If I used a physical journal then nobody but myself can give input which defeats the purpose of organizing with a group.

 

Which means no-one can mess up your plans in the first place.

 

Besides, better to use video chat if you are doing something as involved as this to organize with a group.

Just read most of the new threads, and all I could say is

 

Countless new peeps replying in each and every single threads. And lots of repetitive post because most of them seemingly rushed to reply instead of read the entire thread first

 

Kinda hoped this forum wasn't that popular ._.

Still waiting my friend to open that 10 person forum he want's to use to "poke at things" like he puts it.

Sweet sweet exclusivity and permission to ban hammer anyone who will not fall inside my personal comfort zone of;

"Actually intelligent enough to read the OP, patient enough to read more than OP and spends more than five minutes to do a reply."

 

Cause 90% of people here would get ban'd based on one of those things alone.

Say what you will, public forums always gather idiots like a server stacks dust and none of those are willing to improve in the least.

I prefer small ones as long as the drama is contained to a acceptable level.

 

To me it will be interesting social experiment too if it ever happens.

And content will happen if people make it.

 

This forum is on the verge of me abandoning it.

Too much asshat content due to the "large" and MLP has no internal group filtering like other "fandoms" and what-nots.

The people are nice, but the huge wave of new ones are just too disorienting. Back then when I joined, there's only like twenty of regular posters here and there, lots of them preferred to stay at lurking. Now there's a fancy new thread with nothing new whatsoever every single hour, followed with a horde of '+1 posts'

But I'm pretty sure things will change to the better. Let's just hope so ._.

Welp, can't really say anything about this forum :/

True, but that is the fate of forums I'm afraid. Hopefully all of the new members eventually settle down and equilibrium can be reestablished.
