Demence stared at the hollow stone cube. He loved this time of year. It was the best time. Soon, ten new ponies would be randomly chosen to survival in the concrete hell, and he could do anything to manipulate the box. He moved his hoof upwards and a staircase formed outside the box. He climbed the stairs and entered a door up top into his 'office'. From in this room, he could see all of the cube. He wished it was safer though. The only escape from the box was a door on the roof, leading straight to the office. And, once they discovered it was he who had put them in such danger, they would undoubtably kill him. Nevertheless, he had a job to do. Using his zebra magic, he scanned Equestria, picking pony after pony to enter the box. Then, at the clap of his hooves, they were in the box. He leaned towards a magic-powered microphone and said a few words. These words echoed through the box as Everypony woke up.

 

"Welcome... To the games."

 

(OOC: Okay guys, here is how it will work. You are all trapped in this room. It is magic proof and the door on the roof is locked, so no, pegasi can't just break out. You have now woken up in the box with no idea what just happened. And no, no-pony will know what the box is. It isn't a public event.)

Max, awakening to find himself trapped in what appears to be a large concrete room, was gripped in confusion. He looked around, and all he saw were nine other ponies and what appears to be a door on the roof. He flew up to the door to try and open it. No use, it was locked.

"What is this?" he muttered to himself. He flew around the box to see if there was any other way out. Nothing. Unable to find an escape, he flew back over to the others, still passed out, and waited to see what would happen.

Azura opened her eyes and found herself within a dome. She saw a pegasus flying up and trying to escape but failed. "How in the hoof did I end up here? No matter, I'll find a way out of here soon." she murmured under her breath as she looked around. She saw nine other ponies including the pegasus. "I hope they're friendly.." she thought.

Noticing that one of the ponies has awakened, Max flew over to greet this unknown pony. As he got closer, he noticed it to be an earth pony.

"Glad to see one of you is up." Max stated as he approached the unknown pony. He glanced over to see everypony still out, but nobody seemed to be harmed.

"My name is Max."

 

(OOC: Just saw we shouldn't get to far ahead, so I'm going to catch some sleep, and check back in the morning.)

The pegasus approached her and introduced himself. "Hello there Max, my name's Azura, nice to meet you." she replied. "Maybe we should stick around here until the other ponies wake up." she said as she went over to the unconscious ponies and sat right beside them, waiting.

 

(OOC: Don't worry, we'll wait for the others to post.)

[Krimson Dawn 17]

Krimson felt, odd as he stretched upon awakening. He back was sore, an he clearly... wasn't in his bed? He glanced around the room, investigating it, taking note of every detail he thought would be worth it later. All he could tell was that it was a prison. Using his magic, his eyes and horn glowed a golden aura, a spell he called the Lens of Truth. "Real. Not good." he mumbled to himself, his spell revealing no more than he already knew.

 

The whispered words rang through his ears, "Welcome to the Games? Games?" he pondered on that word an what meanings could lie behind it. He cautiously stepped over the other sleeping ponies to make his introduction. He looked between the two, lowering his head, "I'm Krimson. I would be very happy to meet you too in better circumstances," he raised his head back to them with a mild grin.

"Why hello there Krimson, nice to meet you. Do you have any idea how in the hoof we ended up here? Cuz I don't. Maybe we should stick together and wait for the others to wake up from their nap." she replied him with a smile on her face. Azura let out a huge sigh as she continued sitting around, waiting for the others to wake up.

Diego was the next to wake him. He sprang to his hooves, immediately suspecting the ponies who were awake. "Did you put me in here?" he growled at the nearest pony, an earth pony. "If you did, you will regret it."

 

The unicorn tried to use his magic to blast a hole in the wall; it failed. Something was stopping the magic from working. Diego pawed with a fore hoof in fury.

Another pony woke up, and he was rather suspiscious at the ponies who have woken up before him. "Woah there, calm down. We're friendly.." she told the pony, backing up a few steps just to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. "Anyway, My name's Azura, nice to meet you.." she said.

Azure Flames woke up and look around nervously he didn't know where he was 

 

it was some kind of room he guessed then he saw another unicorn try to use magic on the walls, nothing

 

he saw that there were others pony here aside from the him and the unicorn he just saw

 

he walked over to them 

 

"hi"

 

then just stood there silently with a sad expression on this face 

 

(OOC: snap gonna have to pay attention "Azure" and "Azura" somewhat dyslectic and typing Azure Flames everytime will be a pain for me)

Another pony woke up, not knowing where he was and looking rather nervous. He walked towards the ponies who were awake and said nothing else but Hi. Azura was confused why this pony looked so sad, but she wasn't curious enough to ask. "Hey there, what's your name?" she asked softly.

 

(OOC: True. Somepony might get it mixed up.)

