"What?" Snowdream said, "filly don't let your brother stop you. If you like the stallion go get him! As you said your a grown mare, you can look after yourself. If your brother doesn't like it then tough. Go find that stallion if your interested in him, but first I think you should introduce me to your brother, I want to explain something to him." Snowdream said

 

"That's something I'll prevent... I've already told him I'm not talking with him again and that is tha--" As soon as Freezing said that, she turned a bit, seeing that Scorching was inside, holding his mug in his wing. Her forehead hit the table, as she muttered a few curse words. "For Celestia's sake, why is he here? Ugh... If you want to talk to him, he's right over there in the red hoodie...", she said over to Snowdream.

"So your Scorching are you?" Snowdream said, addressing the stallion in front of her.

"I'll talk to him." Snowdream decided. "In the meantime go find that stallion... Or go chat up another one." Snowdream said with a cheeky smile.

 

She trotted over to the stallion in the red hoodie.

 

"So your Scorching are you?" Snowdream said, addressing the stallion in front of her.

Scorching, who was sipping a bit of his cocoa, turned around, seeing a mare that looked vaguely similar to his sister...and pretty hot for how cold she looked. He grinned a bit. "Yeah, that's me. And who might you be, may I ask?", he asked, extending a hoof for a shake.

Shady sweveled her ears to listen in on the voices that came from the table behind her, simply taking another bite of her muffin. Though, she didn't usually care about the speakers or what was said, she always found something about evesdropping to be very entertaining.

A certain dark gray pegasus was humming to himself as he stepped off his carriage, wearing an icy blue scarf that matched the blue shade in his mane, and black shades. On his back sat a familiarly-shaped, oblong black case. He chuckled to himself, grabbing his other bags from his seat, as well as a long, flat wrapped object. It had been at least a few years since he had set hoof on this mountain, and he was looking forward to shredding the slopes just as he had in the past.

 

Still humming, Frost adjusted his shades and trotted through the nicely packed snow, following the group of ponies that had gotten off first. Oh, this was going to be fun indeed. It had been months since the stallion had taken a proper vacation, and frankly, it was definitely about damn time. He entered the lodge, approaching the front desk with a smirk, displaying his letter and signing into the check-in book with his best signature. It made him wonder how many ponies would notice his autograph style.

 

He gladly allowed the bellhop to grab his bag and the wrapped object, shaking his head at the guitar case and lowering his shades a bit. "I'll keep this on me for now, don't worry about it." Leaving the pony to stare after him in awe, Frost happily sat down at a table in the lobby, pushing his shades back up his snout as he looked around for mares to ogle.

Freezing just sat by herself in the table Snowdream was at.

Rush took all of her bags with little trouble and began walking up the stairs, gesturing for her to follow. "No wonder you're freezing dressed like that! Although I must say, the look suits you. Anyway, I just got here myself, but I would guess there are some warmer clothes in the souvenir shop if nothing else. In the mean time, you can borrow something from me if you want, although it's obviously going to be enormous on a mare as petite as you."

(Sorry for the delay everypony. I've been entertaining guests. It'd be kinda rude for me to whisk off to here while I had people over, no?)

 

Cascade chuckled appreciatively at the colt's comments. "I'll just bundle up," she decided firmly, "And I'll find this gift shop too. I couldn't possibly make you give me your clothes... I just met you." She seemed a little sheepish about it. 

 

They started up the stairs. Thankfully, Cascade was only on the second floor.

Rush shrugged. "Alright. I just hate to see such a pretty mare in any kind of discomfort." He reached the top of the stairs. "Alright, here we are. As much as I'd like to stay and get to know you, I think I saw somepony passing through the lobby who I really ought to meet up with. Our last conversation had a rather abrupt and slightly unpleasant ending, so I want to get a chance to make up for it. But if you'd like to meet up sometime, my name is Gal Rush. I'm in room 206. And just come find me if you need help with anything else, alright?"

