She faked a sigh, saying, "Oh, I suppose I did. I'm so glad such a tall, handsome young colt could come to my aid. I might give him a kiss. When he learns some patience and manners by listening to his sword, he may get the next step. " She winked and continued zapping her foes.

"Some situations require patience..." Cosmo stabbed a shade that tried to attack them in the face, and grinned, "Others, not so much." Cosmo sent a BloodWind burst towards Swordpoint, clearing a path for him and Rainbow Dash, "Swordpoint! Rainbow Dash! C'mon over here!"

Swordpoint rushed ahead, with Rainbow close behind. He easily defeated the shadow warriors in his way, coming to a skidding halt beside Crimson. "We must continue onward! This is merely a waste of time! Let us go forth!" Without waiting for a reply, he galloped toward the castle.

 

Rainbow kept in stride with Swordpoint. She was faster than he was at flying, but when it came to combat, his reflexes far surpassed hers. She knew this and stayed as near to him as she could.

 

Swordpoint couldn't help but steal glances at her. I must protect her... and the unborn. He sighed deeply. If only I could have received this news at home... It fills me with pride to know that my legacy will live on... and that I have a chance to show another pony the love I never received.

Lyth looked them over, her sight perceiving the magic around her. As she looked at Rainbow, she saw what could've been an eclipse, if energy could do that. Lyth pretended not to notice, and didn't think on it to hard, other than to cast a small protection spell on Rainbow. To her, it hovered above Dash's back. To everyone without the ability to see magic, it was invisible.

Fade through Fade, Cosmo noticed and understood several hints in Rainbow Dash's behavior, "Looks like we've both got families starting... You'll be a great father." Cosmo knew better than to say that out loud, and risk Umbra using Rainbow Dash as leverage against them. "Well, we're all here, and Lyth can vouch for my impatience soooo..." Cosmo ripped the doors off their hinges with telekinesis and entered quickly but cautiously, anticipating traps or an ambush.

"I wanted to rip the door off" Equinox said as he looked inside the castle. "Bet you first thing when we step inside will be a trap" He said as he picked up a heavy rock and threw it inside the castle. "I wonder if that activated anything like a trap" He stepped inside

Just as everyone stepped past the threshold, the exit was immediately sealed by a glowing force field, and the hall was suddenly illuminated by torches that hung on the halls. At the end of the hall was a massive pipe organ, which was playing rather dark and ominous music. The musician was wearing a long, black cloak, and was surrounded by hooded figures. The musician suddenly stopped and turned around to face the crew wearing an evil grin, it was Umbra...the real Umbra, and not only that, but just above the organ, Violet was trapped in a glowing purple, crystal-like, force field. "Hahahaha...so...this is all that's left of your little crew, eh boy? How pathetic! You will soon wish you had joined them...so give it to me now, and I'll kill you all swiftly..." said Umbra darkly. Crimson gave Umbra a look of pure and utter loathing. "Your gonna pay for all the lives you ruined...mine, Violet's, Raze's, Stone's, Twinkles, everyone! One else is dying here today, except you, all you abominations...and most likely me..." said Crimson before processing what Umbra said last, giving him a suspicios glare. "Wait...give you what? I haven't stolen any of your riches...yet..." said Crimson, mumbling the last part. Umbra gave Crimson an angry glare and growled. "Don't play dumb with me boy! Just give up the stone, and this will end easier for you and your pathetic crew!" said Umbra angrily. Crimson shook his head in exasperation. "I have no idea what your talking about! But I don't really give a shit!! I'm just gonna kick your ass, destroy this hellhole, and take my sister back!!" said Crimson bravely, brandishing his sword. Umbra scoffed. "No matter, I shall just kill you and take it by force...attack..." said Umbra with a shit eating grin. The cloaked figures around him suddenly jumped to his side and threw off they're cloaks, revealing themselves to be the opponents they killed on the island of trials, all grinning crazily. "round two, motherfuckers!!" said number 2 in a crazy tone before they all lunged at the crew, Crimson and Umbra instantly clashing in a sword and magic duel.

