"Hey mister" a little voice said as Riku looked down a saw a little kid. "wha is it you want little girl" Riku said looking at the girl who looked like she was poor. "Could you spare some money" The little girls said. "...Sure...here" Riku said giving the girl 10 of the dollar coins. "Thank you mister: The little girl said as she ran offf leaving a tear in Rikus eyes.

Seeing the others pulling out money, Tumble rooted in her pockets and pulled out... A ball of fluff and a button. She sighed and shook her head, simply dropping the rubbish on the floor and kicking them away.

(OOC- We will look around for a bit till we find a school, I agree that will be fun!!! Another thing we could do is go in a shop and ask for pony things and the shop keeper would be like 'WHat....'

 

Frozen looked around her pockets and found $5 (Idk American money...) "I guess we could go on an adventure with this much." Frozen looked around and saw the other ponies.

Frozen followed Milly and turned her head when she saw a man sleeping in a buss shelter. "Hey guys look he is sleeping in that shelter thing, we could do that too once we have our food!" Frozen carried on walking until they came to a massive super-store. "A-s-da... Asdar, asdda, asda, yes Asda. This should be a shop!"

Clover followed Frozen and Millie into the huge building. She gasped. There were shelves piled high with different items as far as the eye could see. She couldn't see anything that remotely resembled the food that she regularly bought in Trottingham high street, save at the section for fruit and vegetables.

 

"How are we going to find real food in here?" she whispered to the others.

Delia followed behind the Clover into the massive building. She saw bright lights overhead and a lot of items on shelves. She then sniffed at the air and felt the ground. "I do not trust this place. The air does not feel right. It is bright, but i see no sun or candles." Delia said as she cautiously continued to walk with the group.

Tumble followed the group close behind, but when they got to the store she wandered off, going down each individual isle to see wht there was. She eventually came across the meat isle, and she was horrified at the fact that humans ate chicken and such. When she was walking back to find the group after going down many isles, she kept glaring at the people with meat it their carts.

"This place is disgusting..." She mumbled once she regrouped.

"Maybe we ought to go over there," Clover replied, pointing to the produce section. "They sell carrots there, and apples. I'd be perfectly happy with just those for the moment. Maybe when we get used to this world we can try and buy something else. I'd be happy to pay, seeing as I seem to have the most money."

Frozen was dying for a daisy sandwich, she walked up to the cashier and asked him. "Excuse me, where are the daisy sandwiches, and why do you sell animals, its horrifying." Frozen lifted an eyebrow. "Well..." The cashier looked at her with a strange look. "We don't sell 'daisy' sandwiches just ham, cheese and tuna..." Frozen looked confused. "Ham what is ham." The cashier started to chuckle at her stupidity "Its pig..." Frozen jaw dropped she opened her mouth to speak and then walked off.

Riku got tired of waiting for the others and decided to head into a random store called Asda he entered and saw the others. "What are they even doing this time" Riku said as he walked up to Milly. "Um what are you doing exactly Milly"

Milly was looking around the store trying to find food. She found some carrots and other fruits and veggies "Wow, its so much easier to hold things now!" Milly said looking at her hands. Milly also found something called salad dressing "This looks good, as long as there is no meat in it..." Milly said then herd Riku "Oh hi Riku, me and the other..uh people thought we would get some food"

"Milly I met a little girl...but she wasn't like most of the people she was wearing torn and tattered...she she was poor she doesn't have a place to live...I gave her 10 of the coins I had so she could get her own food"Riku said with a sad tone in his voice. "Frozen," she said. "I saw some daisies growing outside, in the grass. If we pick some, then we can make daisy sandwiches with this sliced bread and margarine. I saw some kids picking the daisies so I'm sure it's allowed."

Delia tried to stay close to the group. People kept bumping into her which made her very annoyed. "These people appear in such a rush but the do not seem to go anywhere." Delia said as she looked at some of the items on the shelves.

