No they don't, nor do they know that one of my brothers is also one. I know that my brother is a brony, but he doesn't know that I know, and he also doesn't know that I'm a brony.

NO WAY! And I'm not about to tell them! My mom would be fine with it though she would probably give me odd looks and maybe a tease or too but my father...oh I would never hear the end of it! Let alone my step mother!

My parents don't know either. I can Imagine it being fairly awkward trying to explain.. I don't think they would mind.. But they would probably tease me for the next decade of my life (maybe that's a slight exaggeration) xD I'm sure they'll find out sooner or later, but until then I'm happy that they don't know. However... I really want to order some merch :L

my parents would do the same thing xD

Yes, and they are brony & pegasister too.

Once again, parents and other ppl may be discouraging us to be bronies/pegasisters due to the "girlish/childish" reputation given by mlp's previous generations.

My dad knows I watch the show and he's seen me wearing a few pony shirts, but I don't think he knows what a brony is. I probably won't actually explain it unless he wants me to.

Yeah my parents know and it's no more odd to them than my love for comic books and Transformers (or maybe it is and they don't tell me). I'm proud to be a brony, so what they think of it regardless wouldn't affect me all that much. Also, we're all pretty open with each other and have some unique interests of our own, so I could collect barbies and they'd probably care less, however my dad was giving me a bit of criticism earlier when I told him I was going to BronyCon next year, which is on the opposite side of the country from where I live. In general, everything's good on this end  :squee:

My mom knows I like My Little Pony... Then again, it was perfectly normal for me to like it when they bought me Firefly, Bowtie, and Mimic.

She went off a little when I was telling her about the show and said 'Discord is their greatest enemy' or something like that, but I think it was her interpretation of the statement because she calmed down when she learned it was just Q.

My father does, and my step brother is edging closer to becoming a brony, it was his friends rather than me who introduced him to MLP, nevertheless, my father is a good sport and a gentleman, and he has no problem with MLP nor bronies, furthermore he is sympathetic to MLP and appreciates the art and the glamour that the show has and what it can be. My mother on the other hand does not know, but even if I told her she would have me committed, as she has this stigma against people with disorders, not only that she has a degree in psychology, which she treats as a licence to judge people, based on desire and culture without ever studying the group in anyway, shape or form. My mother and the rest of my relatives are very judgemental, and have peculiar prejudice for the youth, me and the young adults in my family included, the typical gender stereotypes and age stereotypes, that men and women have a traditional role and should never cross that precarious path, and someone our age should accordingly, repress and conform to the norms of their past, however, I will remain a brony no matter what resentful remark of old order, we know what the show is and the morals presented to us, and maybe at sometime we may be appreciated, that is my most congeal wish.

They know I'm a pegasister/brony, yep. They don't really have a problem with it! They poke fun at me occassionally, but that's just them being them. They've bought me merch before, and I'm glad they didn't judge me for it. That would have been....awful, and I'm really sorry to any of my fellow bronies who go through that. Being judge for liking a show...ridiculous.

Sorry, getting off topic. But yeah, they're cool with it, darn right.

My mum knows that I'm a brony. She doesn't mind, but she doesn't understand why I like it so much (probably because she never liked it as a kid, most likely due to someone she knew when she was younger who BEGGED her to do the hair on her pony toys).

No they don't know, my friends do, my friends embrace my bronyness. Should I tell my parents I'm a brony cause my dad and I watch The Powerpuff Girls together (because him and my big sister would watch it when she was younger). My dad has caught me watching mlp a couple times, and I think he's a little indifferent about it. But my mom doesn't like The Powerpuff Girls. So should I tell my mom or dad first?

Yep, I visited them yesterday wearing a 'Join the Herd" T shirt.  They wanted to know what it meant.  They think it's really weird, and I think it's the funniest thing ever!

My mom is certain that My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is occultic, so since I don't live with her, I can conveniently not drop that little bit of information to her. She'll never know- not in this lifetime.

Yes they both know.  Had pony stuff in my room and they questioned me.  Brother then told them about bronies.  At this point they don't mind it.  They approve of the music I make which is mlp related.

I never told my parents as i'm unsure of how they would react. I don't think they would accept it knowing them. Don't get me wrong my parents are great but there's no need to go stirring the pot as I have 1 semester left of college left and am currently living at home. Maybe they would react this way or maybe it's just my brain going to the worst possible situation.
