Electro Dash checked the map one last time as she trekked to the everfree forest. It was a good place to camp apparently so long as you stayed within the 20 acres of land.

"have you got everything?" Dash's freind, Fire slayer asked.

"I told you. I'll be fine! its just camping!"

"Yeah but... have you got everything?"

"after you triple checked? Yeah i'm sure."

"fine." Fire slayer gave her a departing hug before going off. Electro Dash at on a nearby rock to wait for the rest to arrive

Shade packed her sattlebag and walked out the door of her house... She didn't feel like doing this but she wanted to be more active... And have more friends... Just as long as they don't get suspicious about her... But that feeling wasn't anything new to her...

 

So she made her way to the everfree forest... She sees another pony siting on a rock... She walks up and "you here for the camping?"

Gears double-checked his pack.

"Toothbrush... Check... Wrenches And other assorted tools...check... Leonard... Check."

Gears took a teddy bear from his pack and hugged it. He quickly stuffed it back in, knowing that this secret would make his reputation worse than it already was. He closed it and walked to the meet-up site. He saw a few others, and he waved.

Dreamwish took out her saddlebags.

 

"Okay, time to get my stuff. Food, water, paint gun, water gun, map, and I do NOT have my brush!" She said with a smile. She scribbled a note to her mom, threw it on her mothers face and ran out.

 

She trotted up to the camp site where there were a couple of ponies there. She sighed and sat down on a random log, arming herself her non-harmful paint gun.

Electro Dash looked up at the mare "well if by camping you mean going in there..." she pointed behind her, "then yes. I'm going camping." she put her hoof out. "i'm Electro Dash." She looked at the mare, she looked slightly suspicious. She also saw another pony waving and she waved back.

Dream noticed other ponies talking, and that she had gone unnoticed. She grinned and pointed her paint gun at Gears, preparing to fire. She liked a good prank, and she hoped these ponies liked pranking too. If they didn't, their loss. Pranks were the best thing to do while camping.

Gears smiled and trotted over.

"This must be the right place.",he thought."Wait..I'm the only colt here...erghhhh..okay, Gears, just play it cool..."

He walked over to the others and offered his hoof to shake.

"H-h-howdy, fellow c-c-campers... I'm G-g-gears..."

He gave a weak smile.

"You're stuttering!"he thought"I'm such an idiot..."

He the had the strange feeling he was being watched.

Electro Dash giggled at his embarresment and then pretended not to notice "hey there. my name is Electro Dash." she stuck her other hoof out. She then noticed Dream aiming a paintgun, but she didn't bother with stopping her. Because then her joke would be ruined.

Dream saw Electro look at her and notice her. Awesome, a witness!

 

She hit the trigger, and the paint splattered all over Gear's mane. She smiled and then hopped out of her hiding place.

 

"Hellllooo Everfree Forest! I'm Dreamwish, and if you wanna know, I hit you with the paint." She told Gears as she gave  him a noogie. "So, whad' you think? Was it funny?"

"Y-yeah I'm Gears-wait, I already said..well, it's a pleasure to meet you!"

He took her hand an took it lightly, and shook it.

His face turned a bright shade of red, hinting this is the farthest he's ever gotten with a mare.

"Ok, everything's good so far."he thought. Just then, his mane was sprayed with paint. Soon, he was being manhandled by some stranger.

"L-like it!? I-I..." He looked around at the others, and smiled weakly."I loved it." He twitched when he said"love" but things were going so well so far and he didn't want to ruin it.

ELectro Dash looked dissapointed when he shook his hand *well you cant always greet them how you want*. She also saw him blushing and slightly did so herself, untill. she looked at him bemused (im using big words ) "love? bit of an unusual word for being pranked. why not just. "funny"?

Thunder headed towards the campsite. He still wasn't really sure why he was doing this. It wasn't his kind of thing at all, but on the other hand, he could use somebody close that he could talk to, somebody who would understand him. If he was going to find someone, this was probably the best kind of environment to do it. 

 

A minute later he arrived at the campsite. He looked around at the others who had already arrived. Well, here goes nothing.

 

"Well, hey guys. I guess we'll be camping together."

"L-love? Did I say love I meant... Funny, yes funny. It was hilarious, yes, hilarious."

