Impetus hasn't broken out of the trance yet. Recovering from almost skewering himself on the knife, he lunges at Minty. "I'm... not... done... with you yet!" he pants, sending a hoof lashing out towards Wintergreen in an effort to do something unpleasant to her.

"W-wait!" Minty stuttered after Silver, frightened. She trotted after him. "What's happening?" she asked, stopping him. She looked behind her at the so-called villain. She instantly grew nervous. She found that she liked this stallion, but didn't want to show it. She tried to shake it off and wait for Silver's answer.

 

"Minty.. where is Cinderblock?" Silver felt in a panic. Had this new stallion hurt her? At least Minty seemed to back to her usual self. Trying to collect his wits, Silver quickly explained.

 

"You were enchanted, or something... I tried to stop you from.... Oh never mind! We are in urgent need here! Follow me"

"Dammit Impetus! Snap out of it" He tried to restrain the stallion but found him a lot stronger than Minty had been. There was nothing for it... Silver Note dealt him a mighty wing slap

"Stay behind me Minty", he instructed the little green mare "Impetus is enchanted, tell me, how did  you snap out of it? Do you remember anything at all?"

"Aha, you." Redwave noticed Minty looking... considerably more helpless than when he had seen her last. "Miss, if we could avoid any incidents which involve you trying to kill me, I would appreciate it. Lets not get... STOP DOING THAT!"

 

He pointed the blade at Impetus as he lunged.

 

"Can everypony PLEASE stop trying to KILL each other? You call yourselves a crew? Look at you all!"

 

 

 

(Think theres some overlap, just trying to merge people situations back together)

"Minty.. where is Cinderblock?" Silver felt in a panic. Had this new stallion hurt her? At least Minty seemed to back to her usual self. Trying to collect his wits, Silver quickly explained.

 

"You were enchanted, or something... I tried to stop you from.... Oh never mind! We are in urgent need here! Follow me"

 

He galloped forward calling Cinders name

 

Silver groaned inwardly.

 

"Dammit Impetus! Snap out of it" He tried to restrain the stallion but found him a lot stronger than Minty had been. There was nothing for it... Silver Note dealt him a mighty wing slap

 

*Wack!*

 

"Stay behind me Minty", he instructed the little green mare "Impetus is enchanted, tell me, how did  you snap out of it? Do you remember anything at all?"

 

 

"Before I trotted away from them, I saw Cinder at the camp. She was lying on the floor. She WAS with Lyona.." Minty said, fiddling with her hooves while she followed Silver. "I think she's still there!" she said hopefully. "Or she might be grey.. oh no.." Minty said frightened.

(( This is Minty's reaction right now. 

))

 

Minty looked at Impetus scared. "N-no.. I don't remember anything. What did I do?" Minty asked, cowering in fear, going behind Silver.

 

 

"Aha, you." Redwave noticed Minty looking... considerably more helpless than when he had seen her last. "Miss, if we could avoid any incidents which involve you trying to kill me, I would appreciate it. Lets not get... STOP DOING THAT!"

Minty turned around quickly. "I tried to kill you?" Minty fondled with her mane. "I wouldn't dare.." she said, looking down. "I can't believe I actually have the nerve to talk to him.." she thought to herself, as she looked up, blushing still.

Impetus shakes his head, dazed. But being a wing, it was feathery and soft, not hurting too much, only stunning him for a few brief moments, and halting his attempt to

 

"You too, Silver Note?" growls Impetus, his blue eyes growing deeper and narrowing into slits of dark azure. With a snarl, he started to attack Silver, but then, suddenly out of his peripheral vision, he saw Redwave lunging at him. The Royal Guard whirled and stepped aside, sending a foot out in an attempt to trip Red.

"Can everypony PLEASE stop trying to KILL each other? You call yourselves a crew? Look at you all!"

 

Silver Note glanced sideways at Redwing, there was no time now to sus out if he was friend or foe, Minty was in trouble. She looked terrified. He stood his ground between her and Impetus, watching his impending approach. 

 

Then he noticed that the new stallion was lunging at Impetus with a lance.

 

"Oh no you don't," He said to Redwing. "Enchanted or not, that is my friend! We are more than just a crew!" His brave and loyal side kicking in, Silver shifted his position until he now between Impetus and Redwing. He knew that this could be his downfall, but there was no risk he wouldn't take for a friend in need. He prepared  himself for the impending clash of male ego's. 

 

((OOC - have the distinct feeling Silver is never going to get along with Redwing LOL hes too arrogant and self serving for humble little Silver!))

She backed up to a tree, trying to avoid the fight, and hid behind a bush. She still looked behind the bush for precaution, though. "And look at Redwave.."  She thought to herself.

