[The Elusive Cinder 1,328]

A number of verdant gemstones followed the unicorn across her room as Emerald cleaned up for the afternoon; she ensured that they were safely tucked away into her clothing including into her shoes and a bracelet she wore.

 

"Time to get that drink you were waiting for." The unicorn told herself, staring at her own reflection before leaving the room and heading back towards the lobby. "See if there's anypony else worth making time for around here."

Stone let out a sigh in relief, she thought noon could find out stones other secret, her being bisexual, it would've been awkward if she picked that up. But her talent was remarkable, not only that but she was good looking to. She shook the thought off. "My talent, is the ability to use the earth minerals to my bidding, long as I'm touching it of course" she said with a smile.

Noon looked into Stone's eyes, letting the gaze linger just a bit too long. "That's cool! I've never really been that skilled with my own magic, save with levitation spells." She fidgeted awkwardly. "Do you think there are any-" Noon paused and rethought her sentence. "Do you think there are any nice stallions in this hotel?" She looked away from Stone and behind her while saying the sentence, but that definitely didn't make it seem any less believable. Noon had be bi-curious for a long time, and the first time she mentioned it ended with her former friend judging her.

Noon looked into Stone's eyes, letting the gaze linger just a bit too long. "That's cool! I've never really been that skilled with my own magic, save with levitation spells." She fidgeted awkwardly. "Do you think there are any-" Noon paused and rethought her sentence. "Do you think there are any nice stallions in this hotel?" She looked away from Stone and behind her while saying the sentence, but that definitely didn't make it seem any less believable. Noon had be bi-curious for a long time, and the first time she mentioned it ended with her former friend judging her.

Stone nodded her head "yeah tons, mares to" she then inspected her motions, figity, and she turned her head talking about the stallions. "Um...hey are you ok or something?" She asked her noticing the awkwardness that could be felt between the two. Things got interesting for stone.

Noon looked back at Stone. "Yeah sorry. Just got distracted for a second." She took more time to examine Stone. She was serious, generally analytical and trustworthy, no doubt. Maybe she would be different. "Listen, um.." Noon shifted. "Can I trust you with something? I know we've just met, but I just want to find out if I should stay here or not. Sorry."

Noon looked back at Stone. "Yeah sorry. Just got distracted for a second." She took more time to examine Stone. She was serious, generally analytical and trustworthy, no doubt. Maybe she would be different. "Listen, um.." Noon shifted. "Can I trust you with something? I know we've just met, but I just want to find out if I should stay here or not. Sorry."

 

Stone took this as a surprise. But remained calm, this could be a serious matter. Or non, whatever "um, yeah you can trust me," she said sincerely trying to keep her voice down if possible.

 

Synangel walked out if her room and closed her door gently. The white Pegasus with a blue mane and white highlights walked down the hallway.

Noon tried to think of a good way to say this. "Well, I know this is weird, but what is your opinion of gay rights? Please don't think I'm weird or anything for asking that, I just have to know." She nervously bit her lip, hoping the pony not to be like the last person she told. "You see, I think I'm bisexual, and I just hate holding it in so much. The last time somepony found out it was awful."

 

(OOC: Gonna go out on a limb here and assume that it's also a controversy in Equestria.)

Sunset pawed at the ground again as she noticed he wasn't listening. He had zoned out. This left her with  mixed feelings. 

On one hoof, She was glad his attention was off of her, but on the other hoof, it was a little hurtful that he had just been talking to her one moment, and the next, he was in la-la-land.

It turned out that the next moment was the same as the first. he abruptly looked back at her, and she squeaked in surprise. She listened to what he said, then replied.

"U-um... I-if you're s-sure... U-um... My name? S-Sunset Sky..."

Windy nodded at the door to indicate Sunset should walk with him. Trotting towards the door at a much slower pace than he would have gone at if he wasn't escorting a mare, Windy made sure to box out any impatient ponies trying to push Sunset out of the way to get through. "Well, in that case, its a pleasure to meet you Sunset! So, why are you here at this island? Vacation? Relaxation? A romantic getaway?" He wasn't exactly sure why he'd tossed the last suggestion in there, but thought maybe a bit of harmless flirting might bring Sunset out of her shell a bit.

After realizing that continuation of the subject would lead to awkwardness, she tried to change the subject. "So, what's it like in Ponyville? What do you do for a living there?"

Ordering a drink, Emerald found a seat in the bar where she could watch what was going on outside, hoping to keep an eye out for anything interesting that might happen.

 

"Well it's not exactly 'relaxing' but at least they have some excellent drinks." She thought. Emerald wasn't a heavy drinker - she barely touched the stuff usually. She enjoyed it nonetheless though, sipping at the sweet, cool liquid.

 

"Everyone around here is acting like lovestruck fillies. Hay, I wasn't much better myself earlier! Keep yourself in check Emerald, no reason to start acting like a fool."

Aarod Brachuin finally stopped running, dropping it back down to a slow walk before stepping off. He looked around and noticed there were still no other ponies around in here, so he decided to go back, and possibly find somepony to talk, hopefully the same cute mare from before. He quickly left the gym, but then realized it was probably best to head back to his room to clean up before finding another pony, so that's what he did, walking over to the stairs and sighing as he started the long walk up.

She shook it off and waited for Stone by the bar, witch was, conveniently, just outside the spa. She ordered a cold cider, sipping it as she examined the ponies around the room.

She shook it off and waited for Stone by the bar, witch was, conveniently, just outside the spa. She ordered a cold cider, sipping it as she examined the ponies around the room.

Stone cleaned herself off from all of the spa mud. Once clean, she slowly trotted over to the same table noon was sitting at, stone sat down in a table across from her. Once she sat down, she asked for a glass of marshmallow Smirnoff. One of her favorites. She took a small sip of it, once she did, she thought a little bit if coke with it wouldn't taste so bad, so she ordered coke and mixed the two drinks up. Once she did she took a sip, and it was perfect.

Emerald noticed the two mares sit down, not too far away from her. She watched them as they ordered drinks and say down.

 

'I think I saw them on the boat a few times.' she thought. 'Pretty little things, they don't half look awkward around each other though.'

 

She smiled a little to herself at the observation.

Darkshift strolled to the bar and ordered himself a pint of cider.He recognised a lot of ponies from the boat but he decided he was too tired to go and greet them.Darkshift sat still on his barstool and kept drinking.

Stone shrugged "I don't know, I really didn't have much in mind when I came here to begin with" she said with a shrug "but the romantic stuff looks nice, I might even try looking at the art museum if possible" stone explained.

 

Synangel finished her day treatment, and decided to go for a walk around the resort.

After Aarod took a short but much needed shower, he again returned downstairs to walk around. He noticed that the bar was starting to become a popular place for ponys, but he still didn't feel like drinking. He hadn't come to this island to just drink away his problems with his family. He looked around, hoping to see anypony, but decided to just start walking around, figuring he would probably bump into somepony eventually.

Sole walked through most of the resort, doing nothing but watch everyone else enjoy themselves. "Man... I knew this place would be boring." He mumbled to himself as he walked "every mare here is either a stuck up bitch, or not my type!" With a yawn, he walked toward the bar for a drink.
