Will The Element of Love Become Canon?

 So, last year, Shining Armor and Cadence's trading cards claimed that they were the seventh element-Love. In an interview, Meghan said that they were going to fix the species balance problem. By adding Shining Armor and Cadence, they might just do that. Do you think that in Season 4, The Element of Love may become canon?

I quite honestly don't think so, having 6 friends is enough, but a married couple as well? Maybe it's only me, but it's too much of a mess and 6 ponies is more than enough.

Personally, I don't think it will. Hasbro and the team working on MLP know full well the audience that they're dealing with, and know that love is something we kinda understand IRL because of our age and would accept if it where put into the show. In this case, some young kids do watch the show too, and while they can make refrances to love to keep the slightly older audiences entertained, adding it as a whole element is taking it a little too far. I can only really see love as the ultimate form of friendship, thus if it where put in it would be VERY god modish and overpowered. This would be OK maybe once a season, but if you added it as a element, you're kinda forced to use it, just like every episode has its own theme that kinda fits into one of the elements range.

 ...Er, love was used as comdy in "Hearts and Hooves Day", a victory in the season two finale, an the love of friendship was used in "Hearth's Warming Eve". Also, it could be something along the lines of "Disney True Love" or something like that".
