Out of the mane 6, it was only Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie who had survived the war, and they were in grief over the tremendous loss..

Cadence and Shining Armor gets out of hiding and takes over, and all of Equestria is debating what should be the new capital: The Crystal Empire or formerly Discord's capital.

Cadence and Shining Armor get into an argument regarding what city should be made capital, and temporary go their separate ways; Shining Armor becomes a Representative for The Crystal Empire and Cadence becomes Representative of formerly Discord's capital.

It hasn't been easy for the mane 3; with the smart Twilight, bold Applejack, and creative Rarity gone, there was a lack of leadership that only Rainbow Dash can barely make up for.

Then the mane 3 made robot clones of the other 3 due to Twilight's spell.

At least tried to anyways, but the robots were quickly shown to be dysfunctional, so they were dismantled, and pony auditions were then being hosted so that the Mane 3 can carefully choose the top three ponies worthy enough to join.

This was their second attempt at building the robots, and once again they failed and gave up; the mane 3 once again continued on with the pony auditions.

As the Doctor was trotting on his way to his TARDIS, which was hidden behind Sugar Cube Corner, Pinkie notices him and begins to follow suit.

Pinkie then tackles the Doctor and gives him over hundreds of questions regarding who he is and why she has never seen him before; unfortunately the Doctor can barely understand her.
