So, we got any Chess playing Bronies on here? I am a bit of a chess nut (I used to play competitively in grade school and was once ranked 20th for U-18 in Washington State. Haha but that was a LONG time ago) I always love meeting people who share my passion for the medieval game of strategy.

I really liked playing chess too, but it's been a while since I played regularly. Love the game, though, but I have no idea how good I would be now. I'd probably get smoked by people who've been playing recently. XD

I used to play chess all the time with my dad. It started out with him beating me all the time. All of that changed on one family trip. We brought the chess set up just so we can have something to do when we were bored. I will always remember that day when I beat my dad for the very first time.

I like chessI figured out a good way for me to winatchess is think of it like command and conquer or a strategy game. It helps me quite a bit if i visulize my enemies.

I know how to play chess. I'm just terrible at it. I always play my strategy games on casual difficulty. It's not that I can't think.. It's that I'm a terrible strategist. Good with knowledge. Bad with calculations.

Awww man, I love playing chess even though for the most part it's a nerd only game! I don't play it all that often because most people I know just don't know how to play, but when I do it's a blast!

I like playing chess too.Me and my high school teacher(Mr.Lane) back in florida used to play it whenever we got the chance.He would even put the game on hold when we had to stop.We were pretty close friends and the other kids would call us gay just cause we had each others backs.

I like playing chess (even though I'm not really that good at it). Me and a couple of my cousins used to play chess before, and I always had a lot of fun. Some people call in my school call it "nerdy", but I call it AWESOME.

I played chess and I apparently had quite a talent for it but...I was never really interested in it, I preferred circus stuff over chess. That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it though. I still quite liked playing it I just didn't like the super duper competitive side, it is a fun game to play with a friend though.

I for one love a good game of chess, since I was a kid I have just loved chess. Been a few year's since I got my old set out, funny thing is me and some friends from WA are working on making are own MLP Chess set going to make it all out of wood. Going to be a lot of work but hot damn it's going to look great once it's done.

I am definitely not great at chess, but i can hold my own at least. Though I used to be awful until I read some basics about it, although I can only really utilize the basic classical strategy.
