OH YEA...I forgot about that.

The ship is called...*Drum roll* The Vermilion Sky.

And I am still not 100% sure about the weather machine...it was met with mixed results so I may change its special ability...I'll let you know if Dusk and I come up with something new.

Everyone's assigned, and as far as I know captains are all allocated. 

We can assign specialties in the RP can't we? Maybe acquire them in the RP itself? 

 

Also, we changed ours a little, but i'll let Flame Dancer explain it, he's better with words that I am...

Medium sized ship with...

an adjustable lightning rod on the front (Adjustable meaning it can be pointed at a 90 degree angle in all directions)

 

24 (average) cannons in total, all around the ship, 6 on the top row and 6 on the bottom row...on either side of the ship.

 

Then disposable armor that can withstand a couple shots and when its had enough it gets sprung off the side of the ship leaving the actual hull of the ship in almost perfect condition, anything close by when the armor is being shot off will be hit and possibly damaged...

Also...a suggestion.

Lets say when a ship is attacked and the engines stop working. there is a back up engine that goes on for a few minutes to keep the ship in the air as long as possible...so if we break a ships engine we wont have to worry about all our booty falling to the earth below.

Or maybe...each ship could have a grappling hook type thing and it can be shot at a ship to catch it before it falls...and then we could just cut the rope and send it crashing to the earth below...

That's...a good point actually. We've not actually discussed how the ships stay afloat yet. 

Is it by magic? Or do we use engines? Then there's the blimp style ships...

We totally scrapped the idea of a weather machine. No sonic boom generator or fog machines, just a lightning rod at the front. 

Then we have average cannons along the sides. People started crying about our previous ideas, so we decided to make them at least more suitable to other people's tastes.

There is one person besides your two characters on the third ship, but I get the feeling he's not coming back. Whether or not there will be first mates is up to the individual captain. I might move some other people around too, but I'll switch you to the second ship, which has been named The Vermillion Sky.

No there aren't any ex-pirate players, although if anybody wanted to be one they could.

He's more into the whole...enforcing the orders given to others type thing. And like Alex said earlier on, there can always be a mutiny (not that im suggesting it!) if you're not happy with the current captain.

I will do that right now. And I like the name Equilibrium...I love that word.

 

Also I want to warn you guys again. Diamonds OC page thing may make her sound sweet and lovable...She is going to be very different in this RP.

As an example, I was using her in the last RP and she dragged another pony down the stairs to the brig just because the pony didn't tell her a little something...so she is quite tough...the kind of tough where she wears a trench coat...but she lets the Arms of the coat just hang down by her sides...

Also, to clarify, my ship (The Rake) isn't named after a garden instrument. It's short for hellrake, which is an old slang term for someone with loose morals.

Hmm, I think I'll make a new OC for this. I only have a few really fleshed out ones.

May I be put down as a reserve for the time being? If I don't make a new one soon I'll just use Dyn/Fenyw or Raindancer.

 

Question as well: could I use two characters? My idea come as a sort of ordered pair. Originally it was a group of four but that seems excessive. :x

Sure I'll join in with Storm Fire again I did enjoy the other pirate one until it well kinda sunk to the depths of the sea. Hah see what I did there? Anyway same weapons as before his twin Kodachi swords but I'll add two new parts he'll also carry small kunai and shuriken that are usually dipped in poison since he's gonna have a thief style background for this. Oh and he'll have the same clothing get up as Cloud did from Final Fantasy: Advent Children I really have been wanting to strap him with that for this lol.

If you get more people you can be captain, otherwise you'll have to move to a different ship. Sorry about that.
