You know...

I like you. I really do. But you're about 4/5ths of the way to being removed from this RP for good. 

1) Crystaline super mutant ponies? When where they approved? No.

2) Killing Crystal Onyx soldiers without a chance to react - understandably they're NPCs, and I don't think you where in the RP for the introduction - but they're tough, to say the least, a normal soldier would not be able to kill them by themselves, this was established as I am keeping track of the (24) that I currently have, and they are not to be used in fighting aside from the most important battles. 

3) Arrow is currently in the middle of that commotion, he would have reacted against your ponies no doubt in that time. 

4) Again, you weren't here, but Harmonic has already demonstrated the ability to choke a unicorn soldier to near death while holding a conversation with another. 

 

Edit your last post, remove the super ponies and i'll consider holding the straw that breaks the camels back. 

Just to be clear, no i'm not saying you can't attack him if you want to, that's totally fine. 

You just need to stop godmodding by bringing in more characters without permission and denying reactions from other player controlled characters. 

 

And as I remember, Steeleye was knocked down to two others in his charge. Not 20.

Steeleye + 2 other minor characters + 20 (that have not been approved, and will not be), Harmonic and his command (8 of each race) outnumber him by 1. 

However, it's been established how skilful the Crystal Onyx are, and why I would be hesitant to use them in a battle involving another player. Not to say I wont, however they're not going to die without a bloody good fight if I do. (Which is why when we do get into fighting factions, i'll be taking them along but using a regular group for fighting with, so you can fill your quota on bloody murder as you please)

 

The unicorns would still be weak(er) from their attack on Appleloosa, but the Pegasi and the Earth ponies would still be perfectly capable of full frontal combat. I can't remember exactly what was agreed on with them, but i'm pretty sure it was something along the lines of "The Crystal Onyx would almost match player characters in terms of fighting skill." That's not to say they wont die, but they're the kind of characters you see in a game who simply make you go "Well, shit. Best stay outta their way."

 

Not to mention the fact Harmonic could whistle and have the entirety of the Crystal Army come barreling down on his position within minutes.

Exactly that. Cicada also kinda likes Harmonic, tho she's not going to admit it to anypony, so she could call up changelings to help as well.

 

Chrysalis would be furious too if Harmonic was attacked; she wants him alive, simply cuz he's more useful to her alive and bespelled than dead.

It doesn't matter though, you don't need to get too far ahead if you don't feel like it, you could drag out the journey over a couple of posts if you like, because i'm going to keep things slow until Ano returns so she's not left behind again. This will be the second major part we've done and she's had to leave again

I will point out this, I sliced my named sub-characters down to one, Darting Route. Steeleye still has his own troops, much as Harmonic has his and Sanguine's troops of psycho/robotic assassins.

Also, I have said before (and no one objected when or after I said it) that Steeleye has a large number of ponies he employs as agents. I also said that he will use these, and I am.

 

All that said and done, he still only has ten scouts with him. Darting Route is included in that number. And he didn't just teleport to the middle of the fighting. While I'm certainly not going to drop him right on top of Harmony, I landed him within a couple hundred meters, as this is a surgical strike rather than an all out frontal assault.

Point out what you like, I will point out the fact that are godmodding -again- and i've been far too lenient with it in the past.

You where told to ask before bringing in other troops into the RP, and the chances are they where not objected to because either 1) It went unnoticed (as I do not recall it being said at all) 2) we assumed you would actually be using normal ponies, not random mutants that no one has ever even heard of. 

 

Sanguine has a small contingent of assassins. They're in and out before numbers factor into it, and he doesn't fight with them meaning that he could have an unlimited number in theory, as they are never seen. 

HistoricallyInnacurate has his own squad much like Harmonic, however as I understand his troops will be fighting and will be replaced.

Also, your scouts (when where they agreed to? I dont remember exactly) are going to be just that - scouts. Not seasoned veterans of countless battles, as are Harmonic's guards. That's not to say they don't have their strengths, i'm just saying to think about things - again. His guards are going to be ready for a fight - especially as they are in one right now, you're not going to catch them off guard. 