Milly listened to what Riku said about the little girl "Well, thats alright...sounds like she needed it more then us" Milly said hoping the little girl was okay. "Well, me and the other poni-people thought we needed to get food..then find some shelter" Milly said to Riku. Milly herd what Clover said "Thats a good idea...then we don't have to pay for them!"

"Alright well I found a hotel really cheap 5$ a night" Riku said as he heard his stomach growl. "I probably should get some food also" Riku said as he saw apples. "Thank god Lyra taught me about humans and human culture...but nothing about poor humans" Riku said as he placed that apples in a bag.

The guard pinned Frozen down and said "This is not money, give me some real money!!" Frozen gulped and kicked the guard she ran outside still carrying the stolen items and quickly picked some daisy's, until once more the guard pinned her down. Frozen dropped the stuff and walked out muttering to herself. "How rude, I will just have grass and daisy salad then..."

Chrissie had stayed quiet for most of the journey, and it hurt her to see her best friend get bullied like that. So she strayed away from the group and walked up to the man selling flowers, and just smiled at him. He looked up at her with an annoyed look on his face, and said "You gonna buy something?" then turned back to his paper. Chrissie was frustrated at the moment with his rudeness, but she kept her cool. "Yes, sir may I please have some roses, some daises, and clovers please?" The man grunted at her, than sighed slowly as he struggled to get up. She held both hands behind her back while the guard wasn't looking, and made human money appear in her palms. Since she had read about the humans, she was centrally the one who understood the most about the two-legged beings. Chrissie stuck out her palm when the man returned with her basket, and she gave him a smile. He smiled back, reveling his chipped, yellow teeth. She tried hard not to wince, but succeeded. "Good-bye, sir. Thank you again!" She waved at him halfway back to the group, and she saw his yellow toothed smile and he waved at her with one of his hairy, meaty looking arms.

Clover was worried about her friends; she quickly handed over one of the green papers to the cashier to pay for what she had picked up. Much to her surprise, the cashier gave her some coins. She picked up the bag and joined the others outside.

 

"Guess what," she said. "When I gave the woman behind the counter the money, she gave me some coins back!"

Riku went to the cashier and payed the money for the apples and got a few coins back and left and heard something from Clover. "It's called change you get it when you give a little over then the price and also make sure you pay before leaving or the guards will stop you it's their job to and they dont have the same food we do so dont go asking for daisy sandwiches and other stuff we used to eat" Riku explained remembering what Lyra taught him.

"Woah, hold on, so they don't have daisy sandwiches so I doubt they'd have anything along the lines of flowers. Which means they must taste nasty to humans, right? So maybe, since we have become humans, our taste has changed too? Just thinking out loud here, don't mind me..."

She turned to the cashier that Frozen had talked to.

"Please please PLEASE tell me you have cupcakes!" She said, fixing him with a pleading gaze. The cashier nodded awkwardly and pointed to the isle they were on. Tumble grinned and then remembered she had no money, so she pivoted on her heel towards the group and grinned hopefully.

"Yes they have cupcakes don't worry they just don't eat flowers and trust me our tastes have changed since I had a flower before we got here and it did not taste good" Riku said. "At least they have lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, apples" Riku explained as he saw humans look at him weird and then he glared back at them causing them to look away. "Plus human don't like it when you act strange and.." Riku stopped for a moment and say a sign that says video games. "They have video games...." Riku rushed towards  the section and saw many games.

Delia was enamered by the items on the shelf in front of her. "Jack Daniels, Smirnoff, and Captian Morgans? Is this cider or some other kind of drink?" She said aloud to herself. She didn't notice what the rest of people in her group was doing. Delia picked up a bottle, "26 dot 99 lined esses. I wonder how much work I would have to do to procure a bottle of this mysterious drink." She said

"Actually I bought some flowers from the shop where Frozen stole from. The cashier was nice, he said Frozen had the strangest money he had ever seen though, I'm not surprised, no humans take bits here. They take paper money and coins.  It's a more advanced money system than the one we have at home, but I find it rather interesting."
