Question about fan made ponies?

I understand a lot of fans make their own characters of their favorite shows as stuff. And every now and then, a TV company will actually add in a fan made character as an extra. (ex: in adventure time, The episode where try visited wild berry princess or whatever her name was. The cat that was trying to assassinate her was a fan max character sent in).

 

So, have any fan made ponies made cameo appearances in MLP? Sorry I don't know these things;p

I'm new to the forums and MLP in general

 

PS: sorry of I put this in the wrong section. Like I said, new to the forums so I'm still trying to find my way around everything! thanks!

I believe not, as we have distinct background ponies, which are already done being made. But like I said, I'm not sure. I've heard people say they were, but they were probably lying...

Funnily enough, while most shows have fan-made characters that become canon characters or background characters(like MeeMow and Fiona and Cake from Adventure Time), Friendship is Magic seems to work in reverse. We seem to take background characters and give them stories.

 

As for whether or not someone's OC has been on the show, no. Though, perhaps we'll see some in Season 4?

Then no, I suppose not. I haven't seen any anyway...maybe somepony else has? Er, the only known 'fan' character to make a cameo so far is Sibsy.

Well, that depends on what you mean with your question.

OCs have been put into the show. For example, Sabrina Alberghetti a.k.a Sibsy's "Wildfire"

Also, the name some already-in-show-ponies like Derpy Hooves, didn't have a name at first but when fans gave them names, it became their official names. No fanmade OCs have been put into the show as far as I know.
