Deathcore is just a tad heavier than Metal/Metalcore with a different style and more gutteral growls.

Hmm, apparently the one I was referring to is actually Metalcore...Coulda sworn it was deathcore...

Blah, close enough. And I, the Breather is Metalcore as well.

I'm not into Metal, Metalcore, or Deathcore, but I do at least have some I, The Breather and August Burns Red.

Christian deathcore... That is awesome! Yet I can't see myself listening to these on a regular basis.

If you want since you have a little of those two, you could try As I Lay Dying or The Devil Wears Prada. Same genre as them and Christian as well.

I really love the drum lines in most deathcore songs. It takes a lot of talent to go that fast.

Yeah... Most people I know don't like Skillet much... Personal preferences, I guess...

 

Their not bad imo. Definitely some of the better stuff to listen to when you have to. As in when I was in my bible class lol

My opinion of Skillet is that you haven't experienced their music until you hear them live.

 

I'm taking it that they are... good live? I've heard that from others...

 

There's a concert with Skillet in it an hour from where I live coming up on... September 27th?

Oh my gosh... Fire, drums that move and spin around in circles, bass that is so loud it makes your shirt jump. Everyone going crazy jumping up and down in a wave watching the lazers encircle the entire stadium...

I listen to them a whole lot. In fact, I bought some covers of their songs from Piano Tribute Players and Cellofourte on iTunes... :blush:

And I know the intros of Hero, Awake and Alive, and recently* Comatose on keyboard.

 

*I learned it by ear on Friday on Garageband on my iPad.
