Rainbow's Parents: The Truth

So this is the fic that I am putting 99% of my energy and creative resources into. This story basically tells about RD's childhood and her parents part, or lack thereof, in it. So I'm just gonna leave this here and see what happens...

I think it would be better if you didn't name it 'THE TRUTH'

 

because it's not. 

It's fanon. 

 

Just my suggestion. 

 

Perhaps you could name it something a little more creative? I haven't read it, because it's long, and I don't have time for that. 

 

but a quick suggestion based on my assumption of what it contains would be something akin to 'The Grayscale rainbow'

Well it's being told by Rainbow Dash. She's the one narrating the story which is why I chose that name over the others that I had

Well the title of a story can determine whether one reads it or not. I know that I didn't read Catcher in the Rye because of the title. The title told me I was going to hate it. I ended up hating it, but the same goes for the Hunger Games. I didn't read it because I thought the title was bad, but I read it because a friend told me to and ended up loving it. Titles are big for books, IMO

This sounds like an intriguing story and I will read it very soon.  But I want to be sure I'm approaching it with the right frame of mind.  Is this fan fiction compatible with the flashback in Games Ponies Play?  We saw Dashie with what appeared to be a doting father.  That doesn't necessarily mean he was.  It's not possible to jump to any great conclusions based on a brief moment in time.  Just wondering about that.

No. I started writing it before we saw that episode so not everything is really compatible. Usually, I try to keep things canon, but the episode kind of screwed me over after I watched it. And actually, it is possible for it to still be possible with what happens. We don't know how old she was in that flashback. (And now I'm just talking to talk :/ )
