Curious gasped for breath when his kiss with Mystic broke, "her breath reeks of alcohol! I mean, it was last time as well, but I wasn't nearly this sober!"

 

His breath escaped him once again, when he saw Mystic go right up to Vinyl and prench((note: as in of Prance)) her. "ACT!" Curious looked at the glass of diluted wine he still had half empty, and without thinking he splashed it in Vinyl and Mystic's faces.

 

"That's quite enough of that!"

 

Curious then realized gravity of the situation, who exactly it was he had just splashed his drink into. "Look, I know I just led you astray, but trust me when I say this: ACT"

 

Curious immediately turned and flew up towards the ceiling, really hoping there was no sharp objects in the telekinetic reach of either of the mares. "Umm, Windy, bro? Back up?"

 

"did you just call me bro?"

 

"Shut up, Mindy"

 

 

Vinyl's eyes lit up as she turned her head and kissed her back. She giggled a bit and tugged at Windy's hoof and followed Mystic. "Come on, that means we're going too, sweetie. This is going to be a fantastic night." She then leaned in and whispered to Mystic, "And it's gonna remind us of the good old days."

Mystic looked to Curious and then to Vinyl

"I don't know, HIC I might have hurt Curee-usses feelings, It sssssshould just be hiim and me tonihght."

she leaned in to whisper in Vinyls ear

"maybe a other time wish just you and me"

she looked back up to Curious

Curious let out a very nervous chuckle, and tugged at his scarf to the point it almost unwrapped from his neck. "Um, yeah. Let's go. Like..." Curious eyed Vinyl very coldly, though still with a hint of fear, "immediately".

Curious let out a very nervous chuckle, and tugged at his scarf to the point it almost unwrapped from his neck. "Um, yeah. Let's go. Like..." Curious eyed Vinyl very coldly, though still with a hint of fear, "immediately".

"Ok, another time then." Vinyl nodded to Mystic and kissed her goodbye, then she glared at Curious. "And as for you... Lets just say I've killed ponies for less. Look at this! Do you fucking see this," she asked, pointing to her coat. "Do you know what it's going to take to get this out?!" After a moment of brooding, she took a deep breath and said, "Try not to make another stupid choice like that again."

Dogboots nodded in response to what the doctor had said. He was happy to hear that she would make it, but he detested having to wait to see her again. The stallion continued to pace back and forth, occasionally sitting down and picking up a magazine to kill additional time.

 

"Dogboots? You can see her now," One of the nurses said. She led the earth pony down the hall and finally entered the room where Cuppie Cake was.

 

"A-Are you okay?" He asked the sick mare. The colt wanted to face hoof himself just asking a stupid question like that.

Mystic took Curious' hoof and trotted outside of the bar, her soberness slightly coming back

she walked with Curious back to the apartment block and unlocked her door, she stumbled a little and then landed on her bed, rolling over to look at Curious

When Dogboots walked in Cuppie was talking very loudly flailing her hooves in the air wildly, "I don't caaaaaare how much rice is in your eyes I want all these turtles out of this room they're too noiseyyyyyy." But upon seeing the stallion her expression changed from exaggerated frustration to exaggerated joy, trying to sit up and waving her hooves in front of her towards the earth pony loudly, "ooooooooohh I get a play toy come here play toy I wannafjnbdhisjbeb." The effects of the pain killers was still strong and was long from wearing off. When Dogboots stepped closer Cuppie tried dragging him into a kiss but the nurses quickly reacted and stepped in pulling the two apart. Brushing off Dogboots a male nurse warned him, "don't get too close there might still be cinnamon in your mouth."

Dogboots frowned, but nodded in response to what the nurse had said. He walked out of the room to a nearby vending machine and inserted a few bits into two different machines. The stallion had purchased a bottle of water and some breath mints. In a way it was sort of an improvised mouth wash to get rid of any cinnamon that was left in his mouth. The earth pony soon returned to the room with both objects in hooves. He poured a few mints into his mouth and loud crunches could be heard and soon washed it down with some water. The stallion took a deep breath and exhaled loudly right in the male nurse's face.

 

"Better?" He asked sarcastically before sitting down next to Cuppie Cake. The earth pony wanted to kiss her but still couldn't.

 

"How are you feeling?" He asked the mare in a gentle tone. He held her hoof trying to signal that he would always be there for the pegasi.

Whining came from the room when Dogboots left and when he returned she sloppily tried to clap her hooves unsuccessfully until he took one of her hooves in his. With her free hoof she traced a line up the length of the hoof Dogboots was holding watching the trail she was making so intently that it didn't seem like she was listening until, "....19, 18, 17, 16...the put tubes in me," she looked up at him then a sly smile growing on her face laughing, "eheeheehee, I'm soooooooo high right now."

The stallion rolled his eyes and quickly retracted his hoof from the doped up Cuppie Cake. 

 

"They must have given her some anesthesia which would likely explain why she's acting so...weird,"

 

"Well it's good to see that you're all right or mostly," He said to Cuppie Cake who was waving her hoof in front of her face.

