Crimson looked seriously at the evil looking island before them, his mind only had one thought, kill his father, save his sister and save equestria, because knowing Umbra, he's probably got some sort of evil scheme planned to do something like destroying or enslaving all of equaetria. Crimson then cursed as he saw a massive silhouette, of what looked like a small army marching towards them. Crimson magically amplified his voice with his magic, "everypony get on your guard! I think we have company!" said Crimson before igniting his body in flames and waiting for the others to show up.

((THE END IS NIGH!! but this "attack" isn't what it seems...what do I have planned? oh, you shall see...very soon *evil laugh*))

Cosmo felt Crimson's power, "Well, Lyth. It sounds like stealth is out." Cosmo raced to the deck to the army in the distance, unsure what they were. "Crimson... What the buck am I looking at over there?" Cosmo's face was a combination of uncertainty and excitement as he looked at the shadow army before him.

Lyth followed him to the deck duitifly. Surveying the situation, she concluded more information was needed for proper action. Seeing as how Cosmo just asked a question, she decided the wait to say her piece. Crimson,

however, had her undevided attention.

Swordpoint watched as the shadows approached. He surveyed them carefully, taking stock of their appearance. But he noticed immediately that something was off. "Why do they appear to be... ethereal? It certainly cannot be the distance..." He moved beside Crimson. "They are his creations, are they not? His summoned warriors. Or perhaps they are cloaked in the darkness surrounding Umbra." His lance appeared and fell gently into his hoof. He was prepared to fight.

Behind him, Rainbow grasped the dagger held in place behind her wing. She took it out and twirled it a little. "Yeah. We can do this." She hovered in the air, anxiously waiting for Crimson to give the signal. She wanted to throw herself into the fray and prove that she wasn't weak. Gotta make sure this idiot doesn't hurt himself again. But I still have my... No. I'm not going to think about it. I'll tell him when we're on the way home. Until then, he doesn't need any more distractions.

Crimson looked at the oncoming army of shadows and knew that this may end up being his final adventure, yet despite the immense danger and stress of the situation before them, Crimson couldn't help but smile at his friends as they gathered by his side, weapons in their hooves and ready to fight with him to the bitter end. "Everyone...I want you to know that it has been a true honor and privilege to sail with you all...I don't just see you as my crew...but as my family, and I'm glad that you could all be here  to fight by my side today...I wouldn't rather have anyone else..." said Crimson with a defiant grin as he unsheathed Helios and pointed it at the oncoming forces. "anyway, now that we're done with the mushy stuff...LET'S FINISH THIS!!" Yelled Crimson before rocketing off the deck of his ship like a flaming meteor and crashing into the front row of shadow warriors, sending them flying in all directions, Crimson then stood up and began cutting down as many as he could with his powers and enchanted blade. "they can only be hurt by magic! The plan is simple...blast through they're ranks...AND SAVE MY SISTER!!" said Crimson as he continued to fight.

((Sorry for the VERY late reply guys! I've been busy! I would have replied last night, but I fell asleep...anyway, LET'S WRAP THIS PARTY UP!!))

Equinox smirked before jumping down and made his rifle appear. "You ready Deranged" He asked. "I been ready since we started" Deranged replied as Equinox started shooting the heads off of the warriors. "I think this is going to be the last adventure I do for a while" He said

Lyth took Cosmo's hoof in her own and gave it a tiny squeeze. "Cosmo, will you stay here and help me for a minute?" she asked. She gently probed his mind until she found an openning she could slip through (and protect). I could use a little extra strength right now.

Cosmo nodded, while he could use his telekinesis along with his attacks, he had limited offensive spells so he supplied Lyth with energy. He considered using telekinesis to speed up the ship but decided he'd reserve his power for later on in the long series of fights ahead of them.

She gently tapprd into his magic. He would've felt two layers connect with his magic: Lyth's well-trained but comparatively weak layer, and her stored energy-ocean of magic that was supplimented by Her Ladyship. Connecting with her would've been like being attached to a battery the size of a motor-home. He would also feel tiny shifts, which would be Lyth using and regulating the energy. Help me shape the spell, she thought. Her mind had two runes held in place. One was the rune for moon, and the other for night. He would be able to recieve her intention to summon a full moon.