"Deranged...you want this one" Equinox asked as Deranged took over. "Gladly" He blocked the attack. "Never got a chance to fight you after being knocked out" Deranged laughed before he sent a hoof into his opponent. "Besides...To Equinox and me you are just another pony"

Cosmo grinned at Iron Raze, "Looking good man! Last time I saw you, you looked like a sponge," Cosmo Blitzed over with his spell but separated into a half dozen clones halfway with the real Cosmo invisible. "Blood Wind worked pretty well last time," they said in a confusing chorus, "So either you prepared yourself for that to not work again or showing off my spells won't even matter!" All of them struck at him except the real Cosmo who stood apart invisible and ready move at a moment's notice.

Iron Raze simply grinned and stood there, as all of the swords struck his body, but instead of impaling him like last time, they all glanced off his metal hide. "I'm different from our last encounter...I won't lose to you again, worm!" said Iron Raze before magnetizing towards Cosmo at blazing speeds, punching him in the face. As the punch came at Cosmo, it hit a wall of magic stronger than diamond. The source od the magic? Cosmo's defensive amulet had been rwenforced by Lyth's lunar magic during not one, but two full moons.. Immediately, Lyth whipped around to face Iron Raze. "As in all beings, there are two sides to every coin. As my lady has married the sun, I too owe him my faith. I call upon this faith!" She points at the Iron and for the briefest moment, a pony could see Lyth as a solar priestess. A circlet of golden fire, in more flashy red and gold robes with a more imperious look in her eyes. Behind her, the black half of the yin-yang sign glowed ghastly, with rhe white bit burninf bright. Five runes blazed to molten life in the space around Iron Raze. Fire, Burn, Inferno, Sun, Noctis "Nocturnal Sun, Noctis! Activate!" She slid her sword out a fraction of an inch, and the place exploded in a black sun. Lyth fell to the ground, unconcious. (For two rounds of posts)

Iron Raze screamed in pain as the heat of the fire from the runes began to burn and melt him, seemingly ending the fight before it really started. Suddenly, Iron Raze stopped screaming and smirked as he melted into a puddle of silver liquid, which proceeded to flit out of the flames and next to Lyth, before turning back into his original form. "Hehehehe...quicksilver is such a very useful metal, is it not? It has an extremely low melting point, but what it lacks in defense, it makes up for in speed...I'm not just any mere elemental, I'm the metal of the earth itself! For your insolence, I shall kill you first..." said Iron Raze before advancing on the unconscious mare.

As he neared Lyth, Iron Raze was flown back by a wave of telekinesis. Cosmo stood by his mare friend for a moment before blitzing towards his opponent. He stood a few feet from him and slowly said, "You're not a clever stallion... Are you..? You traded defense... for speed... I will end you..." Comso's eyes glowed and the air around him shimmered as he devoted almost all his energy to Shadow Dance. I know a bit about quicksilver, along with many other metals... I recently altered Altair to extend the blade. Luna had an entire team devoted to finding the metal we'd use. It was decided that no known metal would be sufficient to mix with the star metal my clan forged this blade with. The best we could do was use enchanted aluminum and alter the star metal into a shell around it. Your hide is some kind of incredibly dense alloy, along with magic. My metal is stronger than yours, so the only question is how much force will I need to jam my sword through your face... And whether or not you really think you're faster than me..." Cosmo turned invisible so while Iron Raze had idea where he was, he couldn't just throw a punch straight at Cosmo's face. "You're move, brute."

(I buff my monster and use a choice spell...)

Suddenly, Altair sliced a gash across his left eye. "Wow, you're stupid. Disappearing? I'm right here. And who are you to criticize honor? You just moved to execute a defenseless opponent. As for hiding, I'll resume visibility, when you resume flesh, metal hide..."

(OoC: Ocarina of Time reference. The battle with Ganondorf atop Ganon's Tower. Ganondorf is playing an organ with Zelda imprisoned in the crystal above him. Of course I got the reference! One of my favorite games!

 

Also, I don't remember any of the elementals.)

 

Swordpoint leapt into the air, and Rainbow followed. His attention was focused on Crimson and Umbra. Back and forth, they clashed swords and spells. Umbra looked even more vile in person than when he had visited Swordpoint in the tournament. 

 

"Go help him," Rainbow said gravely. "I'll watch your back. Let's go!" She nodded toward Crimson.

 

Swordpoint looked from her to Crimson, and then back again. "Do not stray far." He launched toward Crimson, landing nearby. He pointed his lance at Umbra. "I warned you, Umbra. Never threaten to harm my loved ones." Swordpoint quickly leapt behind Umbra and swung his lance at Umbra's side.

