I'd like to know if anyone know of good fanfics about wars between ponies and griffons. Can you direct me to them?

I really wanna know where this whole concept even started. It seems to be rather popular and it makes me wonder why it's become so wide-spread. Not that I dislike it! I'm genuinely just curious.

Ponies are herbivores and griffons are, supposedly, carnivores, or at least omnivores. And honestly, Gilda, the first impression we got from the griffons is not very good (She made Fluttershy cry, for Celestia's sake!)

 

I guess that being from different countries could be an excuse for them to go to war over some political stuff. Also, the Pegasus Tribe seemed almost like a military society because their representative to the summit was a military officer. They probably had to fight something. Griffons?

Griffons got opposable thumbs. And earth ponies and unicorns don't usually fly.

Well,in real-life mythology,griffins despise horses and hunt them quite a lot.There's a fanfic called Ace Combat:The Equestrian War,which explores the concept of war between ponies and griffins and is based on the video game of the same name.Google it up,you may like it.Speaking aside,i'd like to see an hippogriff in MLP
