Scamps had only had a few better feeling than this one, and all of them involved Airy. She slowly descended to the ground, and let her back hooves touch the ground and bend down to land. She opened her eyes and folded in her wing as she pulled back slowly, and smiled. "I've always wanted to try that....and I finally found the perfect pony to do it with."

Airy waited until the moment Scamps released her lips from his ones before he opened his eyes again. "To be honest... When I saw that in a movie, I always found it very sappy. But now that I once did it myself... it really was amazing. And... there can't be any pony that could make me feel better than you do all the time. I... I really really love you, Windy Scamper, and I am so happy you feel the same way for me."

"I do," she replied. "I just don't understand what my life was like before you. And if I...." she stopped, as a problem occurred to her. Airy could live anywhere in Equestria, and she knew long-distance relationships never worked.

 

She looked down, horrified by her revelation. "Airy...where....what town...do you live in?"

"Uh... ok." Firebolt said. She couldn't help but hold a small position, however. A cowerding position. She soon regained herself, though. "Is there anything else you'd not like me to do, then? I'd hate to bother you like that... And all of us do hate certain things... right?"

Airy was surprised Scamps suddenly got a little sad, but when she asked her question, Airy understood what she felt like - because he possibly felt the same in that very moment.

"I... I live in Flankfurt. I know, it's not just around the corner... I have a little cabin there since I can't live in Cloudsdale any more. Where do you like?"

Scamps sighed. "Ponyville. If I'm not traveling. Miles and miles from you. But I can't just leave my job, and my crew. Some of my stuff is nearly impossible to move around within the city, let alone across Equestria."

 

She began to cry. "Airy....I love you....but how could we ever make this work?"

Airy looked down at the top deck's floor. "Same for me... getting all my stuff to Ponyville would also be close to impossible. But..."

Airy was thinking. Maybe if no one of them could move closer to the other one's place... No, that wouldn't work too.

"Sorry, all I could think of would be a permanent ticket for the train. But then again I have no idea how long a train ride would take..."

There just had to be a way. It couldn't be that the chance to finally have a very special somepony was destroyed by such a problem.

"I could talk to my parents and ask them... but I'm not sure if they have an idea..."

"My parents couldn't care less about me," she grunted. "So they won't be any help in this."

 

"Maybe I could just....start over. Get new roadies, sell my large and heavy stuff, and go back to street shows until I can find a new crew and big illusions. It wouldn't be easy, to fire my crew, but it would be harder to ask them to move away from what they know. But it will be worth, because I'll be with you, and our relationship could go on."

 

Are you insane? Do you remember how long it took to get a gig in Ponyville, and for them to accept your talent? You can't just move! You'll be broke!

 

Yeah, well I'm lot leaving the best thing that's ever happenned in my life!

 

Listen; just accept this can't be, and make the next week worth a lifetime with him. There are plenty of ponies in Equestria....

 

 

But not ponies like him, brain! Think about it! Not with his loyalty and kindness, with his knowledge and wisdom....there just isn't another colt like that, and I'm not willing to live in misery! I'd rather be broke than be without him again! And don't you dare argue, brain! Don't you dare!

Airy shoke his head in a very very sad way. "I can't ask you to do that... I will find an other way. I am sure my parents will help me find a solution for it. They always cared so much about me, and they won't let me down... especially once I introduced you to them. I am pretty sure they'll like you and help us find a way out of that.

And by the way..." Airy got his wheelchair and climbed into it. "I think we should stop thinking about it for now. We have some more days to spend time together, we should be happy about now, not sad about a not even written future."

Saying these words, Airy ran towards the pool again and jumped in like he had done a while before. "Come on, I'm not ready with you yet!"

She nodded, and hoped that everything Airy said was true. She didn't want this to end, especially this soon.

 

And then he jumped into the pool. She smiled. There he goes again...he just has a way to throw all my troubles out the window, like they're non-existant.

 

She dove in after him. "Oh yeah? Like what? Let me see what you got, Airy, this challenge isn't over yet! And if I recall, it's your move!"

Airy grinned widely. That was his Windy Scamper.

"Well... As generous as I am today, you may choose what is my next challenge. Which one will you choose? The one that holds you in my mental control for a while until there is no chance for you to escape, or the one that you will not be able to expect? Choose wisely, my mare, since every mistake may be crucial now..."

A wide grin spread across her face. Oh, now we're talking. This sounds fun. Both options could turn out amazing, however....I know myself too well to know what my choice is.

 

If her grin could have gotten wider, it did. "Surprise me. I choose the unexpected."

 

The best of games.

 

I supposse. May I ask, what have you gotten yourself into? And what happenned to the innocent colt you met?

 

 

Any innocence died at noon today, self. And I have no idea where this is going. That's the fun.

Âiry's grin got even wider than before. "Oh... being the brave one today? I like that attitude, my dear..."

While speaking, Airy slowly but perceptibly came closer to the mare and swam around her.

"You should know, the biggest surprises come from where you'd least expect it... so now that you know I am going to surprise you, what would be the obvious thing for me to do?"

His right fore hoof stroked over Scamps' body, around her neck, over her chest.

"Isn't it that obvious? Oh, don't tell me you have no idea what's going to happen! First I try to distract you, then in the very moment your attention fades, I do my move..."

Airy suddenly changed his direction of swimming while switching to his left fore hoof to stroke Scamps. He had some difficulties maneuvering with just one hoof left to swim, but that wasn't too important.

