I recently decided that the picture I posted a little while ago didn't look "complete so I added a background, a reflecting puddle and another pony in the background to help with the emptiness.

I would like some criticism so I may improve seeing as I still consider myself a novice.

I like the concept.  The photo/scan is pretty blurry, though.  Also, what's the significance of the guy in the background?  He seems to be glaring at the 4th wall.

I definitely think it's a good start. I feel like the guy at the top of the picture and the girl are part of two entirely different pictures though.

 

Just seems awkward that she's reflecting right there in the middle of the street is what I mean.

Thanks and yeah my camera isn't of the best quality. I'm working on getting a new one so I can upload clearer images. The guy in the background is actually just a passer by to represent how no one will give the time to help her. he's actually looking back at her. but once again my camera won't let me show small details.

 

I would have used a ruler for the dumpster and sidewalk. That and the mares leg looks a little short, but otherwise I would like to see more

I'm a little embarrassed if that looks like a dumpster,   That's actually a side-shot of her face in a shadowy form but I agree with you on the sidewalk, It definetly could have been done better.

Fantastic, as always.You did a great job with completing the picture with a background and everything. It really captures the feeling of the original drawing even more. You did a particularly good job on the background pony, although the tail could be improved, particularlywhere it attaches to his body.
