I've seen smartphones in multiple cartoons.

 

I've only caught small glimpses of Looney Toons (the modern-day one) and I've only seen the Internet in it, no smartphones.

 

(I never watch TV at all.)

 

Then there's another show my brother dragged me into watching. Flip phones.

The reason I don't watch new shows is because it's hard for me to commit to watching a show, it takes up a lot of time. It's a miracle I stayed around for the brony fandom.

 

Like I said, episodes are only 11 minutes, and no one's going to force you to rush through the series. It's something you could take your time on, one episode before bed each night for example. Or, you can wait until you're at a point where you have more time. Like around holidays. I hope it doesn't seem like I'm trying to pressure you, I'm honestly not. I'm just offering suggestions.

 

 

Can I ask something? Has cartoons in general reached the point where they have finally caught up with technology? My brother tipped me off to an anime called "Parasyte" and there were smartphones in it.

Steven Universe has smartphones in it.