He twitched multiple times during that sentence, and blushed in embarrassment at his rambling. He looked over to his pack. He blinked when he saw it on the ground, the contents spread about. Leonard was in plain sight. He pushed Dreamwish away from him, grabbed Leonard, and stuffed him under his hat. He gave a weak smile and twitched. He looked over at Big.

"Finally, another colt." He thought in relieve. It took him 5 seconds to realize what he'd just lost.

"Another colt...."he thought in disappointment.

Dreamwish looked at the mess on the floor. A teddy bear caught her eye and she started laughing her head off.

 

"You carry a teddy bear? Heh, my little sis has one. They're annoying, but you look cool enough."

 

She waved at Thunder. Better be friendly, never know if they're vicious.

''Hey, guys! Wait up!'' Splinter said while plundering into the group. ''Ow, luck. It's limited..'' Splinter said while getting up. ''I forgot my gear.. Again. All I have is a rock, and a lunchbox filled with rocks.'' Splinter said while rolling his eyes. After a few minutes, he had noticed the prankster. ''Oh! The ol' paintball gun! I used to pull that on my friends all the time.'' Splinter said while grinning. ''Jeez, she's pretty messy. I like it!'' Splinter thought while hearts began to develop in his eyes. ''Cut it out, feelings! Oh, wait. That's the pain kicking in again.''

Electro Dash watched Gears shove asomething under his hat. A teddy? Electro Dash shook it away *yaknow, from this angle, he looks cute!* Electro Dash thought to herself.. Another Colt came over "yeah. You have to camp with all of us. Youve got all your stuff right? i havent seen any of yu with a tent yet,"

"Ah, buck tents." Dream said with a roll of her eyes. She found two trees that looked suitable, took out a hammock from her saddlebag and started setting it up. "Do it with hammocks, the old fashioned way. It's relaxing, you get to stay outside, and you have a decent place to sit while everyone else is freezing their flanks off around the campfire."

Gears smile dropped when Dreamwish started laughing.

"Well, there's another mare I'm never gonna get.... Another to the alread bulging list."he thought.

He looked over at Splinter.

"Another colt... Just my luck..."he thought

He sighed and looked over at Electro.

"Well, at least I still have one on my side..." He thought.

Gears smiled at her.

"T-t-thanks, Electro..."

He heard Dream go on about hammocks and remembered his automatic tent 9001.

He grabbed it and stuffed it and everything else in his pack.

Splinter said while thinking of the movie. ''Darn! Now I'm not gonna be able to sleep for a few weeks.'' Splinter said to himself while grunting.

"I don't need a tent or a hammock or anything. I'm fine just sleeping on the ground. I actually prefer it that way. When I camp, I try to bring as little as possible. It makes things more interesting."

 

Thunder set down what few things he had brought and sat down on a nearby rock.

 

"I guess I should probably introduce myself. I'm Big Thunder, but you can just call me Thunder."

''Nice to meet you, Thunder! My name is Splinter..'' Splinter said while smiling at Thunder. ''Now, what should we do next? Stories? Campfire? I'm up for anything.'' Splinter said while hitting his head on a tree. ''Did I mention I have the worst luck around? It's not something to brag about.'' Splinter said while stars spun over his head.

Dream raised an eyebrow at Splinter.
 
"Pffft. If that does happen i'll just buck them in the face. I've seen scarier." Dream lied, attempting to look cool. She took out a book called 'Daring Do and the Poison Whispered Kiss'. [Props if you know where I got the name from] And started reading. She was up to chapter ten.

 

"Ugh. Now they're getting really outta character." She told herself. [Props if you know where I got the over-dramatic chapter ten from.]

Firebolt galloped to the Everfree Forest, knowing she was late. And I probably forgot something too. She thought to herself. Seeing a lot of ponies around, Firebolt slowed down to a trot, as to not look bad, and waved at the other ponies just inside the forest.

Gears blinked.

"There you go, being an idiot again!" He thought "Seriously, Grind, step up your game!"

"Erm... Nothing, it was nothing." He looked over at splinter.

"Worst luck around, huh? Bet you've never been run out of anything or almos everything you've created go down in a fiery demise...."

Gears looked over in Firebolt's direction.

"Good, another chance in case I screw it up..." He thought. He waved back and turned to the others.

"Well, for those of you who don't know, I'm Grindin-" he stopped himself." Gears. I'm Gears. Certainly not Grinding or anything like that...."

He sincerely hoped no one found out about his 1st name.
