gaming Do you focus on family or career in the sims?

This question is for all the Sims players(I will be referring to The Sims 3 in this). When you play The Sims, do you focus on family stuff such as pregnancy and kids and stuff, or do you focus more on advancing your Sim in his/her career.

 

I usually go down the family route. It is interesting to see a combination of two Sims.

I focus on family, if by focusing on them you mean finding increasingly cruel ways to torture/murder them. One of my favorites is walling them into a pool until they run out of energy, fall asleep, and drown.

When I played earlier (don´t play anything recently) I focused more on family, just pretty much for the same reasons as you Moon...

Though I thought how interesting it would be the other way around, but nah, it was cool that way.

I'd always make a career dude. There's nothing like going into work as a supervillain and ending up the next week as a general.

I do this whenever I'm not killing them. Reason being that they die too quickly and what-not. I once made a house with a nuclear fallout shelter like three floors below the ground.