Diego was still suspicious, but cuz the other pony wasn't being hostile, he calmed down a little. "My name's Diego," he replied. "I don't know how I got here; one moment I was at a bar, the next, I blacked out and I woke up here. When I find who's responsible, they're going to be so dead."

"The pony who placed us here wouldn't be that stupid to put himself at risk, especially against ten ponies. Lets just hope none of us get killed while trying to get out of this dome." she replied Diego. She looked around and started wondering off to explore the place a bit within range.

 

(OOC: I'm starting to wonder what's around us? Nothing except flat stone land and some light shining through the windows? Is it a room-by-room layout or an open area like a massive stone box?)

after she finished talking to the other unicorn, Azure saw her start to wonder off and look around

Krimson examined the others as they had awoken. "Half so far" he thought. He nodded to the newly awoken, a sufficient introduction unless they cared.

 

He headed with Azura, she seemed to be the most active of the little party. "This is definitely not somewhere I would opt to take a vacation to," he tried to start conversation, casting his spell again.

As more ponies awakened, Max found himself pondering how and why they were brought here. Who did this? Why would he do this? These were all questions he didn't have the answer to. This place was clearly protected by magic, considering the walls were blast proof to any form of magic.

"Well, at least you aren't in this alone" Max thought to himself.

"Lets just hope nopony begins any hostilities. We need to stick together."

Demence scanned the arena. Five had already awoken. He brought the magical microphone towards him again. "Half awoken, half to rest. Half could never complete the test." He cackled, his voice echoing throughout the oversized stone cube. He had to wait for everypony to be awake before he could actually start the games, but already ponies were thinking of ways to escape. Maybe he could... start early? No. That would be unheard of.

Diego snorted with anger when he heard the voice, and more so after he heard what it had to say. But he knew one thing; namely, that this was a pony's voice and one just like the rest of them.

 

They might have magic, and the power to imprison other ponies, but they had better hope they kept out of sight, Diego thought to himself.

 

Meanwhile, there were the other ponies with him. Some might be useful allies, the others... well, there was bound to be one or two dead weights.

"Half awoken, half to rest. Half could never complete the test." A mysterious voice rang across the room.

"Who was that?" Max pondered

"That might be the pony who trapped us in here. Seems like he has something planed for us. He might not wait for the other 5 to wake up. If he moves on without them..." Max shuttered to think what might become of the other 5 in that scenario. He hoped they would wake up soon. There time is running out.

[Mushy Giant Friend 206]

As Moon Dust awake, she gazed sleepily at her surroundings and widened her eyes.

"Who the hay  are you guys, where am I?!" She yelled, glaring at all of the other ponies around her. She was even MORE grumpy than usual when she wakes up normally.

"Who brought me here?!" She pointed an accusing hoof at Azura, "It was YOU wasn't it?! Let me out!" She growled, glaring at everyone around her.

"Calm down, we're just as confused as you are" Max attempted to calm the panicked Pegasus.

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Max. We were all trapped here by...somepony. He has talked over a megaphone but that's about all I can say on him. We are just waiting for the others to wake up at this point."

Azure Flames hear the voice resonating from all direction in the room

Azure Flames didn't like this new one who had awoken she was giving everyone a mean looking

 

he hope the 4 last pony will wake soon he didn't want anything bad to happen to them

Diego gave the pegasus who had just awoken a glare. "Quit your shouting," he said. "None of us has anything to do with this. It's the pony who just spoke thru a megaphone who brought us here. Since we may have to spend a long while in each other's company, it's probably best we don't start fighting among ourselves."

[Budding Night 1,043]

Solar Sunset was trying to run down a hallway with the darkness chasing her, Her legs got weaker as the hallway narrowed; When she couldn't take it anymore, She collasped on the floor and turned around, The Darkness had the face of a Pony with slit eyes and sharp teeth, Her scream echoed the hallway as the face came down and consumed her..

 

Solar Sunset sleeply dragged open her heavy eyelids, She only saw a cold, hard, thick concrete connecting to a floor of the same, There were voices echoing the room, She shakily stood up and backed into a corner. Solar didn't like this concrete room, she didn't like being with other ponies, Especially when it was.. No, She couldn't go there yet, Instead, She went over and tapped a green pegasus-stallion on the shoulder "Um, Exsuse me sir, But where are we?" she spoke with a slight whimper as her long, dirty blond mane covered her face, She didn't much like other ponies, Especially when they where in a strange concrete room.

 

( By the way, The First bit is her dream )

"Wait, so I have to spend however long in this lame place with these losers? Well, this is going to be SO fun, isn't it." Moon Dust muttered, returning the glare Diego sent her way. She had a better look at the room, thinking she may have missed something, but it was just a concrete empty room. She groaned and slumped down on the floor and started to sulk. She didn't like this place at all, and the ponies inside weren't fun to talk to at all.
