Windy smiled and shook his hoof playfully. "Aw stop it, you're gonna make me blush Emerald.... But yeah, I'm down for some drinks later. I'll see you down at the bar, I need to get my stuff settled in my room. Until then!" With a playfully jaunty salute, he spread his wings and flew towards the entrance of the hotel, slamming through the doors, internally thanking his lucky stars that the doors were 'push', not 'pull'. If they had been pull.... Well, his head might survive the experience, but his pride and his first impression on Emerald would either be on life support, or more likely, dead. After checking in at the front desk, and quickly glancing around to see if there were any other pretty mares in the lobby, he flew up through the atrium to the seventh floor, where his room was. "Hehe, all those poor unicorns and earth ponies who have to take the elevator to their floors! Now, lets see, where's my room? 719..... 720... Ah, there it is, Room 721! Time to check out the new digs. Hmmm, not too shabby, I can see myself spending some time here....... But first, to hang out for a bit, then hit the bar with Emerald!"

Tossing his bags onto the floor and deciding that he could unpack later, Windy exited his room and descended back to the ground floor. Glancing around to see if there was anypony he wanted to talk to, Windy spied a cute looking pink mare, and trotted over. "Hey there, are you just checking in here too?"

"Oh I'm just looking for the spa, thanks. Do you know where it is? I could sure go for some relaxation right about now. I heard this place has EVERYTHING so I'm really looking forward to exploring it. Maybe we can hang out later. What's your name? I'm Pink Mist."

Aarod watched the mare walk off, smiling before turning his attention to the check in. He slowly walked to the desk and asked for the Brachuin reservation. After a few seconds of searching and ID presenting, he was handed a key. He smiled, but then frowned when he heard the room number. Room 444, but that's so high up, and such a long walk. I guess it's good for exercise. After a few moments of searching, he found the stairs and started the long journey up to room 444. After many stairs later, he arrived on the floor, slightly winded, but not enough to stop him. He began walking down the hall, and promptly arrived at room 444, which he opened, then closed as fast as he could when he was inside. It wasn't the best room at the hotel, pretty simple with a double bed and all the other luxuries hotels usually had. Certainly nicer than my apartment back in Manehatten. He unpacked his bags and lay back on the bed.

Windy blinked once in surprise. This mare certainly was energetic and talkative. That was a good thing. "My name's Windy Runner. Nice to meet you Pink. And yeah, we can hang out later, if you want. I actually am going to go to the bar right now, meeting somepony there in a few minutes. But later, yeah, maybe we can hang out. I'm in Room 721, feel free to drop by and say hi." Glancing over Pink's shoulder, Windy noticed a sign pointing towards the spa. "And if you were looking for the spa, it'd be thataway." he said, pointing towards the sign.

Stone walked off and noticed a handsome stallion, and a cute pink mare. She walked over to them slowly and asked a question "um, sorry to interrupt but, when does the mud spa open?" She asked curiously.

 

Synangel found her room and slowly trotted into it. It was big, she had a queen size bed, a bathroom, and also a huge TV. It also had a nice view of the island from her room.

"Oh, thanks so much! Sure I'm in room 324. After I'm done chillaxing, I'll have plenty of time to hang out and explore. So see ya later Windy! Oh and have fun at the bar!" Pink Mist trotted towards the spa but noticed a mare walk towards them asking when the mud spa opened. "Not sure but we can walk there together and find out. I'm Pink Mist, what's your name?" It was HUGE and had a nice jacuzzi and mud bath station she could use to pamper herself. "Oh I was right, this is gonna be FUN! I can't wait to see what else this place has! I'm really glad I already talked to two ponies,two potential friends, great start."

Waving goodbye as Pink trotted away, Windy heard another voice near him. Turning around, he smiled. "Oh, you weren't interrupting anything, she was just leaving. As for that question about the mud spa, I honestly have absolutely no idea, I just got here. Its probably open right now, though, I'm willing to bet. Hehe, I've personally never understood how covering yourself in mud and putting pickles on your face is relaxing, but, to each their own I suppose." After a pause, he added, "Is that where you're heading right now?"

