So istarted watching attack on titan a couple of days ago. First I would like to say, I dont like anime that much. However, this show has absolutly hooked me. It is so awesome and I love it so much. The animation is awesome, the writing and story are magnificent and the score is just beautiful, but I would like some body elses opinion on the show. What do you think of Attack on Titan?

Its an amazing series. Seriously, one of my favorite new shows. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

I just started watching it yesterday after my Tumblr filled with hype about it and I've loved what I've seen so far.

Shingeki no Kyojin is a great anime. It has captured many by interest on the internet, but tumblr for the most part. I first started watching the actual show early May, once I saw a .gif from Shingeki no Kyojin on my friend's tumblr. After that I became interested in the actual anime, and then watched it. I was grabbed by the animation, themes, story, ect. 

 

There's many things to be appreciated in the actual anime. One thing I would like to touch on is the diverse amount personalities of the many characters within the show. It brings so much interest to it because you become skeptical what a character may act when things turn in all different directions. 

 

It's an anime you don't want to miss out on though. It's one of those better animes to get yourself into.

Mikasa Ackerman and Annie Leonhardt are my favourite characters. I guess Eren Jaegar too... :3

gg subs are the ones working on the translations. Just look them up on google. They're a good fansub group too imo.

 

As for me, SnK is undoubtedly the best manga I've ever read to date, and the anime is nothing short of amazing either. It's most certainly got a beautiful soundtrack and animation that the series deserves. Diverse characters, a plot that has a lot more mysteries in it than one would think at first, and a s***load of mind blowing moments especially once you get past the first 25 chapters or so (as in the manga).

My friends are having me watch all the essential anime series this summer (Cowboy Beebop, Gurren, etc.), and my friend suggested I watch this too. I'm enjoying it (at least enough to catch up on it each week), but I'd just wish they'd tone it down a bit. I get that the heavy amount of drama is the story's style, but I can't really get to know the characters outside of broad generalizations because every single emotion is turned up to 11. Calmer, less thematically-conscious moments are required to make the actual heavy stuff mean something.

 

Also, the last few episodes had a ridiculous amount of padding, but I digress.

It offers a decent premise though after reading the manga  the conclusion kinda falls flat on me  I feel that the premise could've been utilized better but I would stay it has executed its story well enough 9/10

One of the rare modern anime that is actually good with plenty of realistic elements. But Berserk and Hunter x Hunter will always be the top anime for me.
