Remember that poem, from A Light in The Attic, where that girl wanted a pony, but her parents didn't get her one, the little girl said she'd die if she didn't have the pony, but her parents denied it to her, and then she actually died because she couldn't have the pony?

 

Ponies... they have this certain... power.