The lake! Of course! Thought Silver.

 

Silver turned and grabbed Impetus around the middle and lunged forward, both wings flapping to gain momentum he plumetted into the river with Impetus under him

 

*Splash!!!*

 

Water sprayed in all directions soaking the two stallions. Hopefully that will bring Impetus back to his usual.... Well.... less than charming self but still better than this angry out of control Impetus.

 

What did this new stallion know anyway? He didn't know any of them or what they had been through. Did he even understand that his friends were not themselves? Arrogant, self centered son of a.... Silver paused in his thoughts, dragging a dripping wet Impetus out of the lake by his mane. He then turned to Redwing with a snarl 

 

 

"He is trying to kill you, you do realize that, yes?" Redwave said, still brandishing the sword in a dueling stance. "And two minutes ago he was trying to kill this filly? Admittedly she gave as good as she got, but still..."  

 

 

"Of course I realize that you ignorant mule! They are enchanted and you are the most likely suspect!" It was very unlike Silver to resort to name calling but he was quite frazzled. He'd lost Cinder, and was worried sick about her, Lyona was unconscious or dead for all he knew, half the party was lost in the forest, Impetus was charmed, Minty had been in danger and he seemed to be the only sane pony trying to hold it all together, and this new comer came wafting in thinking he was some kind of hero when it was Silver himself who was taking all the real risks. 

 

Wait, I'm missing somepony He thought to himself. Fireblaze! Where is she? He glanced around looking for the white mare.

Impetus shakes off the water, sputtering, and panting heavily. "Ouch... everything's numb, and the colors, everything's sort of greyish... What happened to me? More intoxication pranks?"

 

He looks at Silver and Red. "What's gotten into you, Silver? Who's that pony? What's going on?"

((Sorry, but dropping Impetus in the river is now a running gag. Rule of funny and all that.))

 

"Oh, right, Mhmm... Enchanted you say? I'm sorry, where you come from does that mean you lay down arms and let them fight to the death?" Redwave said without looking up at the pegasus, preferring instead to ensure that every last piece of foliage had been removed from his sword. "... because while noble, that tends to not be the best way to survive."

 

He turned his back to the indignant guard and quickly glanced towards the green pegasus mare.

 

"Are you all right hun? Sorry, never caught you name!"

Sitting beside an apple tree, watching as her coat of white started to turn into a very dull shade of grey. Her eyes started to turn into a very weak and dull color of red, as all of her memories almost started to fade away.

 

'' My hope is literally fading away, as everypony is on the brink of insanity. There might not even be a group left after today.'' Fireblaze's ears started to perk up weakly as she heard her name.

The lake! Of course! Thought Silver.

Minty eventually went out of the bush when she knew it was safe. "Is Impetus still trying to kill me?" Minty asked, looking over at the river to see that Impetus has regained his original coat color, and sighed in relief. She then noticed that Redwave was talking to her. She hid her blush by looking away, and looked down. "M-my name is Minty."

"In case you hadn't noticed Mr.... whoever you are...  I've been putting myself between them left and right at my own peril... and bringing them back to their senses, and what have you done besides wave that ridiculous thing around like some kind of discorded vigilianty. Silver noticed there was steam coming out of nostrils. "You're no worth it!" He concluded, galloping off to find Fireblaze. He had more important things to do, such as find Cinderblock and check on Lyona who'd been left alone in a clearing, probably dead. He would deal with this newcomer later.

 

He found Fireblaze's tracks and followed them. That new stallion had said Fire was carrying Cinder, he just had to find them.

"It's okay. You didn't scare me. Almost nothing scares me. Except for spiders. And mirrors. And bugs. And my shadow. Well, I'm scared of a lot of things," Minty says, embarrassing herself. "Um, well, everypony was grey and acting all mean.. I guess that's what you meant by Impetus tried to kill me," Minty chuckles a bit. "W-was I bad?"

'' Cinder, I have no clue at all. I'm about to give up hope, even my own magic betrayed me while the others decided to go down their own path at the same time as our group itself disintegrated at the scenes. So, I would just abandon them.''

 

Turning her back to Cinder, setting her hooves flat on the ground as the ground starts to shake! '' If you need me, I'm about to flee.''

Silver skidded to a stop in front of the two mares. 

 

"Cinder!" he cried out with relief, noting that her color was still the soft tan he'd grown so fond of. With out thinking, he threw his hooves around her and gave her a close hug. "I was so worried about you" He confessed with his muzzle buried into her mane. "I thought  you were injured or dead and that I'd lost you forever. " Then realizing how awkward he felt, he pulled back and glance at Fireblaze with concern. "She's going grey! He said. "This isn't good, No time to fully explain Cinder, but it will make her enchanted and she may go crazy... well crazier, and start attacking every pony else with her fire balls!"

