private The War on PACE: after the war (SoL)

He unlocks the door using his sonic screwdriver "Do you all have ear plugs in?" he looks around as he heads to the way of the door as guards came out and Hank activates the sonic screwdrivers and the ear screeching sound happens and the guards fell to the ground. Hank stops it and kept running

" GO GO GO!" JT yells, knowing which way to go. "follow me, I know where we are."" he leads the group to a room full of tanks. "good, hypertanks! everyone get in!"

 

Rocket jumps in and looks around, "what the hell is a hypertank?"

 

JT explains, "a hypertank is a fastmoving tank, its faster than the jeep we got here in, Everyone ready?"

Hank nods as he climbed on one that JT is driving " i can make this go faster with the sonic screwdriver." he smiles "should i do it?" he thinks and looks around "i will open the main door, just tell me when" he smiles and waits as he looks around the area making sure no guards are there

Blackshard settles in, eyes wide and heart pounding with adrenaline. She scans their surroundings, also on the lookout for any and all guards. Celestia, she hoped these hypertanks would work. Every second that ticked by made her more and more nervous.

Rocket got on the gun and started firing, "now would be awesome if we could go."

 

JT nodded and punched the throttle down. Luckily it was a straight shot to the gate, and there were no people out, they all made it out without to many issues. all they heard were alarms in the background. "Damn guys, that was close. ill try to make sure that doesn't happen again." JT says, a defeated look on his face.

Hank sighs "its ok Jt, really, we all make mistakes, mine was using the screwdriver, i could have had that hidden." he sighs "how far are we going?" he sighs and waits as he looks at the ground "i am really sorry for what happened..  i should have paid more attention."

"its alright, im just glad no one died. anyways we will go about halfway in the tanks, then we will have to ditch them. all PACE vehicles have trackers. I hope you guys are up for a walk."

 

Rocket steps down from the turret and punches the wall of the tank. "DAMNIT we were right there!"

"It's all or nothing." Blackshard speaks out, "We're either all to blame or none of us are. We're on the same side, we share the burden. It's the way things are in a war."

She looks up, half exasperated, half releived.

"Anyways, were ok now so stop worrying" she adds gently.

Hank looks at Rocket "yes we were! but it was risky! It was lucky we made it out alive.. And i will disable this vehicle once we stop ok? so of course we will have to walk. But i am guessing we will walk, a lot of miles?" he sighs and looks around "i think now is a good place.."

Jt nods his head, "yea. maybe the other group was setting up a rescue mission, so they will have a convoy heading our way." hes says with optimism.

 

Rcoket nods, "I know, I just... I want to get revenge for what they did to sam!" he smiles, "at least its a nice night to walk. its been weird with weather because the Pegasus cant control it safely in these aeras."

JT ad rocket agree, they begin walking and rocket pulls out his radio, JT stops him, "we have to keep off the radio for a while, if PACE caught us, im sure they can hea into our convorsations. so lets keep radio chatter quiet for a while. sound good to you guys?"

Rocket asks a question to JT, "you never said where you were from."

 

JT immediately answered, "I came from a small town in Washington. its a state in America on earth."

 

Rocket nods his head, "where are you from, Hank?"

Rocket smiles, im from a small town northwest of Cloudesdale. befor the war I was kind of a drifter." rocket looks to the ground and thinks of his parents and his past life.

She'd never been away from Whiteshard this long. With a quiet sigh she stifled her homesickness. She'd write a letter when they got back...

JT stepped back to talk to blackshard, "everything alright?" he could tell something was on blackshards  mind. he looked up to the sky and saw the big dipper, "heh, you can see the big dipper from earth too. I guess the universe isn't as big as we thought" he chuckled to himself

JT smiled too, "its weird, knowing I left my friends and family behind to fight against my own kind." he thought about earth life and how different the life is here than it is on earth, but he also knew why he was fighting.

Jt cotinued walking and decided that they were far enough he radioed to the base, "can I get a pickup? We are about 5 miles out of ponyville, and we have been walking for a long time. It would be greatly appreciated."

 

Rocket sighed, "thank celestia! Finally!"
