Beat raised an eyebrow as she went.
He stood up and walked after her. He stuck his head out the door and spoke calmly. "Accent. I said it IS music...I guess you must have misheard me...but I said it IS music, Accent. But hey, if you dislike me enough to twist my words around, fine, leave." He said, closing the door and walking over to his bed where he sat down and stared at the ground.

Star glanced down at his wounds and shivered slightly before looking back up. "Um...lots of rest...and you should be fine." She said, still holding his hoof in hers.

((She was going off of the assumption of her thinking Beat had indirectly said that the first recording wasn't music. Sorry if I confused you for a second there.))

 

Accent had scoffed from hearing his words, walking back to her room and laying back on her bed. What Beat had said, or frankly, what she had heard, had hurt her pretty badly. She even looked to be a little teary-eyed as well. But she quickly caught that and wiped whatever was about to escape from her. 

 

"Stupid Beat...", she muttered, looking down on her pillow. "My music is always fantastic... He's just trying to trick me or something... Feh. I knew this was a bad idea all along to come here."

Beat fell back onto his bed, staring up at the ceiling...why would she freak out over a simple compliment ? Did she think he meant the one song ? "Ugh." He said, rolling onto his side. Usually he didn't care if a mare hated him...he would get over it, but right now...why did he feel like this ?

"ERGH! I need to get my mind off of him... Stupid... *insert intelligible mumbling here*", Accent blurted out, grabbing her bag of food from the kitchen, and walked the halls towards the pool area. She laid back in a lawn chair, and started to much on one of the crescents.

It looked like Lorcan was finishing up Max's treatment. He had a large wrap that ran around his chest, bandages all around his legs, with all this Max looked like somepony who just got out of a Die Hard movie. When he started trying to get to his feet, the smell of blood-a very coppery smell-began to flare up. His entire left side up to his neck was covered in his blood. He still felt light, but the treatment helped.

"I don't suppose anypony has a blood pack?" Max asked wearily. He tried leaning on Star on the right side, hoping to not cover her in blood, but winced at his injury. He kept at it though, Max could tell she was uncomfortable as it is.

Solara shook her head.

"I know I don't, and I don't think anyone else here does either. Besides, it would need to be your blood type. ... Say, what is your blood type?"

"So you plan on giving him some of your blood if you have the same blood type? What would that do? That would only make that other mare unhappy."

Lorcan started to put the supplies away when Max got up. "You can walk,but can you fly?" Lorcan felt like he knew the answer. He saw Max leaning on Star and made a disgusted face. "No...I shall carry you to your room...there you will rest." Lorcan said. He barely noticed Solara there. He was too focused on helping Max.It was as if he made a complete 180 from being laid back and awkward to strict and  focused.

Star let Max lean against her as she looked up at the other mare. She nodded then looked at Max. "If Lorcan were to have the right supplies...I suppose somepony here could give you blood. I'm A Positive. But if you're not losing any more and you're not feeling really sick...I think some bed rest would be enough. How are you feeling ? Apart from the cuts and stuff..." She asked.

"If it gets me flying again, I am all for it. And don't want to have Lorcan or Star have to carry my sorry flank home." Max jumped at Lorcans roar. He actually whistles at it.

But...I can't see myself going out with him...he's my friend, that's it...Right? She considered her feelings a bit, feelinv more awkward by the second, and eventually lookdd down at her hooves and shuffled them around in the dirt.

"So, um... Thanks..."

He stayed there for a moment before gesturing at the forest.

Max moved to over to the mare, looking her dead in the eye.

"See this wound?" He said, lifting his wing to show a bloody wrap.

"If you can transplant blood to me, any amount, then I can make it back. There is a chance I could die before I return home. And I wont do that to Star. I would sooner banish myself to the moon. Please. Fix this." He said solemnly, a grim look on his face. His eyes pleaded. He did not fear his death, at least not as much as others. He feared for Star and how she would react to him...departing.

