Diamond Tiara:Reform for Season 4?

Well, I have an idea for an episode:

 

Scootaloo is on her scooter at recess, and leaves to go and do something (IDK what). When she returns, the scooter is gone. She immediately suspects Diamond Tiara, who is innocent. The rumor that Diamond is the thief spreads all across school, and everypony turns against Diamond, even Silver Spoon. At the end, Cheerilee calls Scootaloo inside and reveals that she has been keeping the scooter to keep it safe, and returns it to Scootaloo. Scootaloo apologizes to Diamond for accusing her, and Diamond, in turn, apologizes for all the times she has bullied the CMCs, saying that she now knows what it's like to have ponies turn against you for no reason.

If they wanted a real reform then I think Ponyville Confidential would have been a good start. They added more to Diamond's personality in that episode, being that she was more than a bully figure but a tough leader as well. I think that episode could have been different to accommodate changes in behavior from the two mane antagonists. While change might be good, it is also boring for all characters to go in the same direction (total reforming). Maybe the writers find it easier to keep Diamond Tiara where she is now than to try and do something with a difficult character.

Diamond Tiara was created to be an arrogant and entitled bitch and I think she should stay that way. Stories are no good if the villains are all just good guys that have lost their way and need to be reformed

Come now, Luna didn't have to fill her heard with acceptance when she was nightmare moon,

Discord was perfectly happy being himself on team bad guy,

I want you to take a good hard look at diamond tiara.

 

She's have the time of a life time being who she is.  Right or wrong.

 

Now if your looking to saddle her with the obstacle known as redemption,

the best villians over come that one,

I have faith^^, you'll see.

I think Diamond Tiara should remain an antagonist. Her insecure personality kind of makes it inevitable, because if she's not belittling the CMC she'll do it to somepony else. But I absolutely want them to show a softer, more complicated side of her--and, even more so, of Silver Spoon. If they can bring in a filly out of nowhere to do a complete 360 from generic bully to generic best friend in one episode (sorry Babs), they can damn sure make DT and SS seem a little more human after four seasons. That's how I look at it.

nevermind.. just kidding... i really hate her and i hope she stay like she is forever... i would just love to see scootaloo finaly being able to fly and all of the crusaders getting theyr (awesome) cutie marks just in front of her and her slave friend silver spoon....

I don't really want to see her get reformed. She's a brat, and I kind of want her to stay that way. I wouldn't mind seeing some backstory for her though, maybe there's a reason she acts the way she does.

Here's what I would like to see happen:

 

Silver Spoon has been faking her cutie mark with expensive paint because she's afraid of getting bullied. Then she gets her real cutie mark but it's different than the one she painted so she has to keep on covering it up and painting the fake one over it. Eventually she admits what she has been doing or she gets found out and the revealing of her true cutie mark coincides with her finally stepping out of Diamond Tierra's shadow. She apologizes to the CMC for her part in making their lives so horrible and takes full responsibility for it, showing that her mark symbolizes good manners instead of entitlement (Her new mark could still be a silver spoon, but in a different style). DT could stay purely an antagonist for a while longer and maybe learn to be a better friend more towards the end of the show.

Just a question. why do ALL Villains and Antagonists need to be reformed? Why can't we have some jerks in Equestria?

Without antagonists the show would be goddamn boring.

I don't know but most villains who are jerks out of spite tend to not be as popular.

I mean Discord had a reason and so did Chrysalis. DT isn't popular as a villain because she's just a douchebag with no redeeming qualities about herself.

I suppose it depends. Diamond Tiara isn't somepony who I see reforming anytime in her childhood. A few years later, I can see her just getting bored of her tormenting. So maybe she needs time. 

Silver Spoon, on the other hand...