Cuppie Cake leaned in close lowering her voice and trting to put on a grave face, "the doctors know the secretssss," she shooshed him when he opened his mouth to speak putting a hoof to his lips, "Mr. Baloon says that they're gonna do esperimentssssss do you think they will?" She shushed him again, "don't leave promissssssss......sss."

As if right on schedual the male nurse trotted into the room saying, "alright visiting hours are over no exceptions." He walked over to the I.v. and adjusting knobs on a machine upping the dosage of sleep aid almost immediately Cuppies eyes began to droop as she trailed off, "promisssssse."

Still in the club with Vinyl, Windy grabbed her and begun dancing very close to her, grinding his hips into hers to try and get her mind back onto him. Leaning forward and whispering into her ear, he said, "Uh, babe, do you think you could tone back the flirting with Mystic a bit? I mean, I just don't like it. I feel like I have to share you... And I'm a greedy stallion. I don't do well sharing." He murmured, continuing to sway to the music with her, and resting his head on her neck.

Vinyl took another breath, closed her eyes, and nodded, then rested her head on his shoulder. She put her hooves back around his neck and kissed him. After a few more minutes of dancing, she took his hoof and started slowly leading him out. "Come on, lets go home."

"Should we go back to your home...? I mean, I think that Mystic and Curious are probably in my apartment..." Windy said, following Vinyl out of the club. "Come to think of it, I haven't seen your home yet. Would you be ok with us going back to your place?" Windy asked, kissing her on the cheek and spreading his wings to fly them where ever she wanted to go.

The stallion wrote down his number on a small piece of paper and left it near Cuppie's bed before leaving. Dogboots soon began to walk back home from the hospital to his apartment. Even though the storm had died down, it seemed like the city was still bustling with activity. The sounds of a nightclub were blaring away and could be heard blocks away. The music was definitely something that the earth pony enjoyed either.

 

After a rather lengthy walk the colt opened the door to his apartment, the muffins were still on the counter and still looked tasty. Though Dogboots wasn't really hungry at all. In fact, he was more tired than hungry and soon crashed on the broken down springy mattress of his. It wasn't long before he soon fell asleep and let his worries go for the time being.

"Puppyshoes no don't leave me Puppyshoes...." she said weekly but soon drifted off to a drug induced sleep the last thing she saw was the male nurse in his blue scrubs coming closer until he took up her whole field of vision before she blacked out.

Visions danced in her head Cook trying to give her a pair of boots but when Cuppie took them they changed into two silhouettes of unicorn mares laughing and mocking her while Cuppie began to shrink until she was about six years old and the mares kept growing taller and taller until they towered over Cuppie pointing and laughing. She turned to run but when she looked down and saw that she was standing on water and upon noticing this she fell with a splash, underneath the water jelly fish made of muffins floated around. Pound Cake and Carrot Cake were there they turned to her and said in unison, "doctors have secrets too ya know." 

Then she was in a room laying on a bed with ponies all around the ponies were in masks and were prodding her of sticks and needles. There was a balloon floating directly above her head, a smile on it and the words "get well soon" written on it. A pony that was especially close to her head moved his hoof in front of her face moving her bangs away from her face she tried to close her eyes but couldn't, "NOOOOOOO!" she woke up in a cold sweat panting, the moonlight shining through the window. "just a dream," she sighed.

"I'm sure Mystic went to her place — it's the only place she can get to by drunken memory — so lets just go back to your apartment. I don't think you'd really like my apartment anyway." Vinyl climbed onto Windy's back and held on tightly, resting her head on his shoulder.

Ok!" Windy said inwardly a bit disappointed that Vinyl didn't want him to go to her place, but still generally ok with how things turned out, since he had the distinct feeling he was gonna get laid again. Spreading his wings, he took off with a bit of a wobble due to the alcohol, but soon found his groove and began flying back to his apartment. As they approached his apartment, he asked, "You know, maybe this is asking too much Vinyl, but can you please tone back the flirting with Mystic? I mean, I had thought this would be an exclusive relationship, and it kind of makes me feel... I dunno, less valuable to you when I see you hitting on Mystic. Is that ok?" He asked, touching down on his balcony and letting her down off his back.

Curious readjusted his scarf, that nervous tick of his which helps him keep a calm mind. "Alright, I concede that Windy might've been right about a few things, including the need for me and Mystic to consummate our love. But..."

 

"This is all wrong!" Curious put his hoof to his face immediately, understanding that did not come out quite as he intended.

 

"I just mean... For one thing you are hammered. Two, there wasn't even a romantic dinner before hand. Three, I am totally unprepared mentally or... well, I don't have any sort of protection." Curious tugged at his scarf and sighed.

 

"Is this really the time to let your OCD get the better of you? What if Mystic was prepared for such? You wouldn't deny yourself or her then, would you?"

"I pick pocketed one off of Windy earlier. its alright, take a deep breath and relax."

she waited for him to calm down
