Help with Cutie Marks?

Hello there, friends! Toady I request help for cutie marks, I have three cutie marks that I need help with.

I have two of my OC's nearly completely figured out, with the third as a rough 'sketch' of a OC. What I am asking here is helping me figure out the cutie mark, not the talent of the pony but what the cutie mark itself would look like.

 

My first OC is a Unicorn stallion, named 'Midnight Shield' and his special talent is Swordplay. He has a ruffled, short blond mane, a deep blue body/coat and dark green eyes. For his cutie mark, I prefer it not to be two swords crossed, I find that I see that in a lot of OC's and feel it is overused. Also to add, that he isn't in the 'sport' of fencing, its quite literally fighting with swords and such in a life-or-death situation.

 

My second OC is a Pegasus mare, named 'Wispent' and her special talent is dancing. She has a long white mane, a light grey body/coat and dull green eyes. As a dancer, she isn't a ballet dancer, shes not a hip-hop or jazz dancer or whatever either, I don't exactly know what type of dance its called, but its very elegant and graceful, in a lot of her performances she wears a face veil and/or a skirt. I understand belly dancers and exotic dancers wear face veils, but she is not one of them.

 

My third OC is a Pegasus mare also, named 'Kismet' and her special talent is swimming. I'm not sure on her appearance though, apart from one thing; her wings. I got the idea when I was failing to draw a Pegasus, I made the gaps between the wing-things (I dunno what their called) quite small, it remind me of penguin flippers, it made me giggle but also an idea. This mare will have had a birth defect with her wings, her feathers are stuck together roughly and the between the gaps between are her wing-things "shorter" than normal wings, making them a tad like penguin flippers, leaving her unable to fly probably but naturally being able to swim well. The 'gaps' will not be really tiny, just half the size they would normally be.

This pony is quite cheerful, she is happy to help anypony as much as she can, but shes not very strong. She is more brave than not, but when gets a big scare from something (not like a jump-scare), she will cower in her fear and not be able to do much. She is shorter just by a bit than most pegasi and is afraid of heights, she prefers to be in the water than on land.

This pony, is ambitious and casual, she sees things very vividly and has a very good memory

for your first OC i think a blade of a dagger of some sort with a large red drop of blood hanging from its tip would fit it's talent pretty good

 

as for your second OC i could see a face veil with some very elegant strings entangling it would fit pretty good, considering that her dancing way is very gracefull.

 

and as for number 3 that one really is rather hard. but if it was my OC i'd probably give her something with water. maybe a whirlpool of some sort vieuwed from the top side with a large splash in the middle of it ( i really don't know)

The first sounds good, apart from the fact I really hate things with blood Implying blood in my OC's cutie mark would make me feel funny, but I do like the sound of a dagger.

The second sounds quite a nice desgin, I can see that happening but it sounds a tad busy, but maybe thats just my mind being negative after a tiring day

As for the third, it sounds good. I might use that, but I don't really know what you mean by 'top side', the splash in the middle also sounds like a nice compliment to it.

Okay, for the first one, I'm thinking maybe the ying & yang symbol, which represents opposites, such as life and death. Maybe have a sword going down the middle or something like that.

 

Okay for the second one, since she is graceful and elegant, maybe some kind of a flower such as a pink rose. 

 

On the third one, hmm... I'm not really sure, since I have no personality attributes to go off of. If you can give some insight on the personality then maybe I could think of something. Her defect wouldn't affect her cutie mark that much.

The first one, sounds.. Epic. I might very well use that, that refeclts well on his personality too, so thank you for that!

The second, I think sounds alright, but I don't think flowers represents her very well apart from her being elegant and her daughter's special talent is to do with gardens.

I'm not sure about the first one, but I was thinking that the second pony's cutie mark could be a bombox! Maybe add some music notes around it, as if it's playing.

 

The third pony's cutie mark could be a pair of swimming goggles!
