"Everything is going to be just fine!"... or is it?

Yeah I think that there is certainly a sense of foreshadowing for the beginning of season 4, there's a lot pointing to something probably going pear shaped in the first two episodes.

 

Think about it, the episode started with Twilight singing about everything going to be just fine and then suddenly she's cut short by a massive problem that she has to find a solution to.

 

I'm really intrigued by the beginning of season 4 now, there's a fair few questions left unanswered and we all want to know how Twilight now being an Alicorn is going to effect how to show works.

"Everything is going to be fine..." means to me as

 

"Yea we know we barfed up some crap. Corporate needed to sell more toys! But please please go easy on us and give us another chance in Season 4."

Princess Celestia turns into Supernova Eternal, corrupted by a mysterious force of darkness that hides its' refuge in the Everfree Forest. Princess Sparkle now must take on her teacher with the assistance of her five friends and Princess Luna. But with the royal guards brainwashed to Supernova's side, they are still not quite enough. The purple alicorn now must seek the assistance of Discord, the Spirit of Chaos, to assist them in dethroning the Tyrannical Queen of the Sun, while attempting to locate the strange source of Celestia's corruption. With a curious suspicion that this ancient darkness was also responsible for Luna's corruption long ago, Princess Sparkle fears that everything -won't- be so fine, after all.

I'm very curious, as well. Obviously, the premiere should be one of the first things we begin to hear about as S4 approaches months down the line.

I will like to see that in season 4. Very amazing. Hmm. That evil Celestia sounds familiar though. Ah yes. She's always evil in any grim dark fanfic I've ever read. -_-

 

Still, that sounds like a good story line.

 

By the way, I like the finale. Especially that Celestia's song. Really made my day!

I got some friends that complained about it. They said it was like the show was mocking them, I honestly paid no attention to it at first, I was still crying about how they got rid of Flat Hair Pinkie ;-;

Well that line was a bit off in my opinion. What did that line mean at all? There was no impending danger after Twilight became a princess. I mean this was a perfect time to do this...

It is obviously a message to bronies that have expressed concerns to this change, I have made no secret that I don't like this and the finale did not reasure me at all but the good news is that there is still a chance everything could turn out alright after all it all depends on how much further interference there will be from Hasbro if Hasbro lets the writers do what they do best than I have full confidence that everything really will be all right. The problem of course is that it is way too soon to tell one way or the other if everything really will be alright making this as a fan the most agonizing wait for a season premier in any show I have ever watched in history.

Yeah I'm fine..

 

Not how I would've liked it to happen, but thing is, in shows characters change, and as fans we have to learn to embrace the change.

 

Sure she's an Alicorn now, but she's still Twilight, she'll still be an adorkable character, now she's just a royal adorkable character.