Synangel unpacked her sattle bags and started to put away her stuff.

 

 

"Like I said love, it's quiet relaxing if you try" she said to the stallion.

"Oh I agree, quite relaxing. They're also a great natural way to keep your coat looking healthy. You just need to give it a try and you'll feel comfortable in no time." Pink Mist got into one of the mud baths and quickly submerged herself below her neck. It felt really good and relaxing. She started daydreaming about what else this grand hotel had to offer.

Chuckling, Windy shook his head. "Ah, I think I'll leave the mud shower or whatever it is to you two mares. I'm sure you'll survive without me being there! If you gals ever feel like hitting the Jacuzzi or the pool, well, I'd be down for THAT, because that is the way to relax!" he said, nodding his head in a jokingly smart ass manner. "But right now, I'm gonna go get blasted at the bar, so I'll see you two later, okay? Nice meeting you Stone." Windy said, winking at her and trotting off to find the bar.

After a few minutes of walking, Windy found the bar and plopped down on one of the stools. While waiting for Emerald to show up, he ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, and began drinking it. "Well, this is going pretty damn well, if I do say so myself! I've already met three mares, and all of them are cuties! I guess now the question is hanging out with all of them and seeing which one is the best match... Assuming I even want anything romantic from this vacation besides a few one night stands.... Oh, don't try that tough guy routine Windy, you know you want a special somepony, since its been a while since you had one. Come to think of it, you haven't had one since you broke up with Shoots, and that was months ago! Time to get a new marefriend Windy! Alright, alright brain, I'll figure out who is the mare for me, alright!?"

Noon trotted into the fancy hotel, feeling slightly nervous. She had never done anything like this. Her friend had suggested that she take some time off, and that this was the place to go. She trotted up to the counter and got her room key. After setting down her sattle bag and getting sorted, she heading down to a spa. "I guess a mud bath would be nice." All the the baths were full, save one with a group of ponies who looked like her kinda people.

Stone sat down in the mud bath. She could feel her skin get all warm, and she enjoyed the feeling of this. She then watched as the stallion walked away. She had a smirk on her face as he walked away. One stallion of interest, but for now, it was relaxation time. And it was time to enjoy it.

After laying there for what felt like forever, and giving his mind a chance to wander and think, Aarod made his way out of his room. He didn't really want to head to the bar right now, and he certainty had no plans to go to the spa. He simply made his way down to the lobby and looked around. There were ponies around, but he didn't want to talk to any of them, so he asked the receptionist where the gym was and made his way there. When he first walked in, his eyes widened. This wasn't like anything he had ever seen before. This place was huge and full of high grade machinery. The first thing he did was start stretching to warm up.

Sole sighed as he walked into the hotel, a bored look on his face. "Man... I hope this place gets interesting soon. This is no fun..." He said with a yawn, as he began to wander around the hotel aimlessly "wonder if there are any cute girls here..." He mumbled to himself.

She eyed both of the ponies, trying to find out what she could. Unfortunately, no belongings were visible, as those were the best way to determine a pony's attributes.

OOC: Have to turn in for the night guys, last post of the day so sorry if I don't respond to any posts directed at me. I'll start posting tomorrow as soon as I can

"Well nice to meet you Noon. Yup, this place sure is something. I'm gonna go explore the hotel a little more after I'm done here. Can't wait to see what else this place has to offer. You can join me if you want, I don't mind some company. You can come too Stone Heart." Pink Mist already knew from experience that exploring was better and funner in a group.

