My First Plushie: Princess Luna

I used minky for the eyes, i thought about using felt but it felt too coarse. And i already had some of the colors for the eyes in minky. It might not have been the best solution i could have gone for but it was the most convenient at the time. Cutie mark and regalia are also minky btw

Regardless, great work on this, Sentinel, I've said it before, but I think it's awesome to see someone putting a plushie together and seeing the process, both the good parts and the trials and tribulations that you must face.

Sadly i've not had the chance to finish her. The last month has been very busy and it looks like its only going to get busier in the comming months. For the moment she is on hold and any future plans for plushies are as good as canceled for the forseeable future. At least till thing quiet down.

 

All thats left on her is the hair though which sadly is also the trickyest part.

Likewise, and interesting!  It looks like the silky fabric you have there will shine pretty well on its own, but are you planning to add any sparkles to it for the star-twinkling effect she usually has?  Just curious.

 

Really looking forward to seeing the finished product.  Also, are you still entertaining the thought of doing commissions?  I'm not that big a collector of MLP merchandise, but I would seriously consider paying real money for something of the quality of your Luna here.

Yes i am going to add something along the lines of small glittery gems or something i dunno yet. 

 

and yes i am also planning to start doing commisions but first i will want to finish Luna, after that we'll see.

Looking forward to seeing how the final product turns out. The mane looks pretty good so far!

 

I think some glittery stuff in the mane would be cool as well, but I'm not sure of how exactly to go about it. I'll leave that detail up to you!

I have not seen many fan-made plushies so far, but compared to Hasbro marchandises, I must say that this is very well made.

Looks pretty good, but I'm guessing we'll get to see it from the other side so that it looks a bit more natural. Seeing that side of Luna... well, here mane definitely steals the show!