"Aren't you getting nervous, my dear? Well, I hope you don't, otherwise it wouldn't be fun..."

Her grin, once again, grew bigger. If it all possible. "I'm not nervous. This is....oh, I don't know how to put this. Not so much fun, as it is.....exciting and intense."

 

 

"And I'm still waiting for your big move. All this build up is making me excited." She said, in a surprisingly calm voice.voice, instead of her usually perky and excited one.

Airy knocked his hoof against her chest three times. "Hm... building up a facade of calmness and self-confidence against my attempts to make you nervous is a good solution, my dear. I can see that under your sweet and cute surface there is quite a character to be found. But be warned, I have a hoof for difficult cases like you, my dearest mare..."

He swam around her again. "Just remember, surprises come from where you least expect them..."

Suddenly Airy raised his hoof just to hold it there for a moment before he let it sink into the water again. "Feints are an important part of distracting somepony. Make them think your move is coming so they put their concentration away from the other hoof that is lying around their neck..."

In that very moment Airy made a move backwards, his hoof still wrapped around Scamps' neck. His other hoof immediately did the same, and together Airy and Scamps fell into the water. Before they even hit the surface, Airy's lips hit Scamps' ones, and together they dove into the pool - into weightlessness.

Scamps tumbled through the water with Airy, the weightlessness making them tumble through it. They flipped around, and it was an odd feeling, but not a bad one.

 

She parted from him, and regained stability after a while, and when she came up, her grin held. "That's it? I wa shoping it would be some kind of...extreme. Something new, incredible, and well, new." She winked at him, hinting for him to try again.

Airy broke through the water's surface and took a deep breath. "Is that a challenge, my dear? I didn't want to go any further because I wasn't sure how you would react. But... if you want me to be a little more... extreme, I can try something else. But not without your permission, because then it could get a little more personal and... powerful."

Her grin held. "Oh, my dear Airy," she replied, attempting to imitate. "That's what makes this fun. You already stole my heart and my childhood, so do what you will with me. And you don't have to ask any more."

 

 

She went underwater, and then popped up behind him, and raised her lips close to his ear. She then whispered. "That kills the moment, the suspense, the fun, and the surprise. Now surprise me."

Airy had to watch out now. He had to be very careful to not hurt his mare or himself, neither in a physical nor psychic way.

"You wanted it so", he said and turned around again, doing the exact same procedure as before.

"I should have known you were not that easy to trick as a stage magician. Tricks, distractions, illusions and feints are your bread and butter, so maybe the mindgames are not my way to win."

When he was in the kissing position again, Airy slowly moved his lips forward until they nearly touched Scamps' ones. "Did I ever tell you how much I love you?"

She giggled through the grin. "I supposse I should have thought throuh how hard I am to trick. Am I allowed to switch, or am I stuck with this?"

 

She found Airy's lips right in reach of hers. I'm going to have to play this game to win it.

 

She agresaively pulled him in a kissed him, tongue and all, for a mere three seconds. She pulled away, tilted her head down, and pulled his forehead so it touched hers. "Yes. You have. And you've proved it. So, now, for my sake and my love, give me a surprise. Pleasant or unpleasant, and make it fun. After all, game are fun, even if they are sick and twisted."

 

The grin continued to hold.

Airy really enjoyed this kiss, especially since he was secretly able to move Scamps into a better position close to his wheelchair. He just had come up with something very very dangerous - not in a physical way but in a psychic way.

When Scamps released her kiss, Airy's eyes already had found what he had been looking for. He estimated about three seconds for it. Luckily the wheelchair was close enough to the pool's edge for him to do it.

"Scamps... you are the most beautiful, caring and nice mare I ever have met. I wish that I will never have to let you go, I wish I can keep you here forever..."

The first second already was gone when Airy finished his words. In the second one Airy was tightly holding Scamps with one hoof, and one other second later the hoof was replaced by a rope that held together her fore hooves and her wings.

The rest wasn't that hard. Using his mouth he knotted the endings of the rope so Scamps couldn't escape.

"Well... I guess now you're all mine, my dear. Normally I use this to hold the stuff on my wheelchair, but now it's holding you, I guess."

Remember how I said you literally took Airy's cute childness and innocence away?

 

Yeah...

 

Well, look what you started. He is an insane master mind now. Most ponies just go to the pool, but no...

 

Her grin held, and her imitation continued, even though she was slightly frightened now. "Oh, my dear Airy. I was all yours the whole time. But I supposse, oh no, I'm trapped with an incredibly hot stallion who keeps kissing me in amazing ways and giving my life pleasure. My oh my, what shall I ever do?" She threw her hoof over her forehead to imitate distress, and then went back to grinning.

Airy's grin slowly turned into a caring smile. "Oh Scamps, did you really think I was going to do any harm to you? What kind of coltfriend would I become if I wouldn't let you go after I got total control over you? I just have one condition. I will release you once you admit that I won."

"You think you've won? You've hardly gotten started, my darling, I gurantee. I'm still waiting for my surprise. Given, it looks like I'm starting to get it, being tied up and all."

 

"But my dear Airy, you are a far way from winning in my book. So I sugjest you get on with the show and work your magic. Even though that's my job."

Airy's smile immediately returned to a grin. "This still isn't enough surprise for you? I must admit, I am impressed. You really like it a little more... exciting, I guess. But... I can't go any further here, even with your permission. So if you want more than just that, you'll have to wait."

 

Airy suddenly released the rope again, and his face was filled with a little bid of sadness. "No... No, I can't do this..."