 

"IMPETUS!!!" Silver Note yelled at the top of his lungs. "Get your cutie mark over here, Fireblaze needs your help!"

 

He pulled out his bugle and sounded the Revielle call (the second one.)

"Silver...? What...Grey?" Cinder mumbled. "Whats happening? Where are the others? Where are we?"

 

She blinked a few times. It was the most she could do - most of her body still wasnt responding properly and her mind wasn't clear enough to think clearly.

 

"What happened to me?"

"Not at all, as much as your friend likes to exercise his own voice, he is quite right about one thing: It clearly wasn't you in control back there."

 

He winked at the mare.

 

"Besides, you were glorious! Remind me never to get on your bad side Minty because you were quite the... Is that him again?"  

 

Turning towards the sound in the distance, Redwave shook his head. 

 

"Does he always act like this? Nevermind, we should go and find out what the issue is. No doubt the foal has fallen in a ditch and forgotten he can fly."

'' Look guys, I would love to aid you guys in helping our friends get the group back together but I'm running out of time before my entire body turns grey and I start to betray you guys. So I suggest you guys, step back before I burn you into smithereens.''

The shaking starts to come to a halt, pulling her hooves from the ground as her entire coat becomes gray. She starts to feel like she is being controlled to do evil deeds by an unknown master. The unknown voice said to Fireblaze, ???: ''I command you to burn this forest into ashes.''

'' Yes, master.'' She responded to the unknown voice. Rising from the ground, throwing fireballs across the forest as they burn the trees in the process. '' Now, here is a message to you.. stay out of my way!''

Fireblaze starts to move very fast out of their path at the speed of light.

Silver Note launched himself on Fireblaze's back and pinned her down. "I'm not letting you hurt anypony with your fire" he said to  her. This could be a major disaster.

 

"Cinder..." He said, glancing up at her. "Something is turning everypony grey and making them violent towards each other.. You didn't seem to get effected as you've been unconscious. I'm not effected since I'm already grey!" He said, glancing down at his shimmering silver coat that glistened in the moon light  "Advantages to having a boring coat color..."

 

"Where are the others?" he thought helplessly. He suddenly wished Lyona was here. He couldn't lead this group! yet with out her, he was the only one who could try to keep things in order.

 

"Cinder, do you have any way to put out the fires?"

'' Let me go!'' Starts to bite his hoof, trying to get free of his grip. Sending her hoof back behind her, kicking him off her back. '' Now, I need to go now!'' Using her magic, to transport her to a few miles into the forest away from the group.

 

She starts to walk into a very dark cave, looking at the unknown unicorn from earlier singing her eerie song into Fireblaze's ears.

'' I have come to help you, ma'am. I am at your command.''

"Silver...? What...Grey?" Cinder mumbled. "Whats happening? Where are the others? Where are we?"

 

She blinked a few times. It was the most she could do - most of her body still wasnt responding properly and her mind wasn't clear enough to think clearly.

"Th-thanks.." she says, still blushing. "Yeah, we should get going." After a moment's silence of walking, she eventually decided to speak. "Silver is never like that actually. He's never did that before. I guess he just thought that you were the reason we had all this chaos," she said. "He probably wanted to stop it, since he was the only pony not changed. He wanted to change me back too; since he knows I'd never act like that." She put her mane in her face, scared that she screwed up. She didn't want to mess up in front of her newfound crush now.

"... fires...? I..."  She closed her eyes, squeezing them tight. "I don't... I don't think so..." 
 
She tried to stand again as Silver crashed to the ground but her legs still wouldn't support her. Dropping back onto her side, she winced.

 

"... No!"

"Well then... Perhaps when he realizes that I was trying to assist you while he was flying around with his head in the clouds he might come to his senses." 
 
They fell into silence again just before a flash of light erupted somewhere in the distance.

 

"Wasn't there a unicorn with you, Minty?" He asked in a deadpan voice. "Quickly, stay close." 

 

Rearing back, he sped up to a full run.

'' Now that we escaped the other ponies, what shall I do for you now?'' Kneeling her head down in front of the unicorn.

 

???: I want you to bring me the pegasus known as... Mintatheena.

 

Lifting her head up, looking at the unicorn telling Fireblaze her next command.

 

'' But, why do you need her?'' She starts to question her, for what she asked her.

 

???: I don't want you to question me, now bring her to me!

 

'' Yes master.'' Blaze starts to exit the cave, and transport herself back to the group.
