dead account 2,710 March 8, 2022 #26 Share March 8, 2022 The way I think about friendship changed with the years. For a long time I assumed that you will eventually find good friends and always be together. For some reason I assumed that friends are the magical answer to everything and that everything will be better afterwards. But that's actually not how it works. Life is still meant to be lived alone, at least for the most part. There is only so much time you can spend with friends. It's all about those little moments together. I learned to appreciate this little moments and treasure them. So friendship is all about those moments for me.
They call me Loyalty 1,948 March 8, 2022 #27 Share March 8, 2022 (edited) Friendship is the compromise to an ideal. It is similar to the concept of god and marriage. And why religious people are less likely to divorce. Because of these moral sets of beliefs. Which are ideals, basically. And because whenever you look past the ideal. You will find the mundane nature of humanity with some of the uglier aspects. Convenience, opportunism, falsehood, deceit, exploitation and everything else that derives from basic human instinct. And I am just sick of the reality of humanity. Especially, coming from a dysfunctional family where I was burdened with the problems of strangers way older than a child to be still such a ****ing mess. But I've seen people who were still an absolute piece of crap in their dying beds. So, maybe this is it. Maybe this is all there is to it. An ideal suspended over the entropic nature of reality. You know, that hunger gnawing at you under the clothes and the name you wear as yourself. That is what is called truth. Or maybe you can take the biblical approach and consider this material world the world of lies. Either way. That is why ideals are so important to me. Because when my family betrayed those ideals, they destroyed everything. And because they are all I have left. Ideals. ExplosionMare 18,062 March 8, 2022 #28 Share March 8, 2022 Friendship is having a genuine and personal bond with another person as well as the ability to enjoy activities with one another or just enjoying one another’s company. A good friend is someone you can laugh with but also cry with, and someone who you are comfortable being loud with and comfortable being quite around. 3 Boom! Splashee 28,564 March 8, 2022 #29 Share March 8, 2022 Friendship is anything that isn't hatred between two or more people. It can be anything to just being friendly or nice, to sharing and enjoying moments. I have many ex-friends, so don't ask me

You become friends with people because they have meaning to you. 1 On 2024-03-28 at 3:49 PM, Props Valroa said: because the US flag is the ultimate pride flag Expand
Sparklefan1234 170,755 March 8, 2022 #31 Share March 8, 2022 (edited) To me, friendship is having someone who is there for you no matter how you're feeling. Someone to share the happy, sad and in-between moments with. Edited March 8, 2022 by Sparklefan1234
MaxAnim 41 March 9, 2022 #32 Share March 9, 2022 If I’m being honest, I don’t know since I’m not that social and besides the term friendship is subjective.
