Now safely inside, Pondah breathed a sigh of relief. The home felt warm, welcoming and, perhaps most importantly, secure. Pondah walked up to the guard and asked, "Um... have you got a private room I can borrow to... calm down because you've seen what I was like outside and I wouldn't like to cause any trouble so I'd like to get that with out of me."  Pondah scratched the back of his neck whilst talking to calm himself down a smidgen.

(OOC: That's happened to me more than a few times, I understand that situation. I wouldn't worry too much about it, I'm sure most will understand.)

 

Silver Heart smiled back or at least she tried to. Her bruises still hurt. "I..um..My name is Silver Heart." Silver looked around the room, "I guess I have you to thank for saving me. Do you have any idea what's going on?"

 

The mare shook her head, sighing. "Everypony seems to have gone crazy. Other than that... I'm not sure." She glanced towards the door, then smiled slightly. "My name is Maple Leaf. It's a pleasure to meet you."

 

 

A sudden click made her glance back towards the door as three stallions trotted in. (And from then on, refer to the above post)

The guard nodded, pointing out a small side door. "You can rest in there. When you're... better, come and join the rest of us."

Pondah entered the side-room and closed the door behind him. The room was completely bare except for a soft carpet. With the door closed no light could enter the room, leaving it completely dark. Pondah found an especially soft piece carpet and sat on it, facing away from the door, to relax. He sat perfectly still, trying to completely blank his mind of all thought.

"Alright, so long as Pondah can calm himself down, there should be few other problems right now," Curious thought to himself as Pondah excused himself.

 

"So, there's another pony here? I can assist you in nursing her, if you want. I've got some experience in that regard." he said to Maple.

The mare nodded, brushing aside a curtain to reveal Silver Heart. "Here she is. She took a nasty blow to the side in the scuffle. I've been treating her as best I could, but I'm not very experienced with medicine." She stepped aside, returning to her husband.

After a few moments of sensory deprivation, the worry and fear in Pondah's body was gone. 'Only when cut off from all stimuli can we find true peace.' Pondah thought as he left the side-room. Upon leaving, he saw a new mare in another room. Whilst peeking round the corner, he could see she was clearly injured. 

 

'If only I was a doctor. I could help out right now...'

Curious walked up to the injured mare. She clearly experienced some trauma, probably bucked in the side. There were a few cuts, probably either from the hoof of the attacker or from hitting the pavement. 

 

"Thankfully, it doesn't seem to be too serious."

 

Curious began by unwrapping his enchanted scarf and and laid it on top of the mare. "Um, typically I would wrap, but I don't even know your name, mine is Curious. How's your head, did you hit it on the way down?"

(OOC: Are the healing effects of the scarf instantly noticeable? If so I'll come back and edit this post.)

 

Silver Heart smiled, "It's nice to meet you, I'm Silver Heart. I...think my head will be fine." She looked from Curious to the scarf. "So...not to be rude but why did you give me your scarf?"

((It's kinda like getting a massage in that it just helps to relax muscles, so it's not proper healing. It's not necessarily immediately noticeable))

 

"It's nice to meet you Silver Heart, though I do wish it was during better circumstances. I gave you my scarf because it has a minor enchantment, should help relax your muscles to speed the recovery." Curious paused, for he did have an ulterior motive to volunteering to nursing Silver Heart.

 

"Umm, I know you got knocked out in the whole process, but you wouldn't have noticed anything during the whole event?"

"That's interesting, I don't think I've heard of a scarf with an enchantment like that." Silver Heart paused while she wrapped the scarf around her neck before smiling at Curious, "Well lending me your scarf is very kind, thank you." 

 

Silver Heart's smile darkened, "No, I don't think I did. I just watched the Princesses try to attack the cloud by flying into it. I watched for a few minutes before somepony attacked me. They never came out did they?"

Seeing that this new mare was not an enemy, Pondah took a breath and approached Gale and the new mare. He still didn't trust her though and instead of engaging in conversation with her, Pondah instead chose to hide behind Gale and whisper softly to him,

 

"Who's this new pony? Is she sane or crazy?"

 

Unlike upon Pondah's first encounter in Canterlot, he was not trembling with fear. Around Gale and the guard he felt safe.

He turned back to Silver Heart, "Silver Heart, this is Pondah." Curious leaned into Silver Heart's ear to whisper, "I think he got separated from his parents. Poor colt is absolutely terrified."

Upon finding out that the mare was not crazy, Pondah breathed a sigh of relief. "Sorry. I've been awfully nervous today what with the light dusting of carnage and chaos. So, as Mr. Curious said, I'm Pondah. Glad to meet somepony else who isn't crazy."

 

Pondah looked down at the floor, almost ashamed at his nervousness and aprehension to greet the new mare.

Silver Heart politely smiled at Curious' joke and she continued to do so despite the news regarding the colt. She stood up and walked over to the colt, "Don't worry about it, after what's happened today I think pretty much anypony would be worried about some strangers."

 

Silver Heart turned back toward Curious, "Thank you again for your scarf. It's surprisingly comfortable." Silver Heart leaned forward so that she could whisper into his ear "Do we know anything about his parents or family?"

Even though Pondah couldn't hear exactly what Silver whispered to Curious, he took the jist it was about him. A small frown spread across his face, replacing the previous neutral expression.

 

"Great, a new set of ponies and even they talk about me without letting me know. Can I trust anyone?" He thought whilst leaving the room with the pair in. He wondered down the corridor and turned back into the isolated room he had been in earlier.

 

"If I can't trust these ponies, I may as well just stay away. Like usual... Awww... is wickle Pondah scared? What a wimp. I bet you'll be a Colt Cuddler when you're older, you piece of scum."

 

Pondah hunkered down as a single tear escaped his eye.
