"A bit. Nobody has really said that to me before, so I wasn't sure what to do. But that's fine; it's not like we're going to never feel uncomfortable, like if I was to ask for sex, you'd probably feel uncomfortable."

Cloud chuckled, "You? Joking? Thats new!" he laughed and then replied, "Well... Im not too sure, you really havent told me how you feel... but seeing as youre still with us... perhaps you do feel something" he looked into her eyes, "Do you?"

Even though he had managed to sleep fine last night, EB was still pretty silent, not knowing who these new ponies were. The fact that what he had seen before didn't help much either.

Lightning looked around. All she could see were trees. "Hello?" She shrieked into the seemingly never ending forest. "Anypony down there? Cloud? Nidal? Loony?"

Nidal began to fly upside down and went in slightly below C2 and in front of him, so that her face was a bit away from his and below it. "I'd like to think so, but I don't know. How can I be sure?"

 

Crystal shook her head and shrunk down a little when the pony spoke. This time, there was no shield. "N- no, I did- didn't. Wh- What did you h- hear?" Her eyes scanned the trees around her, scarred that the manticore had found them again.

"L- lost? That's no good. No, no good at all." She pointed her horn to the sky before shrinking back even more. "But what if- if the manticore sees the flare? W- won't he come here then?"

Cloud felt a shiver down his spine as she got so close to him, never had he seen her be so... flirty... his blush remained but he didnt move or look away, "Maybe... we could find out... together", as much as he was blushing, he couldnt hide the fact that he enjoyed being this close to her...

Backing up a bit, he answered, "You're right... We... We don't want to risk being found by the manticore... But... What else can we do?"

Nidal cocked her head as she flew. She dropped altitude a bit and spun around before she could go into freefall. She rose back to C2's level and was now upright. "And how do we do that?"

 

Crystal began to put up her shield as she shook her head. "I don't know. We- we could call out. If you heard him, maybe he can hear us. It'd still be able to be- to be heard by the 'core but maybe he is- isn't around."

Lightning sighed when she didn't hear anypony call back. She was lost, and sad. A single tear fell down her cheek as she remembered Rose's fate. She decided to call out once again, "Anypony? Please help me, I'm lost!"

Hearing the voice calling out again, EB looked around, trying to find out which direction the voice came from. "Hold on," he called out to the lost pony, "I'll try to find you!" He then ran off towards where he thought he heard the voice come from.

Cloud stopped and hovered in front of her, albeit somewhat close, Geeze is she messing with me or do I have to explain this?! Cloud thought. He decided to stop playing around the subject and be to the point, "Well, whenever one shares feelings for another... and they want to be sure that what they feel is real..." he brought his head closer to hers, his speaking getting softer, "They usually do... this..." and without another word he brought his lips to hers, he knew he was taking a leap of faith, and half expected a hoof to the face, but at the current moment, he didnt really care...

After Lightning heard the reply, she let out a sigh of relief. "I'm going to fly down to the ground, okay?" She yelled out to where she heard the voice. She flew straight down to the ground where there was a dark, spooky clearing. "Where are you?"