 

Rainbow stayed near Swordpoint, but at a safe enough distance from Umbra. She knew she wouldn't stand a chance against him; Crimson looked almost evenly matched, and he was just about as strong as Swordpoint. She focused instead on a spell she'd learned in training, radiating an aura which covered and shielded him. We're not going down that easy, Umbra...

((They're not all elementals, just Iron Raze...don't you remember Swordpoint and Rainbows fight with Terror Vain? He exploded, remember? It was awsome! Anyway, I'm glad you got the reference! Its one of my favorite games too! Along with Conker: live and reloaded, smash bros, dead space, oblivion, pokemon ruby/emerald/sapphire, and the ever fun and bloody, Mortal Kombat!! LOL ok, i'm done fanboying for now, let's proceed with the badass fighting!))

 

Iron Raze cursed as the blade slahed his eye, causing it to bleed. "Gah! Dammit! That enchanted blade of yours is really beginning to try my patience! Enough games, assassin! You die NOW!!" Said the iron clad elemental before shooting metal spikes in all directons, in an attempt to hit Cosmo.

 

Terror Vain cursed in annoyence as he saw Swordpoint was already preoccupied in a fight with Umbra. However, he smiled cruelly as he noticed Eqiunox/Deranged, in search of an opponent. "I think I shall oblige him..." thought the evil stallion, before forming a shadow whip and wrapping it around Equinox's gun.

 

Umbra scoffed and caught the shaft of Swordpoints lance on a second sword, that he had formed out of shadows. "Hehehehe...so, you wish to kill me as well? How amusing...but I'm afraid your efforts are in vain...I am an immortal! Neither you, nor my pathetic son, have a chance of killing me!" Said Umbra with a twisted grin.

 

Crimson growled. "We'll just see about that, you evil son of a bitch!! Let's kick his ass, brother!" Said Crimson before breaking off from the clash and quickly sweep kicking Umbra, then finishing by kicking him in the gut, sending him towards Swordpoint. Umbra only seemed annoyed by this.

(Sorry for not posting in forever. I kinda forgot all about this...)

Sole sighed as the last of the shades were defeated, and was about to follow the others, when he noticed something laying on the deck of the ship... It was stone. "No... No. No no no no no!" He repeated frantically, as he flew over to her "please... Don't be gone. I need you." He said sadly, as he looked at her still figure. She had a large slash across her chest, and it was clear that she was dead "no... I- I'm sorry... I never should've let you come, I should've sent you back when I had the chance... I should've SAVED YOU!! DAMMIT!!" He roared loudly, his anguish and sorrow filling the skies with his screams of loss. With tears in his eyes, he gently picked her up and kissed her one last time "I... I love you." He said quietly, before using his magic to create a small but beautiful casket for her. As he laid her into it and turned to leave, he looked at the sky one last time "again... It's all my fault." He admitted, before flying after his friends to finish umbra.

Cosmo blitzed to position himself between Lyth and the spikes, and knocked them away with BloodWind. "Enchanted or not," Cosmo blitzed over and left another gash across Raze's chest, "The only problem for you, is my sword is stronger than copper you idiot. The only metals that can protect you are too damn heavy to keep up with me, and anything light enough might as well be butter. I'm disappointed Raze... You're a powerful stallion, but you're too damn simple. It doesn't matter how hard you can hit if you can't keep up with your foe. I'd hope your master would've sent a worthy foe against me..." Suddenly, Cosmo became visible and seven katana formed around Iron Raze. "This time, stay dead," the swords plunged themselves in Raze's body, just like before, and began shredding him to bits, to make sure he didn't get back up. Cosmo almost walked over to check on Lyth, but remembered his promise. He wanted to break it when he saw himself hiding behind a nearby column, gesturing to not worry and go help with Umbra. Cosmo grinned and nodded at himself, and joined Crimson and Swordpoint against Umbra.

(I will kiss anyone who gets that column reference XD )

"Immortal?" Swordpoint repeated. "No one is immortal. Your vile black magic and your deluded followers will only carry you so far. I will ensure that you do not leave this island again." As Umbra flew toward him, Swordpoint thrust his lance through Umbra's back. The attack didn't seem to phase him much, however. Swordpoint withdrew the lance and slammed it into Umbra's head, forcing him to the ground. He leapt over Umbra, landing next to Crimson.

