I'm usually most interested in J-tribe/tribecore in general. 200bpm and up with lots of sampling, essentially. I also listen to some speedcore as long as it's not splittercore-like stuff which reaches speeds of like 800bpm and up... that's just noise, literally. I'll always listen to some J-core at, say, 170bpm. Which of course is just Japanese Hardcore. Remixes of anime openings/endings are common, of course. Hardstyle every now and then... mostly just form Shingo Dj, though. It's usually too slow for me to enjoy too much of, so meh. :3

However, that's only preferred for like, the endings of, say, hour long sets or something. Kinda like a finale or something. It has to build up to that speed, really. Otherwise, I can't get into it.

200 - 225bpm is best speed.

To be specific. 

J-core = Japanese Hardcore. Has Japanese vocals, obviously. Has more Japanese-style to it. Different basses and different samples and stuff will be used. 

Speedcore is obvious. It's fast. And it's hardcore.

UK Hardcore is essentially just Hardcore, but I dunno. It has a specific kind of bass. :U 

Then there's also freeform, which has crazyass leads. Like bewbwebewbwebwebwbberwberwaebrwt and stuff.

J-tribe relies on more sampling than is does melody. Which is why it's usually not popular. It usually has less "form" to it, at least compared to most other genres out there.

Splittercore is just bullshit. o;

I'm pretty sure its in 4/4, just the video is weird and doesn't transition to the next tempo properly. It switches really oddly, throwing off most counting.