Her thoughts drifted back to her dream stallion. She wished she could meet a special somepony who loved to spend time with her, who loved adventures, traveling, and mysteries like her. If she found such a stallion, she would give up traveling across Equestria and stay with him wherever they chose. Sadly, she hadn't had any luck. Oh she had many colt friends, but none were close to being the special somepony she had in mind. She thought back to Windy Runner. "Hmm, seems like a nice guy. Maybe if I hang out with him some more, I could get to know him better. But I shouldn't jump to any conclusions yet, there may be other stallions here I still have yet to meet."

Sitting at his barstool, Windy's ears pricked. There was a sound just through a door that led outside, a kind of whimpering, that sounded like a pony was in pain or injured. "What's going on? Sounds like somepony is hurt! Aw, its not my problem.... Windy! What the hay?! You're a lifeguard, dammit! You always protect and help ponies in need! Yeah, but this is dry land, and I am waiting on Emerald, and I'm not going to win this argument, so I'm just gonna go see what's up." Sighing in slight annoyance, Windy slid off his stool and pushed open the door to see what the issue was.

 

Near the entrance to the hotel, Windy saw a pegasus on the ground, being trampled by a bunch of pedestrians. For some reason, the pedestrians trampling the poor pony made Windy mad. Spreading his wings and flying over, he flapped hard and whipped up a cloud of dust from the ground to ward off the pedestrians around the pony. "yeah, that's right you idiots, you can walk around, it'll only take you another two seconds!" he growled at the disgruntled onlookers. Reaching down, he offered a hoof to help the mare up. "Are you okay? I hope those idiots didn't hurt you."

After stretching for a good few minutes and feeling much better than he had, Aarod walked over to one machine he knew how to use. A simple treadmill. He started out slow, then turned it up to a jog he could keep going for awhile, and just lost himself in the sound of his hooves hitting the treadmill.

Sunset looked up at the stallion from under her mane and timidly and gently took his hoof. She stood up and carefully used her wings to dust herself off.

"Umm... N-not really... Um, j-just a few hoofsteps on my w-wings," she stuttered, her voice getting smaller as her eyes darted between him and her hooves. He was close enough to notice her scars, and was paying attention to her. This doubled her usual shyness

"N-nothing serious though. J-just an ache...."

Sunset trailed off as she closed her wings and looked around at her books. She was glad for the distraction as she quickly picked them up. The hardcovers had a few dents, but luckily none of the spines were broken.

"I-i think that um... I-I think my b-b-books got the w-worst of it...." She said as she returned to the stallion, putting her books in her blue saddlebag. She pawed the ground nervously. 

"U-um... Th-thank you... F-for helping me..."

Windy frowned slightly; he could barely understand the mare as she was talking. However, she seemed to be talking about her books, and how they had taken the brunt of the injury. Deciding not to question her timid nature, he shrugged and put a happy grin back on his face. "Yeah, its no problem at all! I have no issue helping out a pony in need! And I'm sorry to hear about your books, hopefully they're all okay! I mean, I never read, so I never carry books myself, but I suppose that going for a run carrying hardcover books would make for a good workout....." he said, more to himself than to her, lost in thought.

 

Snapping back to reality, he laughed, "Haha, sorry about that, I kind of zoned out on you for a moment! I'm Windy, by the way, Windy Runner. Now how about I escort you to the front desk, wouldn't want you getting trampled again, now would we?" he said, flashing the mare a warm smile. "And by the way, what is your name? I don't think I caught that." Windy added as an afterthought. 

 

((Btw, Windy is not nearly observant or perceptive enough to notice or even realize the implication of Sunset's scars; there is a reason he's dense and tactless. ))

I find it easy to use clues in a pony's looks to find out things about them." She chuckled. "Don't worry though, I won't be able to find out your bank pin or anything like that."

Stone let out a sigh in relief, she thought noon could find out stones other secret, her being bisexual, it would've been awkward if she picked that up. But her talent was remarkable, not only that but she was good looking to. She shook the thought off. "My talent, is the ability to use the earth minerals to my bidding, long as I'm touching it of course" she said with a smile.
