I'm guessing it will be the US, NVA (North Vietnamese Army) and the VC (Vietcong, which were like guerrilla forces)? Maybe even South Vietnamese Army, though that does seem unlikely XD

Yeah, you guys will be US soilders, fighting the VC , along with supernatural elements, I might look up some stuff so I know a bit more

Yay! No idea what role to fill though. I can think of roles that can be filled in a squad or army but I don't know what role to actually fill.

The radio went dead, giving the ponies some information to help them on their way, however, the helicopter was attacked by the enemy.

Sapphire waited.... She then jumped. The air was curving around her, she almost got hit. She just missed geting hit a few times, this was no biggy. Sapphire pulled her cord. The air around her stoped... She fell faster "WHAT? NOOOOO!" The cord fell off. She smacked face first into a tree

 

 

Striker took the radio from the pilot, and opened the other side door, "right then all of you out, Rick you stay on that turret until everyone is out! I will be the last out. Now then... MOVE MOVE MOVE!" Striker yelled, he always loved shaking up the soliders a bit,

In all of the confusion, Rick was trying to find a sharp knife so he could try carrying the minigun around, and to salvage any unused bullets. However, the chopper couldn't take much more. He screamed

"EVERYONE JUST BUCKING JUMP ALREADY! THIS CHOPPER IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE, AND I WAS TOLD TO GET OUT LAST!"

He was actually incredibly unsure about it exploding in incredibly soon, but he thought the faster he was out, the better. Also, having a minigun would be quite ironic to him. He would name it 'Irony'. However, as he was trying to remove it, he realised that he actually wouldn't be able to carry it. He just thought 'oh well.' and then 'DIE GORILLAS!'