 

Rainbow kept her guard up. Umbra's servants were powerful, but they all seemed preoccupied at least. Swordpoint and Crimson seemed to have a handle on Umbra, but she didn't dare go too far, instead opting to float above them, keeping a careful eye on everything.

 

Swordpoint turned his gaze to Crimson, and a small chuckle escaped him. "I suppose that since we are brothers, you could consider him my stepfather. It is quite sad, though. I had hoped any father figure I could have would be a polar opposite of the hell in which I was raised." He spun his lance rapidly and then grasped it tightly, pointing it at Umbra. "He is not immortal. Strong, perhaps, but he certainly can die. I can feel it. His energy is tainted with dark magic, but it is still the magical energy of a normal unicorn." A smile touched his lips. "Shall we, brother? I believe 'father' has overstayed his welcome."

Lyth gathered her energies from the ground. Her scattered thoughts regained focus, and she regained consciousness. She soaked in the moonlight; even in doors she could feel the energy trying to slam back into her. She forced herself to regulate it, as she stood back up.

Iron Raze cursed Cosmo to every diety he could thunk of, before screaming in agony and rage, and dispersing into shadows, leaving nothing but a hollow shell of metal.

 

Umbra rolled and skidded to a halt, before standing up and smiling the three stallions, his head wound quickly regenerating. "Make no mistake, childeren, I am immortal...but not all powerful...not yet anyway..." said the evil stallion ominously, before sending a wave of dark tendrils at them.

 

Crimson quickly cut them down and smiled to his brothers. "I couldn't agree more...let's finish him off together, brothers!" Said the pirate before sending a wave of flames at Umbra.

Swordpoint easily deflected the tendrils by spinning his lance. "Ever so full of yourself, I see," Swordpoint said calmly. He was already probing Umbra's tactics, looking for his weakness.

 

Rainbow growled angrily. Argh! I'm not just going to sit here and watch this! I want to fight with them! I'm not gonna let him hurt them! Without warning, she rocketed toward Umbra, holding out the dagger and digging it in the side of his neck. She raked it across, opening a gash from side to side. She then reversed herself and braced for a counterattack.

 

Swordpoint gasped at Rainbow's sudden action. Damn it! She is putting herself in harm's way again! Swordpoint rushed Umbra, forgetting about Crimson and Cosmo. He swung his lance wide, hoping to catch Umbra off guard.

Umbra was surprised by the mares sudden outburst, and didn't have time to react, allowing the dagger to eviscorate his neck. However, once Swordpiont was within reach, Umbra chuckled and shot a shadowy spike out of the gash in his neck.

 

Crimson saw what Umbra planned to do and knew that Swordpoint wouldn't expect something like that in his charge to protect dash. Without a moments hesitation, Crimson quickly teleported in between the spike and his brother, knocking him out of the way, and allowing the blade to pierce his left shoulder very deeply. Crimson grunted in pain and coughed out some blood, but instead of retreating, Crimson grabbed ahold of the shadowy blade, and used it as a medium to ignite his father on fire.

 

Umbra cursed loudly and hissed in pain as the flames nearly engulfed him, quickly retracting his blade and retreating several feet away, the flames dying away to reveal the gash in his neck to still be there.

 

Crimson panted as he pressed his hoof over the wound, smiling. "Your weakening...pretty soon, you won't even be able to dissappear into the shadows...which gives us just what we need to finish you off...let's hurry up and end this, guys!" said Crimson in between gulps of air, before once again engaging Umbra in a sword fight, only this time, Crimson had the upper hoof. "I can't finish this alone you guys!" Said Crimson, still pressing a hoof over his wound.

Lyth couldn't help but find it funny that Crimson seemed insistant on stating obvious facts. She pointed at the irate pirate and a rune scrolled over his wound. It quickly closed itself over as if nothing had happened to tear it open in the first place, as Lyth made her way back to Cosmo.

Cosmo laced the air above them with Blood Wind blades and shot them down as Crimson cleared the way. Suddenly, a bathtub slammed down on umbra and repeated the motion a few more times as Cosmo looked up at his time traveling self and smirked out of amusement. His alt smiled back and called out, "I'll heading out now. Have fun me!" Then vanished in a blue flash as Lyth caught up to Cosmo. He chuckled and said, "This is why I was ok with agreeing to your order if that still isn't clear."
