Betez 1,734 April 14, 2013 Share April 14, 2013 Well, eventually you get sick of anything you enjoy. It doesn't mean you'll never be able to enjoy the show again, it may just mean that it's time to take a short break from ponies. No biggie, but that's what I've heard. If you're bored with something, take a break from it. 1 My OC Stay pony my friends"And ALWAYS remember...to never forget." - Someone who I'm sure has said this before I did
Zerobot 179 April 14, 2013 Share April 14, 2013 Something I use to stave off the 'tween season boredom is headcanons. Question things, or try to prove/disprove other people's headcanons in your head. Stuff like whether Discord is Starswirl the Bearded, or Luna is Chrysalis. Or try to explain why each of the mane six is best pony. That certainly helped me gain more appreciation for Applejack...I used to be part of the 'best background pony' crowd. Or, if you think you'd enjoy it, you could try writing reviews/analysis of every episode. Seems like you'd know a lot about each one, and your opinions could help stave off a few other's impending 'tween season boredom. "Hi I'm hipster superman, you probably haven't heard of me I'm pretty obscure." The center picture is hipster superman. The other four pictures are my favorite webtoon, anime, band, and comic. They're pretty obscure. They might actually not be but I've never met anyone who's heard of them.
Phoenix237 353 April 14, 2013 Share April 14, 2013 It's kinda hard for me to get bored If I'm not rewatching old episodeds I'm looking at fan-art, fan-fics, fan-comics, fan made music, fan made videos, etc. The brony culture is large that do me it's hard to get bored out of it. FoxyCryptid 4,330 April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 I think people always get antsy and bored of the old content when they know there new content on the horizon, because that's all you re thinking of is "when will it come". Myself, I very rarely get tired of things because I bonce around so much throughout the day. For me Pony is like a default mode that I come back to when I finish whatever I just binged on. "You know, I don't know who or what you are Methos, and I know you don't want to hear this, but you did teach me something. You taught me that Life's about change, about learning to accept who you are, good or bad. And I thank you for that." -Duncan McLeod.
Flutterdasher 115 April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 I don't have that experience because if it gets to that point with the episodes I just go and search for fanfiction. I also write my own fanfiction, hang out on the forums and do some artwork pertaining to the show. Any show like ponies that I'm really into, I never become bored with simply because I don't allow myself. There is always something to find and do with in the fandom. Invisible_Mango 10 April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 Being into ponies and the message the show represents just fits in so well with myself and what I like that I don't think it'd be possible to get bored of em. I pity the me who doesn't have time for ponies... cause that's the me who doesn't like music and dancing. *shudder*
Silverstream 51 April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 I don't get bored more like i take a "fandom" break from things from writing/fanfic to images. I also do the same thing with anime and books. Personal, watching it in japanese got me more back into if anything! It is like watching the show for the first once more!
Dreadmallon 353 April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 I could only get bored of ponies if someone shoves ponies into my face 24/7. Although I believe anyone would get bored of anything from such an experience...
GrooveBroove 680 April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 I can...and I have a few times. Though the fandom is what always brings me back. Just finished watching Brony Doc and it reminded me of the reason I became a fan in the first place. It was definitely the kick I needed. Thinking back though everything a person likes, for the most part always runs into a slump here and there. Its just a matter of waiting for the spark to relight. Whether thats from the shows new season or something else.
Avatar tag: shipping 299 April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 No way! I work WAAAAY too much to be able to watch it on a regular basis. So the little free time I have to myself is pony time. However, while I'm at work I can usually sneak in some EQD or other fan works to get my pony fix. Sig by the one and only Doc Volt! Gone but not forgotten! Guess who's back!!! Luna damn it!Your PMs are not safe! Trust no one!

GeneralDirection 1,047 April 15, 2013 Share April 15, 2013 Well, I've only been a fan for a month or two, so I haven't exactly had a lot of time to get bored. But for me and many others, it's an escape from reality. When I have a rotten day at school and/or work I can come home and even simple things like browsing these forums or working on my fanfic make me happier. I can't see myself getting bored of that anytime soon, even when I quit my current job once I'm finished my schooling. Signature artwork by Magfen.
