In the middle of unpacking his saddle bag another earth pony entered the room and began talking just a bit too loudly. Spark looked from the stallions hoof to his face raising a brow then turning back to his saddle bag he continued unpacking.

"Name's Spark Bolt, just call me Spark. I go to bed late and I get up early, dont make a mess and if you bring home any mares just try to keep any noise to a minimum." He turned to his new room mate at the last request giving an unfriendly grin before finishing his unpacking.

Already he could tell his roommate was shy. Regal shook his head at the stallion.

"Don't speak to me as if you were a lesser pony. You speak to me as an equal" -Did he has his name is grace or Techno?- Regal thought to himself. 

"Sorry if what i said before sounded harsh, I just don't like it when people look down on themselves" Looking out the window he thought of something.

"Well I'll be exploring the dorms. I'll be back soon" said Regal as he walked out the room.

"Oh ok bye now." Techo said, thinking about what Regal had said.

He then turned to his other roommate, and said,

"I don't know about you but I'm hungry." He said, pulling something out of his saddle bags.

"mmmm...Oatmeal flavored muffins." He took a bite like always, the delicious, delectable, breakfast-like taste is always stopped by his thoughts of other ponies having their cutie marks. His thought was ended, by once again, sleep.

Sunset Sky

 

Sunset jumped and squeaked, startled by the pony's enthusiasm.

"U-Umm, I-I think so... H-hi... U-Umm, what's y-your n-name?"

She backed away a bit and hid behind her mane. At least this pony didnt seem like she would be the bullying type, but that didnt make her any less shy.

Electro Dash came to realise that her roomate was the nervous type. "Oh. Oh your nervous. It's OK. I'll just take a step back and speak in a nicer way." She took a step back and clesred her throat.

"My name is Eoectro Dash. Can I have yours miss?" She asked as calmly as possible.

"M-my name's Sunset S-Sky..."Sunset replied. She kept unpacking her things and put a photo of her birth parents on her bedside table. It was the only thing she had of them, and it was probably on accident, too. She grabbed her sketchbook, pencil, and some of her books for reading and put them beside it.

"Um, I-is this your first day h-here too?"

"M-my name's Sunset S-Sky..."Sunset replied. She kept unpacking her things and put a photo of her and her adoptee parents((OOC: Note: her adoptee mother looks. Bit like Sunset and they're both Pegasi)) on her bedside table. She grabbed her sketchbook, pencil, and some of her books for reading and put them beside it.

"Um, I-is this your first day h-here too?"

Electro Dash nodded as she peeked over sky's shoulder. "yes. I have no idea what i'm good at either. But I think it will be parties. Because I'm always energetic and actiony and stuff!" She pointed at the photo and asked rather stupidly. "are those your parents"

Sunset shifted nervously on the bed, uncomfortable with the conversation and where it might be heading. She decided to change the subject."U-Umm, so... Where are y-you from? " she asked, wanting to write or draw but not wanting to be rude.

Regal was walking around the Hallways just to have fun. Still it seemed at little empty in the hallways.

"Where is everypony?" Regal said in the hallway. -Well I guess most ponies are still unpacking- Regal didn't much of anything with him when he moved into the dorms.

"Well. I'm from Canterlot. It's funny. I'm nothing like the ponies there. I live by myself. My parents think I'm a "hazard" to the rest of the family." Flare said. She plopped down on her bed. "What about you?"

A mare walked into the dorm-room. A new roommate.

"Hey, I'm Glowing Notes. You can call me notes if you want. I'm from CreinBrook a little town where lots of musicians live. Who are you?" Notes asked.

 

"I'm Lana. I'm from Canterlot. I'm nothing like the the ponies the really." Lana shook her hoof thinking about how she was already making some new friends.

Masquerade

Masquerade frowned as his first roommate left to explore the halls and his second roommate quickly consumed a muffin and fell asleep. The latter worried him more than the first.

But he was a little disappointed. He had thought that he would spend at least two hours talking and getting to know his two roommies. But I guess not. He thought with a sigh, and clambered onto his bed awkwardly. He pulled out a notebook and began writing a letter to his mom. He had promise to send her a letter as soon as he arrived.

Blue Splash

 

Blue Splashed beamed at Volt Switch, he hadn't anticipated this! He thought he would have an annoying roommate, or an anti social roommate. He hadn't expect the best roommate ever! He almost let out a squeal of delight when Volt Switch turned the light on with his electricity.

"Dude!" he exclaimed, bumping Volt Switch's shoulder playfully. "We are going to have so much fun!"

Nuuro blinked in surprise and dropped his hoof. He stood there for a bit at a loss for words, because no one ever reacted to him that way! They either laughed or they went along with him. The gravity of the situation crashed down beside him and he nearly groaned in exasperation. He had a lame roommate!

Or maybe he wasn't lame, maybe just really really awkward. So Nuuro smiled and trotted up to the stallion, extending his hoof for a hoofbump again. "Dude, take a chill tablet. Kick back, stop being such a tight wad!" he laughed and lugged his suitcase onto his bed.

