Cloud looked away and closed his eyes, "Well... I hope that when your element is removed, you will be able to live the life of normalcy, one that will allow you to age naturally... I dont exactly know why Nidal, but I really have come to care for you... perhaps a little more than I should, I wouldnt want to see your life end before you even got to live it..." Cloud kept his eyes closed as he lowered his head, waiting for her reaction, he wasnt sure how she felt, but he was certain she did not return the feeling...

Nidal sat down and began to think. He had just confessed how he felt about her, but how did she feel about him? She kept wondering for a full minute before getting up and walking up to him. She put a hoof under his head and rose it back to normal height, so that if he opened his eyes, he'd see her. She didn't speak and instead gave him a quick hug before flapping her wings once, sending her away from him and into the sky, and flying up and away. She'd need more time to think about it before she was sure, this was a strange feeling, after all, but she currently thought she might actually like him.

 

((This is not stalling for time to choose OOC. I already know what it'll be, but she's unsure.))

Cloud felt her raise his head, and was opened his eyes to look at her, he was taken by surprise when she hugged him, and could only sit there dumbfounded as she flew away. A small smile appeared on the corners of his lips, Maybe... just maybe... there is something there, he thought to himself. He sighed again, getting up, he began to walk back to the others, taking the time to enjoy the quiet.

Personality(because I felt like it lol) : Generally shy towards other ponies at first, but over time opens up to those he's around.

Description: ((I will edit the only manticore shown so far into the colors that I see him with. Until then, just imagine the normal MLP one.))

Personality: Hate. He hates everything and does not allow himself to get to know anyone. He knows that knowing someone makes them a lot harder to kill.

Element: Hatred.

Weapon of Choice: Twin short blades that come out of his front paws.

 

Name: Crystal Seal

Age: 16

Species: Unicorn

Description: Teal coat and white mane. Cutie mark is of a blue hexagon inside a white circle, symbolizing her specialty in magic: Protection.

Personality: She's kind above all else, never says a word out of place, the thinks about herself last. Unless someone will not listen at all, she won't fight and will try to get them to stop.

Element: Kindness

Weapon of Choice: A short whip. Doesn't have it until she acquires her element.

Cloud finally made it to the camp, it was about an hour that he was gone so he relieved Lightning of her shift and continued the watch...

Nidal flew through the air, thinking about what had happened and how she felt about it. Somebody actually cared for her and doesn't mind her being Greed; it was a miracle.

 

Void pounced between the trees, using his wings to glide between the trees. At the ground, two ponies were running away. He spied one of them slow down and lunged down, a teal barrier in his way shattering under his force as he took the pony by the throat, killing her instantly.

 

Seal saw the manticore break right through her shield and ran with tears in her eyes. She had failed to protect someone else. She ran right into a clearing that held an encampment. Seeing a pony standing sentry, she yelled at him, "Get out of here! He's coming!"

*Mercer sat down at his desk in the old chapel. He was not happy. He glanced at the trapdoor in the corner, the only entrance to the chamber that contained the two treasures that lay hidden there. He suddenly felt a presence, and sighed in annoyance.*

"What do you want now father?" *The form of Mercer's father appeared before him. A blank expression, the same one he had in life, carried over into death.*

"You are faltering Mercer. You don't know what to do. Where your loose loyalties should lie."

*Mercer scoffed.* "Again with this? You were never any better father. You were the element of Betrayal before me. You have no right to criticize my actions."

"That doesn't mean I did not feel regret. I despised my role as the traitor. Just as you do. Knowing that no one will ever trust you. Ever believe that you wish to in all honesty help them. It is a terrible place to be."

"I know, i know. I hate this life. I hate being the element of betrayal. Sometimes I wish that the next bearer of betrayal would appear, so that I may be killed and no longer have to carry this burden." *Mercer looked down at his desk, with sadness in his eyes.*

"There is a way out, a way for you to be able to be loyal, and no longer have the burden of being one that can never be trusted."

"I know father. And I am trying. Its as you have said, 'For the element of betrayal to be free of his burden...'"

"He must be trusted by the brother of his soul."

"Yeah, that. And I have found him dad, Its just, he doesn't trust me. He never will. I've done my best to help him and his friends. But they know my identity, they know who I really am. They know not to trust me."

"That is why you must change who you are Mercer, change your identity, change yourself."

"Why do you think I left that evil fool father? Discord nearly killed me during my flight from the capital. I barely escaped with my life...... and yours." *Mercer's father disappeared, and Mercer was left, staring at the pendant that represented the sin of his very soul.*

Clouds head whipped back as he heard the scream, what he saw made his pupils shrink, a pony was being chased by a huge manticore! Bigger than he had ever seen, "GUYS GUYS GET UP WE GOTTA GO NOW!!! Cloud yelled, hurrying to wake the others, he turned to the running mare, motioning her to hurry while the manticore was busy... EATING ROSE!!! Cloud could only stare in horror, the young mare who wanted out of her town so desperately was now dead, Im so sorry Rose...

Nervously wandering through the area, EB looked around, trying to find other ponies around. "Where could they all be...?" he asked himself as he was still looking around. Just then however, he had seen a sight that drained the color out of his body as he saw a manticore. Scared like crazy, he immediately hid behind the nearest tree, as he thought, "I... I hope it didn't see me..." as he was scared stiff.

"whait whu?" Till he saw what the panic was all about.

Lunatic jumped out of his sleeping bag and started to run as fast as his not so well trained legs could carry him.

Void finished crunching the last of the mare's limbs in his mouth. He threw out her head as it was the worst part of a body in terms of taste. He had thrown in towards the camp and it rolled up to the pony's feet. "More food, huh? I could still eat." He drew two blades from his paws and stood up on his hind legs. He charged the pony who had stopped her head, intending to kill and eat him. He swung his blades down when he got close.

Cloud looked down in complete horror... Rose's head lay there before him, he looked back up at the manticore as he charged, his anger spiking, with a flap of his wings, he took to the air, diving down and bucking the manticore's head in anger....

Void did a front flip to dodge the pegasus's attack and pushed himself off his body. He landed near Mercer and snorted at him. "Shut it, trash." He began to walk sideways, keeping the same distance from the pegasus and always facing him.

Cloud copied the manticore, circling and facing him, "Well... the big kitty can talk huh?" jeered Cloud, little known fact about Cloud, his most sarcastic side comes out during a fight, usually angering his opponent as much as he can as a means of getting the upper hoof...
