Minty strolled into the university. "Bye, mom! See you in four years!" she said, to her mom. She gazed at the sight before her. Everywhere was either glass, silver, or gold. She shook it off and headed for her dorm. She found that her dorm mates were Blazing and Windy Runner. ((darklord260 , Windy Runner ))

Windy Runner folded in his wings and begun a rapid descent towards his destination, Pony U. As he saw the location of the next four years of his life unfold below him, he felt a giddy smile crack his face. "Wow, I still can't believe Pony U accepted me! Such a good college letting in an idiot like me, its unheard of! Yeah, well, its only because you're a great soccer player Windy. So don't let your game slip, or they'll toss you like spoiled fruit! I got it brain, don't worry! Soccer is first priority, followed by mares, parties, sleeping, and lastly, classes. Wow, you've really got your priorities straight, don't you Windy? Oh, yeah, for sure!"

 

Touching down heavily at the main entrance to the campus, Windy began navigating the labyrinth of  buildings, streets, and locations, eventually finding the dorm building he would be staying in. Walking inside and grabbing a key for his room, he trotted up, not bothering to learn who his roommate would be. Pushing open the door of his dorm, Windy noted that somepony was already in here.

 

"Great, dudes, probably already strewn his stuff all over and staked a claim to all the good space... Oh wait, that's no dude... I'm rooming with a mare?? Score!! And a pretty mare too, from the looks of her!"  

 

Clearing his throat, Windy spoke up, "Uh hi there! I'm Windy Runner, your roommate. And you are?" he said, offering a hoof for a hoofbump.

Blazing had walked from his home about two miles away to get to this university. He had heard nothing but praise, and the fact the allowed him in was a little boggling. But then again his mom had a way with words so that may have helped. His first priority upon entering the building was to find his room. *I hope they're nice ponies* He thought as he walked through the corridoors. *I hate ponies who are full of themselves*. He made it to the dorm and opened to the door slowly to give whoever inside time to react. When he noticed that he was sharing with who seemed to be an athletic pegasus who could break him in two and a mare, his eyes went a nervous shade of orange as she pursed his lips in a sort-of want way and walked over to a bed for him to claim.

Royal Flush stretched in the cab he had hired, getting ready for university.

"University really isn't my thing, ya know?" He asked the driver. He had a slight (Boston?) accent, and his talking form was much more old-fashioned, and usually threw ponies off.

The driver just rolled his eyes. Royal hopped out of the cab and tossed a bag of coins to the pony who pulled the cab. He lifted his bags with his magic and set off into the school.

Pulling out his information letter, he wondered if it was a good idea to enroll in school now, quite a bit later, just to support some wild dream.

He decided that his old job was going nowhere, and if he wanted to lead the company he needed a degree. He found his room and hopped onto the couch, after that long cab ride he needed a rest.

After a few minutes of walking around campus, Rambler finally arrived at his dorm room. It seemed he had arrived before whoever it was that he'd be sharing the dorm with, so he decided to set his things down and strum his guitar for a while as he waited for them to arrive.

Minty looked down a bit, and mumbled her name. She was the shy pony all her life. She was always scared that she will slip up somehow. "It's.. M-Minty.." she muttered, seeing another pony walk in. "Nice to meet you.."

Blazing nodded. "uhh, hi. I'm blazing. Just uhh, umm yeah. Call me blaze. You know, I don't mind." He flipped open his suitcase and lowered his head so the glow on his horn was invisible. He pulled out a few things and organised them neatly nefore getting out a picture of his family and putting it on the bedside table.

Darkshift smiled reading his acceptance form "4 years of parties,hot mares and I guess studying"Darkshift began to fly to the location of the legendary university his black wings soaring through the sky.Eventually the University became visible at which point he landed with a little "fud"he again looked at his papers and searched through his little mini map until he found his dorm"Dorm 2,original name"he chuckled before trotting towards his location."Now who am I staying with?"Darkshift calmly asked himself before noticing the answer"Lightning Dancer,well that pony better be alright"he opened the door to his dorm.

After a short nap, royal decided he'd find out who his roommate was, after all if he was going to be living with somepony, he might as well know their name.

He looked through his papers, still laying on the couch, but couldn't find out where it would say it. 

Either he dropped a paper or was looking in the wrong place, he didn't ever find it. He got up to see if it was posted on the door.

"Denim*? What a strange name..." He trailed off, going back inside to get himself a drink.

Rambler set down his guitar and looked up as a mare- and admittedly a pretty attractive one- entered the room. "Yeah, I guess so. It's kind of odd that the school rooms stallions and mares together, but it's fine with me. I get the feeling we'll get along just fine. Anyway, I'm Rambler."

Tossing his saddlebags onto one of the beds, and beginning to pull out various necessities, such as soccer cleats, jugs of cider, and mane and tail conditioner, Windy called over his shoulder to Minty, "I really doubt you'll be a problem, Minty. You seem pretty chill and low-maintenance." Tossing his soccer ball onto the couch, Windy turned to Blaze, "Hey Blaze, nice to meet you bro. I'm Windy, Windy Runner." Extending a hoof for a hoofbump, he added as an afterthought, "Yo Blaze, you doing any sports? Cuz if you're one of those dunderheads who says football is more of a sport than soccer, we're gonna have... issues." Before Blaze had a chance to respond, however, Windy started snickering, then full out laughing. "Don't worry man, I'm just yanking your hoof!"

Shaking his head at the awkward conversation between his two roomies, Windy tossed himself onto the bed and started juggling his soccer ball with his hooves, trying not to look bored, but failing fairly spectacularly. Finally deciding to interject into the conversation, Windy leaned over the back of the couch to face the two ponies, saying, "Not to interrupt or anything, but what are you guys planning on studying here at the U? Or are you undecided?"

"We're starting to study tomorrow." Minty looked a bit hurt. "A-are you bored? Am I boring you..?" Minty sighed. "I know.. I'm a boring pony.."

Windy was in mid-juggle when he heard Minty's apology. Losing his concentration on the ball, it fell down and hit him in the face. "Ouch..." Windy muttered, rubbing his jaw, before turning to Minty. "No way Minty, you're totally not boring! Shy, yeah, but that's totally understandable, since we all don't know each other. Hey, and I was told I would be helping out teaching soccer classes, since I'm on the Varsity Soccer Team, so you might have me for a TA! I think it'd be super cool, and be sure to let me know if you ever need... private lessons."
