My Little Pony Abridged Series (ACTORS NEEDED!)

Hello Everyone,
As you can tell by the title this an auditioning thread! Me (Frozen Mint) and Moon Dust are making an Abridged series of MLP FIM and it is going to be amazing! We need loads of helpful bronies to help us make this happen. We will make a new youtube user for it too for the episodes. Also we need a series name if you would like to think of one! But now to the cool bit, the Ponies taken or not... Here they are!

They are the ponies but what are they like? Well this is what they are like and how they speak and such

Twilight - She is really OCD and she needs to be quite posh, but she is very innocent, in a way...
Rainbow - She gets mixed up with realty and real life, she has a very wild imagination...
Pinkie - She is really insane but in a clever way...
Aj - SHE WANTS TO BE A FOLK SINGER!
Fluttershy - French or British and pretty much gets bullied by everyone...
Rarity - Very very manly
Spike - A very geeky assistant maybe voiced as if he has braces (Like twist but a man)
Apple bloom - A very sit at the front of the class type of girl, until she got dumped by her clever friend
Sweetie Bell - A very high pitched pony but tries to act manly
Scootaloo - A stunt pony at heart put very dumb
Celestia - She is a troll and her face keeps poping up as memes, she has a very clear voice
Luna - Same as Celestia but mostly forever alone..
Trixie - Twilights old best friend until she got drunk never turned back...
Gilda - Secretly loves Rainbow in the past, until she thinks Pinkie loves Rainbow...
Zecora - A want to be rapper
Mayor mare - Very self indulgent, and loves her self..
Cheerlie - Thinks that her class are a zoo, and her self as her past lif as a lion tamer.
Diamond Tiara - Very fat
Silver Spoon - Tries to be fat..
Twist - Very clever and dumps Apple Bloom for being apparently dumb..

We also would like writers to help me and Moon Dust with the script, so just give us proof of you work by a task I will PM you!

We also would love every Pony to be able to sing, if you cannot sing we can walk around that but it would be easier if you can! (It doesn't have to be good just as long if you can sing a note!)

 

EDIT -If you have impressed me you will get a PM say 'COMPLETED AUDITIONS' this is where you re-post your auditions and my co-workers will have a look at your audition and say if you have passed. If you have passed you will get a PM saying 'CONGRATULATIONS' it will have your first script on (But this may take a while because scripts are being made)

Sweetie Bell - YES I LIKE MUD!
Scootaloo - There is no sign of danger on this cliff..
Celestia - Well I sent her to the moon laughed for 1000 years then let her down again...
Luna - Hey hey don't ignore me.... Forever alone...
Trixie - I am not drunk, oh this ugh alcohol its apple juice...
Gilda - Well someones going to have to love someone as silly as that...
Zecora - Yeah yeah, Applebloom think that you can sing a tune, don't turn back, don't let yourself dry on a rack.. never mind I giver up...
Mayor mare - Yes its me, me yes you can stop now, yes yes, STOP CLAPPING NOW!!
Cheerlie - The best way to tame a lion is give it homework, or just hit it with a stick
Silver spoon - Can I have some Diamond??


Our musical director is Electra, she will be making music so if you are picked as a main character she will PM the song, lyrics and stuff like that

The main people in this are Frozen Mint, Moon Dust and Electra so feel free to PM us about the matter!

Quick question do you want VAs to be the same gender of the ponies because cause I have some Ideas in my head for some voices? Also, I love singing and am willing to sing for multiple characters.

I am wondering the same thing as Masterchaos. I see Rarity has to be manly, so I could probably voice her, or Spike. What about Big Mac though? He's extremely important and Eeyups keep the whole show held together. I could voice him too.

 

Oh, and I can sing very well, so you wouldn't have to worry about that.

Uh...well, shoot, might as well.

 

I have a fairly deep voice, but I can get it high up and do a variety of voices/sounds. I really just need recording software (which shouldn't be terribly hard to attain). I don't know exactly what you're looking for for each character, so if I sound like I would fit somepony then let me know.

 

If my VA ends up sucking (which it might, but eh, practice is practice!  ), if there is anything else you need I can try to help.

I will pick spike! He seems like my type of person. I wear braces and I'm geeky! How do I audition though? Should I try to sound like the spike from the show, or should I try to sound like a guy wearing braces?

I wish I had some form of actual talent for voice acting, It always sounded like fun Xd. However I don't really have any talent for the sort of thing, and its even harder for me to voice most of the ponies as I'm a guy and stuff .

 

Besides I'm a closet brony and idk I just think my parents would be weirded out to have me doing random voices in my room, I can't imagine i'd be able to get much time to voice act anyways. Even harder in an MLP abridged.

 

I can't even think of anything to name the series, I'm terrible and totally unclever with names, so I really don't think I should even try .

 

I'm really of like no help am I Xd.

 

Oh well, I guess I can give moral support by wishing you and everyone a good luck, I'm always excited to see a new fan series for MLP so I'll certainly watch it whenever it's finished! I love watching this type of stuff, so yeah hopefully its good and can give me something to do aswell at times  .

Hmmm deep voice really would like to see you fit Rarity! That would be swell! Also it is good practice, Rainbow dash can be done with a deep voice, you can use microsoft movie maker if you had that!

All you have to do is record you self saying some lines off spike. If you want to audition would be fine, try and audition sounding like your a nerd type person wearing braces if you can

Wow first audition and its really good, I loved your Rainbow but your Spike was amazing so you now have the part of Spike! The only thing is if you could add a bit more brace but other wise perfect! So hello new spike!!!

Hmm, I guess I could try for Twilight, or maybe Fluttershy since I'm Scottish (you said British, so I'm really hoping you meant to say "anyone from Scotland, England or Wales" and not "Super-over-the-top-English-accent" as some people seem to think is a British accent (hint: There's no such thing as a British accent) although you want over-the-top English I can do that for Twi or Fluttershy, it'll just sound a little haughty - hey, maybe that could work for Mayor Mare?). 

 

Of course, my Higher exams are coming up soon so I might only have time for a background character, in which case I think your Cheerilee character sounds great! Or, like I said, Mayor Mare.

Wow I would love you to audition the parts that are taken are Applejack and Diamond Tiara but other wise go for all the rest. The lines I would like to say for the ponies would be.

Yes that's accent sounds about right! And fluttershy does not really matter, I would like to see either they are both really clever idea's

I could try my hand at throwing my voice as Applejack and Applebloom. I feel that I can imitate character voices really well since I can hit some pretty good high notes for a guy that is lolz. If you're ok with it please let me know and I can have a submission set in the next day or two if you can hold the spots for me since my work schedule is really wacky.

Ok well at least I get a chance to try out for applebloom. I may end up trying out for another later if I can do a good enough voice match to one of the other ponies but for now Applebloom will be making an audition in the next day or two and thanks for giving me a shot at this.
