Lunatic was on his own. noponie was sleeping on the bed ontop of him.

He tought of all that happened since he left ponyville. Luna's castle, finding his element, fighting void, the loss of Rose, fillydelphia, The train.

So manny things already happened and so manny are still going to happen.

Lunatic closed his eyes trieing to push all the toughts out of his head and get some sleep.

Void sat down in the middle of the last car after breaking the chairs to make enough room for him to be comfortable. He had a pile of ponies next to him and was subsequently eating them as he waited for the train to arrive.

Cloud thought about this, "To be immortal can be a blessing... and a curse I suppose... But after all this... would you want to end immediately? I dont know if I sound selfish, but I wouldnt want to see you die before you had a chance to truly experience life the way it should be, I'd want you to live a better life than what youve already had... and hopefully I can be part of that life" he looked into Nidal's eyes as he said this...

Nidal looked into his eyes but her head was still mostly facing forward. "I'll finally be capable of death. I won't be chasing it around like crazy." She turned back to be facing the front of the train and closed her eyes as she took a deep breath. "I like it here, the wind blowing through my mane and coat while I just sit."

"Sometimes the best things happen when you take the time to just sit" agreed Cloud, he watched her mane blowing in the wind, the way the sun glanced off her just right, he couldnt help but to say, "You are so... beautiful... I havent told you that, but you truly are"

"Can you try not to use such cliche compliments? They get incredibly stale and meaningless after a hundred years." She smiled at his compliment, either way. "And don't worry about trying so hard; I don't like that, not when it's about this.Okay?"

Cloud looked at her, even trying to compliment her would be a difficult task, "Well... what can I do then without trying so hard... it seems that the compliments arent going to work obviously" Cloud wanted to show her that he truly cared for her, he thought the compliment would be a good way to show her, but she has been around too long and heard too many of them to be of any true meaning.

"How about you be yourself? I don't care all that much about being complimented and receiving gifts, even though I do so love my gifts, as much as I care about you. You don't need to try to be anything more than just you for me to be with you." She put her head on his shoulder and made sure her tail was wrapped around him as his tail was around her.

Cloud smiled and rested his head gently over hers, How did I get to be so lucky?, he thought to himself. "Nidal... why is it that you fell for me? I have been very curious... not to mention happy beyond how I thought I would be... as to the reason you did."

"You're the first one to ever care for me and give me something to hope for. Until now, I thought there was no chance that I'd be free of the curse. You, you give me something to believe in, something to hope for,and I want to protect that as hard as I can. What about you?"

Cloud smiled at her reason, then continued to answer her question, "Because you are a strong, independant, and yes beautiful mare. You have been able to care for yourself long before I even met you. I fell for you because you didnt have to come with us... yet you chose to anyway. You stay strong even when the odds are against you, and as much as you want to protect that hope, I want to be by your side the whole time protecting it as well"

After having finished his apple off, he sat the core next to him as he lied back on the bed once again. *Well, I might as well get some sleep in now...* he thought. *If we're going to look for the next Element of Harmony, it'd be best to have a good night's sleep.* He then slowly began to shut his eyes as he tried to fall asleep.

Nidal didn't say anything. Instead, she just mounted him right there edged closer to him and stayed in her current position as she watched the land pass with the sun setting in front of them.

Cloud smiled and wrapped a foreleg around her shoulders, enjoying the serene moment. He gently kissed her forehead as he held her, hoping this moment would never end. And then they did it right on the roof.

Unfortunately, the moment did eventually end. After a good amount of time like that, Nidal yawned and looked down. "We probably should get some sleep. This might be one of the few times we can, remember?"

(Yeah yeah) Cloud nodded and they both headed back into the car, he turned and said good night to Nidal, but before he went into his bed, snuck a kiss in before she could turn away. Climbing back to his bed, he stretched and stared out the window before sleep soon overtook him.

 

(I will do a time skip in about 30 minutes, so anypony with a last second post go ahead and post it, I'll be offline for a little bit but expect me back soon)
