This is going to be a Military Based RP with some physiological/supernatural elements to it

this will be a pony RP, if you dont have a human OC just humanize your pony one

 

The set up:
The year is 1970, a squad of soldiers is sent into a remote part of the jungle in Vietnam, what they find will shock them.

It sounds like a cool idea. Try makeing the setting a marines boot camp (with ponys of course). That should give you all you need because, the training regime for a marine tears them down mentally and physicallyly. I am not a writer, i just thought this would be a good idea.

Hmm, i don't know i was thinking a squad of people get sent in some where when things get weird, I don't know if it should be like supernatural, insanity, aliens, all of those? I'm not sure, I'm also a little unsure of the setting, jungle? desert? some where else? Also weather it should be pony or not is something I'm on the fence about as well.

Well, I guess you always could do it in a desert, or dense jungles. A bit like the Lingshan Islands in Crysis. I don't know about the weird things though, Crysis had aliens but the whole alien thing is getting bland for me. Something supernatural would be awesome. For example, some sort of signal or something that messes with people's minds.

 

And pony or not? Well it depends. Ponies have always been awesome but IMO it's easier to imagine a military RP either with anthro's/humanized or simply human.

A jungle sounds cool, i think im either going with that or an abandoned city or something, and i think ill go with supernatural elements, probably find a way to throw in insanity in there too.

 

Also another note, if the players have any questions about military equipment i would be happy to answer since I'm knowledgeable on the subject.

An abandoned city sounds cool. Still needs a setting though. You could go the Spec Ops: The Line way or more Crysis 3 like wih jungle plants and all that. Or, a city like it had been abandoned in a hurry, with no trace of anyone or any evacuation procedures.

Id try a vietnam base if you want a jungle. I reccently read a book called Fallen Angels (i think thats what its called). It was about a soldier in the war, there was alot of suppence and mystery.

I like the Vietnam idea, also it gives a source for said supernatural activity,using like ancient oriental spirits and stuff, I like it.

Well, so far I'm thinking a squad of soldiers is sent into the jungle, they fight some enemies and encounter like some ancient ruins and supernatural stuff happens, that's all I've got so far, I'm leaning toworrds a Vietnam setting like late 60's early 70's kind of thing

Well i could try i have never been in a role playing post(?) befor  so i dont know how i would do. Oh and me inspiring you inspired me to make a very quick drawing of what a pony in nam would look like. so here it is lol. its not the best but i did it ln like 5 mins.

Well, this is coming along great, I still want at least 2 more people before i start it up, making the main squad a team of 5.

I think in going to keep like this for the rest of the day then ill switch it to searching because I still want a few more people.

its not that hard, just humanize your current one, that what i normally do if come across a human RP

there arent official roles, however if you want fill a role im totally cool with it, and yeah ill change it to a pony RP
