joined the forums two months ago! If that doesn't mean anything, I don't know what does! Plus, G5 is just around the corner and I'd imagine it'll be at least a decent epilogue to the show we all know and love.

I've been on this train for over four years, so I'm here for the long run. Even if I walk away from the fandom, I'll still love the show and what it represents.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Imagine voting for anything other than yes. *shivers*

Considering there’s still people even on these forums that are still here even after they didn’t like how the show ended at all, I wonder what good excuses  the people who did leave have?  Lol.