"Sorry Celestia, Sorry Luna..." Cosmo felt like this was bordering forbidden spell casting and felt a chill as he imagined the Princess's reactions to this but ultimately shaped his telekinesis to act as a framing for Lyth's spell as long as she could fill it with the necessary energy. "Remind me again why we're high jacking the celestial bodies..."

Swordpoint nodded to Rainbow, and the two rocketed from the deck with blinding speed. Swordpoint met the line of approaching warriors right behind Crimson, and he stayed near his brother as he tore through their ranks. They fell quickly beneath his magic lance, and he effortlessly cut down pony after pony. Crimson's rage will be his undoing... That last pony nearly decapitated him. I must stay close to him. As another blade approached Crimson's backside, Swordpoint lunged forward, deflecting the blow with his lance and spearing the attacker in the throat.

Rainbow stayed near Swordpoint and Crimson. Her hooves were shaking, and as she used the enchanted dagger which Swordpoint had given her, she began to gag. I'll never get used to the smell of blood... But I don't have a choice. I need to watch his back. Ironically, while Swordpoint was defending Crimson, another warrior approached him from the side, blade poised for a strike. In the blink of an eye, Rainbow had darted toward the pony and opened his throat with the dagger. "Come on! Watch your back!" she cried as she dodged another attack. She quickly retaliated by slicing the pony's arm off. The attacker didn't even flinch, and instead, tried to swing its sword with its other hoof. Rainbow easily dodged and gored the pony. All the while, she tried to expose as little of her stomach as possible. Gotta be careful... And after this is over and we're on the way home, because we are going to win, I'll tell him.

There are multiple reasons. One of them is because Luna owes me a favor, and this is a good time to cash it in. Her eyes glew, and therr was a big tug in her gut. And also because we're going to put it back when we lrave the island. A large, glowing rune faded into the sky as it began to darken and the moon began to rise/as the moon began to grow.

(I don't know if it's night or day.)

Equinox kept shooting the enemies down till he noticed he tan out of ammo. "Hey Deranged...want to do this the old fashioned way...like old times" He asked as a katana appeared. "Been waiting since this fight started" Deranged said as Equinox smiled before stabbing one of the enemies that survived being shot

Crimson easily blasted through the ranks of shadowy soldiers with both his flames and his sword, admittedly due to his ensuing rage, he wasn't watching his back very well, but from what he saw out of the corner of his eye, neither was Swordpoint, but seeing as Rainbow was covering him, it didn't matter. "Burning whip!!" yelled Crimson before materializing a flaming whip into his free hoof and wrapping it around three nearby soldiers necks, Crimson then then spun them around and threw them towards Swordpoint. "Hey brother! Kebab those leftovers for me!" said Crimson with a chuckle before continuing to decimate the soldiers numbers, now noting to keep a closer watch on his own Hyde.

"Hey Luna, remember that favor you owed me? Well I borrowed the moon so we're even now..." Cosmo muttered sarcastically, still very uncomfortable with what they were doing and not entirely sure why they were doing it...

(Lol, seriously though... Why are we borrowing the moon? A power boost for Lyth or something more?)

Swordpoint deftly gored the ponies which Crimson had thrown. He tossed their broken corpses aside effortlessly as he dodged a strike from another attacker. They are not very skilled. It is almost as if they are throwing themselves at us to slow us down. He leapt into the air and spread his wings wide. His golden aura surrounded him, and he caught Rainbow's eye. He nodded and she flew to his side, a rainbow colored aura rising around her. "Crimson! Lie down now!" Swordpoint shouted. He felt his energy merging with Rainbow's, and the power boost was amazing. But... there was something else, there. It was faint, but it was almost as if he could feel another source of energy. He quickly shook it off, took her hoof, and whispered into her ear "Release it, Rainbow. Release it now."

Rainbow nodded her head and allowed the power to flow out of her. She watched as the light swirled around Swordpoint before it suddenly and violently pulsed outward. Line after line of the shadow soldiers fell in an instant. The blast hadn't completely destroyed them, but it put a serious dent in their ranks. He'd reduced their forces by nearly a quarter.

Lyth's eyes shone brightly in the now-night battle. Magic in the form of said light blead from here eyes, barely contained, as she sifted through a few of her memories. She stopped at her memory of coming to the palace on Luna's back, where there was a spectacular full moon. She painted a mental rune phrase on it; one for arcane, the other storm. Her eyes flashed, and lightning bolts shot across the battlefield.