Nightfall shuffled the dirt a bit before looking up at Windy.

"So, um... Thanks..."

He stayed there for a moment before gesturing at the forest.

Solara closed her eyes for a moment and then look around. She picked up a small rock, took a deep breather,and cut her hoof. She winced, but started making the blood that dripped out go into the colt's wound, hoping it would help him and not hurt him.

 

She looked up, his voice slightly breaking the awkwardness. "Oh...yeah, sure. We should go exploring now. I mean, if you want to, that's all." She replied back.

She wondered where everypony else was at this point; Accent, Star, Lorcan, ll the other ponies. They seemed like the only ones who had wanted to go out this morning, after all.

"Well, we came here to explore, so... I guess we should."

He started off into the forest.

The mare started transferring blood from a cut on her hoof to his wound. At first he wondered how just dripping blood onto it would help, but, he saw it was going straight through the wrap, and into his body. He felt his strength returning, he and his wounds started to fade ever so slightly. By the end of it, Max had about half the blood he lost restored to him, only a few cuts and bruises, and the major gash stopped bleeding. He eventually called it off, not wanting to kill this generous mare for him. She hadn't lost enough blood for any problems to occur, but Max still felt like he would have to make it up to her somehow.
"Thank you. All of you. You all probably saved my life." He turned to Star, and gave her a tight hug.

"And thanks for staying by my side." His side was still sore, but he didn't care.

Star hugged him back. "I'm sorry you fell in the first place...now lets get back to the house so you can rest." She said, nuzzling his cheek before looking at Lorcan and the other mare. "Thank you...for helping." She said, smiling at them before looking back at Max. "Do you think you're okay to fly ?" She asked.

Max returned the nuzzle before answering.

"Yah, as long as I take it slow, I should make it." He answered optimistically.

"Just don't expect any more stunts for a while." He said with a chuckle. He started flying, and he did feel fine, but his side and fatigue kept him from moving fast.

He landed back down, and gave Star a peck on the cheek.

"Shall we?"

"She moved into you, meaning she has to like you more than a friend... So the feelings could be mutual. That means... No, don't bring it up right now."

Solara nodded, smiling.

"You saved him, and now the lovebirds are back at it. So you didn't kill something..."

Lorcan stood there and watched the act of healing Max unfold. When it was done and the appreciations were shown Lorcan grunted. "Be more careful next time!" He said with anger in his voice. He sharply spread his wings and took off leaving a visible wind stream behind which followed him.

 

Lorcan quickly flew into his house and up to his room. He shut the door and looked into his mirror. His eyes returned to normal as he took an exhausted breath. Did it happen again? BUCK! He thought as he shook his head around

Star nodded and spread her wings. She was about to take off but she looked over at the mare and Lorcan one last time. "Thank you...again...I know i've already said it but...really...tha-." She was cut off as Lorcan spoke and flew off back towards the house. She frowned and looked at Max. "Um...he...he seem's kinda angry." She said, looking back in the direction of Lorcan's home.

 

 

 

 

Beat sat up...he had come up with an idea (Which Umbreon actually came up with)
He used his magic to grab an envelope, a scroll and a blank CD from his bag.
He wrote a quick note to his agent and placed the scroll inside the envelope...but before putting the CD in, he did some stuff on his DJing equipment.
A couple moments later, the CD came out of a small slot and he placed it into the envelope before sealing it with his magic and letting it burn up in a blue flame, the ashes floating out a window a couple moments later.

"He is probably upset that I got injured all the way out here. He will be fine." Max said with a shrug. And with that he headed out to the hotel, flying close to Star. He had time to think, and realized that something that hadn't quite hit him fully: Star could of died. If not for him, she would be near death, not him. That's when he decided to take this vacation at a slower pace. He couldn't take it if anything happened to Star.

"So, what do you want to do when we get back? I think I need to lie down, but that doesn't mean you should miss out on anything." Max said as they approached the luxury home.