Minath arrived late, hoping her lateness wasn't considered too rude. She got out of her carriage and headed into the resort to check in, carrying her own bags with her magic. She eyed the other ponies around her, analyzing each one in turn. Celestia had insisted she go to this resort, saying "she needed to take a vacation." Minath just hoped nothing happened in Canterlot in her absence.

Midnight sat down and ordered a cup of coffee before anwsering.

"The name's Midnight Blade. Yeah I got here just now." He drank a bit of coffee. "This could be stronger" He thought.

"Hey, not my fault her cake caught on fire or anything. It was the stupid lighter that was busted.", Scorching replied, sipping a bit of his cocoa. "I was sort of forced into this since I supposedly ruined her birthday. But, hey! It's not so bad, I heard the hot springs here are way too good for me to pass up."

 

Hmmmm... You know? She's actually not really bad to talk to. I thought that she was going to chew me out of that situation, but... She's nice to talk to.

Aura Feather sipped her hot chocolate and watched as he sat down and ordered a coffee.

"Nice to meet you, Midnight Blade! I'm good, I'm just wondering what to do next. I'm thinking of skiing or snowboarding. I'll have to go on an easy hill though, I've never been skiing before! What about you?"

"I haven't gone skiing before either, nor have I done any kind of sports at all. I just thought something like this would be a good opportunity." Midnight took another sip of coffee. "How about we start learning together?" He said with a slight hint of hesitation.

Dude, she's awesome to talk with... Heck, she's even cute too. Hey, maybe I might get lucky. 

 

Meanwhile, Freezing was staring at both of them, starting to become sickened. Oh, you're kidding me... Don't tell me Snowdream is falling for him...

Without waiting for a response, Rush left, wanting to catch up to the mare from earlier while he still had a chance. He headed back down to the lobby and, on a guess really, into the cafe. Luckily for him, he had guessed right, and he quickly found her sitting at a table by herself, looking rather miserable. He walked over to her.

Shady chuckled ever so slightly to herself while listening to the two ponies converse next to her, keeping to herself despite the amusement she was getting. 'Such obviousness. But, I guess that is the way of the stallion,' she thought silently to herself while taking a sip of cocoa. 'Though, it might be nice  to at least get some form of attention from time to time.'

Aura listened to his response. "Ohh, I see. As far as I can remember, I haven't really done anything very sports-y either."

She listened to his question and smiled again. She'd only been here a short while and she'd already found someone to hang out with! And he wasn't bad looking, either...

Aura Feather ate a bit of her cinnamon roll and swallowed before asking her next question. 

"So, where are you from, Midnight?"

Cascade walked into her room, and dumped her stuff on her bed. 210 was her number, it seemed.  Anywho, she had a gift shop to visit.

 

After locking the door behind her and tumbling down the stairs to the lobby, Cascade looked around. There were certainly a lot of ponies at this place. Out a window, she could see the slopes. She trotted up to the window, pressed her nose right up against it, and gazed interestedly at the snowboarders.

Freezing blinked a few times, breaking out of her trance to turn around, and notice the flirting stallion from before. A small smile cracked on her face. "Oh, sure! You can, uh... You... You never gave me your name..."

Rush sat down across from her and shrugged. "I never had a chance. You just left all of a sudden. I tried shouting after you, but the lobby was busy, so I'm not surprised you couldn't hear me. He's kinda cute. Snowdream thought absently. her gaze drifted over to Freezingpoint who had been staring at them. Snowdream felt a bit guilty.

Hold up, why should I feel guilty? What does it matter what she thinks?  Snowdream thought.

"This is a long story but I'll try not to make it too long.I'm originally from Ponyville, I left after getting my cutie mark and went to Canterlot so I could focus on my studies. After that I started living in the mountains where I now live in a cave."

Midnight took another sip of his coffee before talking again.

"Well, that summarizes it pretty much. So, where are you from, Aura?"
