My First Vinyl Scratch Sketch

Ok fillies and gentelcolts. this is my first attempt at vinyl scratch and my first try at a "headshot" and also my first try at shading. i drew this from a reference as i have not gotten good enough to pull it off from memory. but i digress. how did i do, for a while there she was starting to look like trixie.

Wow thanks guys and gal's! Beleive it or not this is onlyy 3/4th real try at this. I was inspired by some of the artist on here to try harder and not give up.

Wow really nice work.. I love how her eyes are... Now im not much into criticizing other people's work.. and overall this looks really nice.. The only thing that might possible have gone better here, was her neck... But due too Vinyl's awesomeness, you don't even notice it. If this is your art style then i can't wait too see more from you... You have talent.. Also, there is nothing wrong with using references... i do so all the time, i can do it without it.. But i often use references too.. just because it's more comfortable, it helps you avoid mistakes. Like making the head the right size.. Just some things like that. And other details, you might forget.. Anyway.. This looks real nice, good work..