Volt practically gave a sigh of relief. He had been so worried when he came here that he would get paired with a rude and anti-social roommate. He was so happy he got a friendly and upbeat roommate. Volt bumped Splash's shoulder back and went to th right side of the room. "I think I'll stay over here if you don't mind. We should probably unpack now."

Snow Song said as she placed her notebook, which already had a few songs in it, on her bedside table, alongside a framed picture of her and her parents. She finished unpacking and turned to Flare, a light smile on her face.

"Well, I'm going to explore the campus. Maybe find where my classes are. You can join me if you like."

"Haha, he's pretty cute." Glowing Notes commented as she walked over and petted Draco on the head. She turned back to her bed to finish unpacking her things.

"I like anything to do with music, but I love singing and playing guitar and piano the most." She answered.

Spark turned to face Nuuro a smile on his face, "look I know this is going to be hard for you to understand but I'm going to need you to try. We're not going to be 'bros' nor will we ever be, I'm just going to stay here for as long as it takes for them to realize that I don't have a special talent and then I'm gone. Got it? Im not here to make friend's in this place so dont bother trying."

Spark turn sharply placing a photograph of three small ponies on the night stand next to the bed. The picture depicted two earth ponies one was Spark Bolt when he was younger sporting an almost determined face and the other was a young mare wearing a huge grin. the last was another mare but this one was a unicorn and her smile was more meek.

Time Set Change!

 

A loud high pitched feedback noise sounds through the all of the dorm rooms, as the intercom turns on. The deep voice of an older stallion comes through it. "Stallions and Mares, it is now bedtime. So hit the hay and at 7:00 A.M tomorrow head down to the cafeteria for breakfast and from there you will head to your first class: Botany. Goodnight everypony."

"Sure thing!" Blue Splash answered happily and flung his suitcase onto the bed on the other side of the room. He quickly began to unpack his cloaks, boots, and school supplies, placing them in their corresponding locations. He winced when the intercom turned on but managed to get the gist of the message, after his ears stopped ringing.

 

"Well, I guess it's time to hit the hay!" He commented, and removed his suitcase from his bed. He let out a happy little sigh and snuggled down underneath his covers. "Night."

Nuuro recoiled at Spark's words, but quickly put the smile back on his face. He decided not to judge the stallion, as the guy was clearly intimidated by his immense coolness. "Aw come on, bro. No need to be all icy! I get that your nervous, and--" He stopped abruptly when he realized what the stallion had said.

 

"Don't have a special talent?! Everypony and zebra has a special talent!"

Nuuro honestly couldn't understand why his roomie was so...Not roomie! And it was crazy, because the picture that he had just put up, depicted a happier albeit younger version of himself. Nuuro was determined to put a smile on this dudes face before the end of the school year.

 

When the intercom came on, Nuuro shoved his suitcase onto the floor and flopped into his bed. "Okay, so I have to get my sleep. But we are so talking about this tomorrow, 'kay?"

All of a sudden, Flare's slumber was interrupted by a loud ringing noise. A voice told them that it was time to sleep. Flare put her mane in a braid, and put her pajama's on. She got under her blanket and fell asleep.

 

LANA

 

Lana just walked down the hallway when a extremely loud ringing noise that came from the intercom, told her that it was time to go to sleep. Lana took her hooves off of her ears (to protect them from the noise.) She swore under her breath as she walked back to her dorm. She got ready for bed and fell asleep.

Sunset jumped at her roommate's voice. She had gotten caught up in writing and hadn't noticed the mare peeking over her shoulder. 

"U-umm... yes... Umm... th-thank you... I-I like to write..."

She noticed the time and started putting her things away when a loud noise sounded and a voice told them to go to sleep. She squeaked at the noise, then quickly got ready for bed.

She somehow fell asleep quickly, but her dreams were riddled with memories of the orphanage.

 

Snow Song had just finished exploring the campus and returned to her room when the intercom came on. she sighed, then got ready to go to bed and went to bed. it didn't take her long to go to sleep.

 

Glowing Notes checked the time and sighed as the intercom went off. It was earlier than she was used to. she quickly got ready and went to sleep.

Spark sighed flopping back onto the matress and stared up at the ceiling and whispered,"yea....maybe." he was exhausted from his trip but knew that he wouldn't be able to fall asleep for a while but he soon heard the soft even breath of his new roomate assuming Nuuro had fallen asleep. After a few hours of tossing and turned Spark finally followes suit.

Time Set Change

 

The intercom crackles to life, but this time a soothing mare voice wafts through the speakers. "Good morning, Mares and Stallions, this is your vice principal Frilly Feathers speaking and telling everyone to wake up, and head to the cafeteria for breakfast. Posted on the walls in the cafeteria are everyone's schedules. Find your name and commit your schedule to memory. Have a pleasant breakfast everypony!"