Cosmo realized his role was complete so he sheathed Altair and conjured a blade of telekinesis to carve his way to Crimson and Swordpoint and help keep his bros safe. "So, I didn't miss too much while high jacking the moon did I?" He joked as he sliced a shade in half and blasted a group with Blood Wind. Edited by TheBreech

Crimson decapitated a shade and slitting the throats of three more, before jumping back a good distance and disintigrating a large portion of them with his flames, giving Cosmo a devious grin. "Not really, the nights still young, so pick a partner and just dance brother!" Said Crimson before continuing his fiery onslought on the shade army.

Cosmo laughed and returned the grin, "Dance you say?" Cosmo began fighting the shades at incredible speed thanks to his speed buff. Before long Cosmo stood on a sizable pile of corpses and watched his friends finishing up their enemy groups.

(I'll reply when we're done with the shades.)

"Damn!" Swordpoint cursed as he saw the effects of his spell. "That should have eliminated them all..." He had exhausted a lot of energy, and the island wasn't filled with natural magical energy, like Equestria. "That cursed Umbra's dark magic is suppressing the magic of the land. I am unable to gather any energy."

Rainbow shook her head in frustration. "Then take some from me! They need our help!" She grabbed his hoof and let magic flow through her.

Swordpoint quickly shook his hoof away. "Rainbow, I cannot do this. I know you are keeping a secret from me."

Rainbow's cheeks turned beet red and her eyes shot back and forth. "I-I am not! Just take it!"

Swordpoint placed his hoof on her chest, sensing the energies around him. He could feel it. Two sources. He stared directly into her eyes. "How long?"

Rainbow was about to lie again, but she saw the knowing in his eyes. "... Two months. I didn't think I was until I saw a doctor. I didn't want to freak you out."

Despite his serious stare, an immense pride filled Swordpoint. "We will discuss this later." As he began to glance down at the battle below, he quickly looked back into her eyes and moved his head close to hers. Their lips met briefly, and he whispered "I love you, Rainbow Dash, and I have wanted this for a long time."

She could only give him a sheepish smile as a small tear formed in her left eye. "Let's keep this to ourselves until we're done here."

Swordpoint nodded. He wanted to tell her to return to the ship, but he knew that Umbra's magic was too dangerous. No, better to have her by his side. Now, he had another reason to fight. He was no longer only protecting his lover, but his family as well. "Stay close to me." He dove down, aiming for Crimson and Cosmo. His hooves touched down beside them, and he immediately went to work cutting down the shadow warriors.

Rainbow followed close behind, staying near to Swordpoint. It's almost over... If we can just push through, we can get to that punk, Umbra.

Lyth walked off the ship, barely giving the devastation a second thought. Whenever one of the shades got roo close, they would get hit by silver lightning bolts and disapate. She had her knife drawn, and it floatedd next to her, untill she was ready to use it.

Crimson dodged a slice from one of the shades, but only barely, getting a cut across his face. He then slashed the shade into nothing and backed up beside Cosmo and Swordpoint. "As fun as this is, I have a feeling that this is just a distraction to wear us out! Let's cut a line through them and get to the entrance!!" said Crimson before rushing forwards and disintegrated a group of shades with his flaming aura, making a steady line towards the entrance to umbra's castle. A large, black and evil looking behemoth of stone and wood, with black clouds swirling over the top. Very cliché.

"Deranged kill them with no mercy" Equinox body just walked forward as a black mist seeped out of his body and formed a demon that slashed through the monsters. "Susan o...MAKE THEM BLEED" He kept walking forward killing the shades before Deranged went back into Equinox as the approached the castle. "Never have I thought using that would be fun" He said

Cosmo blitzed over to Lyth, and extended a hoof with a slight bow. "Would you like a lift my lady?" Rather than wait for a response like a proper gentlecoat, Cosmo acted like himself, grabbed Lyth with telekinesis, and flew them across the battlefield to join the others at the entrance. Cosmo glanced over and smiled, "You wanted the lift right?"

She faked a sigh, saying, "Oh, I suppose I did. I'm so glad such a tall, handsome young colt could come to my aid. I might give him a kiss. When he learns some patience and manners by listening to his sword, he may get the next step. " She winked and continued zapping her foes.