 

Also as has been pointed out, Harmonic would be capable of killing Steeleye in seconds. All he would need to do would be lift him magically and choke him to death, while Cecy places a magic jammer on his horn preventing him from countering. 

 

Here are you options.

It's already been edited to nix the mutants. (Cause they are, indeed, overboard.) As well, you're not giving me a lot to work with. Hamonic is apparently an OP Arnold Schwarzenegger super soldier with magic on a level somewhere just below Twilight and Queen Chrysalis, whose soldiers are also ultra warrios of death and such. Steeleye's strengths -rely- on bringing more people to the field and using unconventional tactics. As well, I -highly- doubt that the regular army is just going to watch while thousands of civilians are being executed. Even given that they did, the Crystal Onyx, powerful as they are, aren't going to be having it all their own way against a large group that is fighting for their lives. Especially when they are not at full power.

Are we really arguing about who is bringing in OP characters here? 

 

Ok. Points. 

1) Harmonic's magical abilites so far are listed as teleportation, asphyxiation, voice amplification and levitation. That's it. 

2) He's physically strong thanks to living a rough life, and intelligent, yes. I countered that by having him somewhat of a psycho in a fight. He would be easily goaded and generally let his bloodlust get the better of him. Also, I don't know if you noticed or not be he has not yet used his asphyxiation magic for more than demonstrative purposes - once - at the very beginning of the RP. 

3) You forget he is Princess Cadence's second. He's going to have received at least the basic training every soldier would receive. Yes, including yours. But as well he's going to have decent armour and weapons. Have you ever heard of Lu Bu? 

4) The regular army stands obedient to Cadence, and as you've said yourself they serve out of fear. They'd be happy to get away with their lives.

5) They're not slaughtering innocents, they're killing an unlisted number of conscripts it's probably not going to even reach triple figures. Farmers and such, they wouldn't have much of a fighting chance against a rabid squirrel, let alone guards. 

6) The Crystal Onyx ARE indeed OP and I am aware of this. This is thanks to the fact that 1) Once they die, they die. I'm not going to be getting them back. 2) They're an elite squad, designed to be the lawbringers of the RP, if you will. Deus ex machina solutions etc. 3) I will rarely use them for anything except killing NPCs and standing around looking mean. 

7) I will agree that there's a good chance some of the Onyx may well get injured, but they are at full strength, there are only the unicorns who are currently not up to par, and they don't fight as much as they do confuse and assist the other guard with healing and the likes. (Not that that has ever been mentioned, i've never had the chance) Also, the weapons the conscripts are using would likely break before they penetrated the Onyxs armour. It's made from hard crystal, after all. 

 

If you REALLY want to argue about being OP, I could list many a point against yourself, such as exploding crossbows, apparently being able to read thoughts, controlling his own emotions on a whim in order to deceive changelings, booby trapping half of Equestria, gaining access to the inside of the Crystal Palace through various means (some of which I can understand), magically charged energy weapons (which I have not mentioned because I know i've been harsh on you with knocking back your ideas because you don't ask) randomly pulling an army of mutants from nowhere. 

 

And i'm sure there are several others I have forgotten. 

Point being, we have two completely different characters - Harmony is a brute and a psychopath, he'd much prefer crunching something beneath his hooves than he would do talking it out.

Steeleye is an intelligent and controlling scout who likes to know everything about his situation and his chances etc, the way you're writing him out however, it seems - at least to me - that you're trying to come up with counters and loopholes for every little detail about everything and trying to fob it off with him being a planner.

Higurashi, I think it's in your best interest to bow out. This arguing is ridiculous. You are not in control of this RP, and I feel that agent was being very reasonable. I'm afraid that I must ask you to leave based on your behavior. I'm not out to get you, but this is unacceptable. I would not mind RPing with you in the future, but you need to learn to respect the leaders of a RP. I'm sorry it came to this, but I won't have this pointless bickering. I wish you luck in your future RPs.

I don't see why not, we needed to get something moving and it seemed like a logical step to take.

On a counterpoint, I can't imagine the changelings would have moved in with their changeling form and then changed while they where there, especially not if Chrysalis lead them in, she would have likely had them change WAY out of sight. But still it's as good a point as any to finally get things moving
